The Romance Review
I loved this book! I thought this story would be more focused on a woman who is a switch. It is not. It is a beautiful story of a woman who loves her parents despite their crazy ways.

Em Woodland is single and should be living up life. Instead, she is saddled with a mother who is exhibiting crazy behaviours and a father who suffers along with her. Em doesn't know what happened. One moment she is happily single in a home all to herself. Next, she is held hostage in her own home, harassed by a mother who is never happy.

The character development in this book is fantastic. The characters, Em, Jarred and Garrison, felt so realistic. Em's life is so easy to understand and empathize with. She is a dutiful, loving daughter who is continuously confused with her mother's baffling behaviour. When she should be living her life, she places it on hold to care for her mother. Living in a constant hell, she's finally shown a way out when sexy neighbors Jarred and Garrison move in next door.

Hands down, the relationship between these three is one of my favourites in the series. Each of them are people who are relate-able and pretty much your average Joe complete with the usual curveballs life throws them. Sometimes they are able to handle it. Other times, they need a little helping hand. When the kinky community rallies around them to provide support, it is beautiful to watch. This story is filled with feel good moments.

The kink in the story is also a bit lighter as Em is not in the lifestyle, even if she unknowingly knows people who are in it. I too have been surprised before, attending a kink gathering only to see people I know outside of kink showing up. I understand exactly how Em feels.

This story is more than a budding kinky and intimate relationship between the three. It is also about families and how sometimes, medical problems are hidden and how they impact everyone's life. I loved how Em's family tries different ways to handle Em's mother. What particularly drew me to this is how Em's perspective and experiences are finally revealed and validated. Vindicating Em's stance is so good. Not that I need her family to eat crow, but it is nice for them to finally see how Em suffered and how they contributed to it.

This kinky erotic is a lovely blend of family and lovers becoming a greater community. With good friends, two gorgeous devoted lovers, what more could a single frazzled gal want?

4.5 stars

This is a highly emotional and entirely entertaining book, which introduces us to some delightfully kinky characters and brings us back in contact with characters from previous books.

Em Woodland is beyond embarrassed when her mother calls the cops on the two hunks who are moving in next door to her. She is so over having her parents live with her-she has had no life for the past three years. But the incident leads to better things for her, because when she goes over to apologize to the men, the spark of attraction is startling. And going out with them gets her away from the house and her mother.

What she doesn't know is that Jarred and Garrison are mourning the loss of their Domme. As they slowly start to introduce her to their lifestyle, the attraction continues to grow. But Em's problems with her mom are escalating. Can she find a way to have a relationship with the two while balancing care for her parents?

I really liked Em -she was a strong, independent woman who knew what she wanted. She exemplifies the problems of adult woman facing issues with aging parents, although hers are worse than most.

Jarred and Garrison are … interesting. Both are bisexual and can be submissive or Dominant depending on the situation, hence the name of the book.

The sex is hot, the story mostly captivating, and the characters well drawn and appealing. There were times when the story dragged a bit only to have some of the major action in the last 10 percent of the book. In spite of that, this was a good read, another one of Tymber Dalton's hits.

Drumroll please…Switchy, Suncoast Society book number 34 is finally available. Like a junkies waiting for our fixes, our next hit of Tymber’s Venture family hits the shelves. I for one ate it up, looking forward to coming home again to my kinky family. Along with our usual cast of characters Tony, Shayla, The Nicks, Chelbie, and our beloved Tilly, (who so doesn’t look good in prison orange!) We add a new triad to the group.

Garrison Porter and Jarred Ilson have just inherited the home that Jarred’s grandfather left to him. It needs some serious work, along with some even more serious cleaning out. That’s where neighbor, Merylicia Woodland, or Em for short, comes in. She’s a manager at an estate sale company. Unfortunately, she meets her hunky new neighbors when her mother calls the police on them. Em goes to apologize for her mother’s actions and finds herself attracted to her nice new neighbors but figures they are involved with each other, so she doesn’t have a chance. But as Em starts to hang out with them, she realizes that the attraction isn’t just one-sided, and that they want to serve her, be her knights to her Lady. And as she meets their friends from the Suncoast society, Em slowly starts to understand what it is the men want from her and for her. And their friends couldn’t be happier. The men have been in mourning since their Domme and wife died a year earlier. So Em decides to try the role on, having Tilly show her a few things (Always love seeing Til in action.) But alas life doesn’t go smoothly, Em’s mother just can’t let her be, and becomes a regular problem throughout the story. And we see that sometimes, a Lady needs her knights to rescue her and be the ones to take the reins.

I loved this book, got lost in it. I’ll be the first to admit my favorite books are where the dynamic is where the woman is the submissive and the man is the dominant. Probably because, hey, submissive here. But Tymber writes such a wonderful story that it doesn’t matter what roles everyone takes on, I’m just happy to be back with my Suncoast family again. And that’s what it feels like. Every. Time. Her writing invites you in so that you are genuinely thrilled to see old friends like Tilly and Tony back again, and excited to meet new friends and learn just how they fit into this kinky, wonderful family. But that’s Tymber, she’s just as warm and wonderful as the characters she writes, and I for one hope the Suncoast family continues to grow by leaps and bounds. Seriously, I just want to hop the next plane down to Florida and find Loren and Ross, maybe hit that munch. Ahh one can dream can’t they?
This is most definitely a 5 Orgasm Book.

Spoiler Ahead This is book 34 in the "Suncoast Society" series. Em Woodland's parents moved in with her three years ago, and it wasn't her idea. Her mother's meddling has killed Em's love life. After her busybody mom calls the cops on the two new guys next door. Jarred and Garrison are still mourning the lost of there lover and owner Janis it's been thirteen months so when Jarred inherits the house next door to Em the guys see it as their new start. Turns out Em's mother is more than a busybody she is having a psychotic break down and wanting to run Em's life. Jarred and Garrison like Em a lot but they know that they have to take it slow she is not in the lifestyle. I also like Mitchell and Brent her bosses and they also like the guys and want the best for her. I also liked her dad he has let his wife run the show and he has had enough and is putting his foot down. After taking her to the doctor and finding that it's not physical they find out it's in the mind when she refuses to move out of Em's house and her brother and sister finally understand what Em has been going through. The sex scenes in this book weren't has good in this book as they are in other books by Tymber. Em did meet the group at Tony and Shayla's house although she already knew Chelbie from "Sapiosexual" but she didn't know the aspect of her relationship with Nick and Rich Hurst. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I love reading this series and can't wait to read the next book.

Another great addition to the Suncoast Society family. Em's struggle with her mom's mental illness is what so many go through and it feels sooo real. They two guys Jarred and Garrison still grieving their loss but trying to move forward. The way these three come together to take care of each other is heart warming. This story shows us that family is not just blood and your home is not just where you live.

4.5 stars for me. Tymber Dalton is a go-to author for me, especially when I want a book with kinky characters - new and old - who make me feel. Sometimes the plot and characterization are better than other times - and this was one of those times!

Em is a character who deserves some happiness - she's strong and independent, but her life has sort of spiraled away from her with complications in the form of her mother. She's never had a relationship that really worked for her - until now. Garrison and Jarred are terrific for her, and the three of them work together. Although Em is the most well-developed character, we know enough about the pair to make the storyline work.

This still doesn't pack the emotional punch of The Reluctant Dom or Cardinal's Rule, but it's a solid installment in the Suncoast Series, one of my favorites of late.

I always love reading any book by Tymber Dalton. They are fairly fast reads but always leave me feeling satisfied as if they were twice as long. It's the quality that makes every one of her books a great read. Her characters feel like people you might know. I loved this story. It was funny, interesting, sexy as always, and slightly educational. It had a steady pace. The switchy part wasn't the character, Em Woodland but the two guys she met who just moved in next door. Em was vanilla and the main story is about the two guys introducing her to the kinky lifestyle.

Another great story from Tymber. I thought that it would turn out that the guys already knew Mitchell and Brant at the beginning. Would have liked to know about her first time at the club, but with everything else that went on........ wonder what happened with the ex and court.

Thanks for another great story Tymber

Love Love Love this story...

It's nice to have a story that leads to a happy ending. Especially a story that is real life. There is always hardship before happiness. This book shows that. Great read!

Just a taste

Oh my god. I love this book, this story and how it was written. I've been waiting for quite some time to get this story and I must say it was worth the wait. It had so many delicious yet real life problems in the story. This book will definitely get many rereads.

This story is really so sweet. Em's life is crazy and getting crazier as she deals with her mom drama. Jarred and Garrison are in recovery from their own loss. It seems that this would all make it hard to get together and move forward in their lives.

Yet these three people are drawn together and each have something to give and contribute to the others. I like they way we see the caring and the humor. There is drama but it is met head on. No matter what their "roles" are we see all three of these people as equal.

I loved this book. Ive read many tame books recently, so this was a great book to put me back into the books I've always loved. I have a heard time finding some books, but this one was a gold mine and i recommend it to anyone with an interest in menage books. its a great read with a steady plot, and sweethearts of book boyfriends to dote on a strong, independent, level-headed woman. It truly is refreshing.

Loved it

Em really has problems with her mom, not knowing what is going on with her doesn't help with things, for her Dad and brother and sister - then she meets her new neighbors Jarred and Garrison, who are coming off losing there Ma'ma, can they all work though the details of what they all need. Tilley plays a role in helping.

The guys in this new triad are just coming out the other side of their grief while Em is dealing with a very stressful.home situation. When they meet they are the perfect outlet for getting her out of her head and them back to actively participating with their friends. I like that Em is willing to learn to be what the men need.
Her mom wow Em really needs a break from her.

I love Tymber Dalton. However, this book just didn't do enough for me. I didn't feel the depth in the main characters or the supporting ones. I did laugh at the mother though. I have enjoyed this whole series so far. I will read the next one and see if it is just me ow what.

I really like this book. This is one I think I will read again. I am not a Dom/Domme whatever the spelling is. I don't particularly like reading about female Doms. I knew from the blurb that the guys were switches (kinda). So I kinda expected her to be a Dom, but the story was about getting her to that point. I mean, they didn't even really bring it up with her until about halfway through the book. The book isn't about just D/s, M/s. It is about life and the many different flavors that ebb and flow throughout. This story took me by surprise. It was a truly beautiful story. And as a sister to someone with bi-polar, I understood her frustration, and really enjoyed seeing her grow.
