This is a very comprehensive, and well written guide to exploring the Great Basin, Mojave, Colorado deserts of California. Some of the most spectacular scenery, and beautiful plants and landscapes are found in this terrain. My favorite areas that I have explored using this book are the New York Mountains in East Mojave and Panamint Mountains and Valley near Death Valley National Park. However there is little that Lynne Foster has left unexplored for us in this excellent guide!
