Fantastic board book! Surprisingly long, but held little man's attention the whole time. He even wanted an immediate re-read!
Fun little anecdote: we are a Clemson Tigers fan family. Since birth, hubby has been teaching little man to wave his fist in the air and say "Go Tigers!" When we got to the page in this book with a tiger, he started waving his fist and cheering! lol Forget roaring; in our house, tigers cheer! lol

One of his favorite books-constantly oulls out. A parent favorite too-I searched high and low for well-categorized and comprehensive animal books and this was one of the best I could find.

This is a very basic picture book for the youngest child. Board book pages are sturdy enough for numerous readings and toddler handling, and the narrative is very simple. The main feature of this book is the sheer number of colorful pictures of animals.
We read this book with my two-year-old niece while visiting the board book section of our local library. She loved the pictures; she named most of the animals and copied the sounds they made as well. We enjoyed reading it together - I am sure it's popular with children her age.
