Adelaide Spencer has always had a natural talent for songwriting. She find herself humming a tune, then running around the house like a chicken with it's head cut off looking for a pen and scrap of paper. Receipts, index cards and magazines: nothing was safe from her scribbles. But these were songs she wrote for herself, not for anyone else. So when her Grandma sent her song to the Konstantine Talent Agency without her knowledge, Addison flipped her lid. Would these strangers even accept her, given her family secret?

Mark Saint knows talent when he sees it. His Grandfather used to say "There ain't no fakin' talent,". On stage he plays the same bass fiddle his grandfather did and is always looking for the best songs for he and his brothers to record. So he drove across the state to the dilapidated house in the middle of nowhere to meet the woman who wrote this special song. When he first laid eyes on her, he knew she'd be his mate.

This 12,000+ word novella has Hot Bear Shifter action, a Happily Ever After, no cheating and no cliffhangers! I've attached some free stories afterward as my thanks to you.

Very short and sweet shifter romances

This was my first Becca Fanning book. I enjoyed it and will most likely read more by her, when I'm in the mood for very short, sweet shifter stories.

Coming into this book, I had read the reviews, and I'm in agreement. This story is actually a collection of short shifter stories in Ms. Fanning's works, so if you want a good sampling and are new to her, this is an excellent way to go. There are a lot of short stories, taking me about 40 minutes to read each. The grammar is well-done, but the formatting and plot need help. There are no chapter designations, as others have said, and it is to the detriment of all the stories. It's hard to search. The plot is very thin, so if you just want a sweet romance with lots of instalove, then you'll like this.

The couple in this case is Mark and Addy. I also ended up reading the story about Matthew and Mel since they were brought up a few times in Mark's story and were included in this collection. Mark's story is standalone. I found Addy to be sheltered and sweet, so innocent and scared. I liked her the best. Mel has a determined streak to her, and all the Saint men are pleasant, protective shifters. However, due to the very short length of the story and lack of anything happening other than them meeting and getting together, I can't say much more about the characters. There's a large world that could have so much done with it, and the men deserve more air time as we hear about their family and history. Of the two stories I read, I liked Mark and Addy's more because it seemed slightly more realistic (as realistic as instalove stories can be), and the way Mark helped Addy was adorable.

Overall, if you're looking for a really short story with a little bit of steam (it's decent), shifter action, very little action/plot, and lots of sweetness, this is a good way to go. Otherwise, if you're looking for something more substantial, look elsewhere. Lots of options.

Lots of short ones

Mark is good, it ends at about 19%. I wanted more about what is up with her father's family. There is a snippet, but no follow up.
The first in this series is also presented later, as are some of her other series. One series is all out of order, which really interrupts the flow. Another is presented in order.
Having bonus stories is nice, but there is a certain sameness to them after a while.

Addy and Mark make a great couple. I really like their down home attitude. I haven't read book one in the series, but I think I may go back and do so since the hints of the previous story caught my interest.

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was a lovely story about the shy Adelaide, she loves writing songs and unbeknownst to her, her grandma has sent off her song to The Konstantine Talent Agency to see if they think her songs are worth giving to any bands/singers and luckily The Saint brothers are the lucky recipients.
When Mark turns up on Adelaides doorstep to discuss her coming back with him to negotiate her potentially writing more songs, being the shy girl she is, she isn't too keen, however after talking things through with both her grandma and Mark she decides tomfollow her dreams and goes with Mark. When she arrives she is welcomed with open arms by Matts mate, Mel, and the rest of the Saint brothers who encourage her to not only write more songs, but to sing along with the boys in the band.
This, along with the last book, is a really nice read, it isn't particularly a long book but it still manages to capture everything that it needs and is thoroughly enjoyable and has the required HEA.
I would definitely recommend this book and look forward to the rest of the boys books.
I couldn't give it anything less than 5 stars, I just love Becca ♡

This is book 2 in the Bearly Saints Series.

Addy (Adelaide) lives with her Grandma in the hills. She's lived a very sheltered life as she knows no one like her and is very wary of life outside of what she knows. Music is her outlet in life

Unknown to her, her Grandma sends a copy of her music to an Agency as her Grandma is really worried about Addy's future.

Mark Saint, one of the Saint Brother drives to their house to talk about the music. She is super nervous and uncomfortable and runs off, shifting as she goes. Mark, who is a shifter also follows her and allows her to get comfortable with him and her shifting self.

Addy goes to Nashville to Mark and learns more about shifting and her music.

Great story.

Ady has always had a natural talent for songwriting however these are songs she wrote for herself, not for anyone else. Her Grandma sent her song to the Konstantine Talent Agency without her knowledge Ady is more than a little upset.

Mark Saint plays the same bass fiddle his grandfather did. When h was shown the song that Ady wrote that was sent n my her grandmother he drives across the state to meet the woman who wrote this special song. Can he help her with a family problem she has kept secret for years and can he persuade her to join them in Nashvillle?

Lovely little story showing the emotional side of being a shifter and some of the issues that they might have. I really liked this story.

Adelaide has lived with her grandmother since her parents died when she was two. She fears the future and what she will do when her grandmother passes. Adelaide is a lion Shifter, just like her father, but has had no one to teach her control. Her grandmother sends her song to The Four Saints in hopes they will see how talented she is. Mark is sent to, hopefully, fetch Adelaide, convince her to sell her song to them, and play with them.

I love these bother bear Shifters and how they meet their mates. Adelaide is adorable and only wants to learn control and help her grandmother. I cannot wait for the other brothers’ stories.

Poor Addy her parents died when she was two and she was home schooled and raised by her grandmother. One day she receives a letter that a group would like to buy her song and quite possibly sing with her but she tells her grandmother she can't go cause she is afraid. A couple days later a guy shows up looking for her and when he tells her he wants to buy her song she gets so nervous she runs and turns into a mountain lion. But as she is convincing herself to go back home a great big bear walks right up to her and shifts in Mark the guy who came to the door. Cute story great ending

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Addy Spencer is a lion shifter who was raised in seclusion by her grandmother. When her grandmother submits a song written by Addy to the Konstantine Talent Agency, a whole new world opens up for her.
The Four Saints (a brother bear shifters band) are interested in recording her song, and send bear shifter Mark to negotiate with her for the rights to the song Mark finds himself falling for the sweet innocent young woman.
I really enjoyed Mark and Addy's story and couldn't help rooting for their happily ever after.

Mark shows up at Addy's door to talk her into selling his band a song she wrote and her grandmother sent to them. Addy wants to, but she has a secret and doesn't think she can leave the farm, she's a mountain lion shifter. Mark and his family show her there is more to life than hiding and how to control her shifting. Mark and Addy are great together, he has the patience she needs and helps her adapt to her new surroundings. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Granny Won't Let Her Hide

She's a introvert who writes beautiful songs. Her granny sent her music to Nashville and they would like to buy her song. Mark was sent to talk her into letting them sing her song. And he decided he would like her to come to Nashville also. While there she may learn to control herself. This is a quick entertaining read. Enjoy I did..

Poor Addy starts off being afraid of everything, her Gran tries to give her the push she needs by contacting music agent Mel Darling.
Really sweet how Addy's shyness, starts to evaporate the longer she spends with Mark. He is there to persuade her to the idea of leaving her quiet farm behind to travel back with him to Nashville to follow her dreams of writing county music.

I didn't read the first book so there were some background things that I missed out on but otherwise I did enjoy it. What I truly hated was that the story was only 4% of the book. Thank heavens for KU or I would have been ticked.

This is book two of the Bearly Saints series. I would love to know what songs actually gave the author the inspiration for the "writing" that Addy did for the song. This is a warm and cozy lovestory. I received a free copy of this book and volunteered to review it.

A fast romantic shifter read. This is the second book of the series. The brothers are looking at adding a new song and hopefully a new singer to their band. But she turns out to be far more than anyone expected.

Kindle Unlimited, bio says enjoys writing 'smut', this was not smut, it was trash; no real plot, no character development, cardboard characters, fill in the blank {bad} stories, 70's porn music in the background fighting with wannabe 50 shades of grey and twilight nonsense. 'Romance' is not graphic sexual situations, and especially not those that are as graphically detailed out, for lack of anything actual worthwhile to put in to the 'story'. For actual writers usually list other books; for this type just name 'writer' Becca Fanning not bloody likely, will take the time to rate all the trash out though.

was told by gr that can't do copy paste reviews, even when about fill in the blank 'writing' huh
