Nightfall #3

Mysterious, Discovered, Accepted

Rate this book
“You know I would never do anything to intentionally hurt you. I would do anything and everything in my power to not hurt you against my own free will.”

Lionel is a lone wolf, a mysterious werewolf with a dark history that he keeps hidden. Without a pack to call home, Lionel is the epitome of the one thing werewolves hate the most: a rogue. No one knows his past, and he intends not to tell anyone.

When he unexpectedly comes into the now perfect lives of the Night Family, everything goes haywire. Practically everyone in the family resents him, but not Clarissa. She, a Shaded Wolf of royal bloodline with the rarest of beauty, finds herself smitten by a lone wolf of unknown origin.

Things become worse when death threats come knocking on the family’s door. Everyone is taken at the edge of their sanity, but Clarissa is the one hurt the most.

How will these chaotic events unfold? Will Clarissa ever get to discover Lionel’s past? Will Lionel be accepted by those who hate him the most? Is the lone wolf a friend or a foe?

This is the third book in the Nightfall Series. Grab a copy to continue the saga of Celina, Axel, and the triplets. With the same— if not greater— amount of suspense, drama, and plot twists, this tale is sure to not disappoint.

Violet Samuels lives in Australia, being half Australian and half Portuguese, and is a young girl/woman that is still in her youth. Even for being young, she's never lived in one place for more than two years. However, the favourite place she has lived was on the Whitsunday's. Violet loved the Whitsunday's because it's where Unique Different Found all began and it's where her friends convinced her to go for it and have a go. Look at where that's brought her. Violet's passion she is most dedicated to is her dancing, acting and singing. She has been doing classical ballet since she was four, including other dance styles on the way. She's always been able to sing and always been able to act. She's been able to use these skills in different plays, musicals, dance concerts and eisteddfods. Violet Samuels is a bubbly and energetic girl/woman who is kind, caring and has a big heart. She loves to dance, sing and act and can't wait for so many people to read her book to let them escape from the rest of the world, even just for a little while.

I’ve enjoyed this series so much. It’s a fantastic escape from reality. Lots of action and adventure. With a great storyline throughout. A brilliant performance from Rachel.

Basic unimpressive writing that lacks follow through. There are many incongruities throughout the story that just make it a very unsatisfying read. It’s frustrating to read how the writer makes the daughter of an alpha, 2 brothers, and royal blood descendent out to be completely meek. It’s hardly admirable that any time Clarissa is faced with an issue she runs off which is something I would expect from a child and not a young adult who is supposed to lead others and set an example. For being shifters, they seem to have terrible senses as well. Overall disappointing read.

**Spoilers below**

I find it unfathomable that the children of the alpha and luna of the pack don’t know their own pack warriors nor that their friend’s parents are warriors for the pack. I also find it difficult to believe that Clarissa would have no idea that there was a training room in the house that she’s grown up in for 18 years.
There’s also the issue with Shaded Wolves having powers whether they’re royal or not which the triplets seem to be lacking and have no knowledge of. It also doesn’t make any sense why their parents would decide to keep knowledge of the powers from their children for their “protection”. I find that extremely ignorant, narrow minded, and short sited when harnessing those powers should give them an advantage over others. Unfortunately, but not unsurprisingly, you get no closure on this item.
Then there’s the issue that when their pack is attacked by rogues, the family leaves Clarissa without a word. Then Clarissa’s mother is surprised/worried when she wasn’t in the safe house? Another item that appears lacks thought.
The writer also decides to cast suspicion around one of Clarissa’s friends and you never find out what her issue is. What is the point of mentioning and adding that detail if the reader won’t get closure?

Loved it and can't wait for the next one. I hope it builds on Clarissa and Lionel going home with her brothers to help and they find their mates.

I was give a free copy of the MDA in exchange for a review.

I'm not going to go into get detail because I don't want to spoil the book it and if you want to know I say get the book it's worth it.

So where to start let me just say I'm a huge fan of anything werewolf and this book series was right up me ally, with the beautiful covers to the amazing story Violet Samuels is just amazing and she will have me as a long time fan no matter what stories she is telling.

Now lets get start first off let me just say the mythological she has created for her werewolves is just amazing for there history to how they live. As for the characters she does a get job developing characters some you'll love or get annoyed with but that will be in a good way so don't worry to much about that and the family dynamics is just beautiful and there will be moments where you will wondered it they will be able to mended every thing at the end. I not going to go into great detail as I said I don't spoil the story at all so let me say this if your into werewolf story that tells a beautiful story and gets your emotions running high with great moments or getting to the moments with worry hope that your favorite character makes in the end or when your anger gets the better of you and you hope the bad guy get what he deserves in the end I say get it, Now if you a fan of hers like me then I say get it you won't be disappointed.

A n interesting series

This is a three book series about a wolf pack, it's alpha and Luna, her guardian, wolf wars, and the female of their triplets. It is said to be for young adults, but I think anyone interested in sharpshooter would enjoy it. I would like to see stories written about the two male triplets finding their mates, more on Clarissa and Lionelafter their return to his pack, as well as Callum's story.

Kudos to the author for this wonderful work of art! I have read all the previous books in this series, and I never regretted reading any of them. If you like werewolf stories and action like me, this the series for you.

I am never really keen on writing reviews, but I am making an exception for this beautiful book. I enjoyed reading this one. I love her writing style, and the mysterious feel really did it for me. I think that the author did an excellent job in writing this series.

I love how Violet portrays her characters, and this book added a great deal of depth into their personalities. I’m calling 10 out of 10 points for character development. It feels like I grew along with them, and it makes me proud to see how far they’ve come.

This is a really a good follow-up of the last two books. Surprises and revelations are everywhere, I seriously had to stop a couple of times to catch my breath.

Do not read this book if you like books to have more answer's than questions.
Some of the questions I'm left with.
1.) Why do Jett and Lionel dislike Clarissa's redheaded friend and get an uncomfortable feeling around her? This is the 2nd time the author has alluded to something being wrong with a character but not expanded on it. In the previous book she made the pack doctor sound like she was hiding something.
2.) How can Clarissa be friends with girls for years and never meet their parents? (She meets 3 of the friends dad's near the end of the book and finds out that they were friends with her mother)
3.) Who is the bad guy in the book? It's never explained apart from to say Axel killed his mate. We are never told when he killed her, why he killed her (apart from she was apparently a rouge). How does the guy know all about the shaded wolves.
4.) What was with the weird ass the sweetest smile quote that the bad guy kept putting in this letters? that was never explained.
5.) What made Lionel's sister decide after 3 years of abuse that she was gonna shoot her capture? If she could get out of the house whenever she wanted why didn't she just leave years ago and save everyone from having to go through what the did.
Ugh I just can't. The premise of the story was really good, it's the execution of it that didn't go so well.
