Ruthless Hold is another installment in the Back Down Devil MC Series. This is Trev and Eden's story.
Trevor was running with The Lost mean as an outlaw when Griffin became his mentor. when Griffin died he was holding secrets. Secrets that could start a war. A member of the MC he is asked to fill the seat left vacant with Griffins death. Trev is however restless until a young woman shows up with a gun waving it and demanding to see Griffin. She not only brings Griffins secret from the grave but the very high potential for war.
Eden was adopted by a good family who was unfortunately killed in a car accident. Raised by her aunt who helps her discover her artistic talents Eden is now determined to find out about her parents. This bring her in contact with Trev. The story she tells him is one that could cause a war.
I loved every second of his book. I swear each book in this series just gets better and better. I love books that keep me on my toes and sitting in the edge of my seat. Ruthless Hold is definitely one of those books. There no way to explain the story without giving something away and I'm so not doing that.
London Casey has outdone herself with Ruthless Hold. I so can not wait to see where she takes us next in the Back Down Devils MC Series. If your a fan of MC reads this is the book for you!!

LOVE ME SOME TREV!
As much as I loved Trev, and still do, he just can't beat Blaine or Miller! BUT this story of a big tough biker battling his feelings for Eden was just yummy. (Sorry....sappy right!) Finding out she is the daughter of a man Trev loved and respected was a shock but even more so was who her mother is. Eden really has no idea because she was given up for adoption when born.
Struggling with this info and then having to make things right at another charter stretches Trev's body and soul to the limits. Especially after he finds out he's going to be a father.

Brutal ride, a part of life.
I enjoyed reading this book. The drama kept me engaged from beginning to end. If I could ask for anything more, it would be more info on Edema relationship with her adopted aunt.

Ruthless Hold is yet another amazing novel in this outstanding series. It was great seeing all of my favorite outlaws being such a big part of this special story. This one is about blood, bullets and loyalty. Oh, it gets a bit deeper which is one aspect that I've loved in this gritty MC series. These bikers do not duck around, and Trev might have been the biggest bad arse of them all. This book was loaded with twists, but the one that made it so much better, was finding out that Trev could be so sweet.
As usual, this story was a fast paced suspenseful ride filled with action and smokin' hot sex. We learn a lot about the mythology of Back Down Devil as old secrets come back to open new doors. Griffin's secret daughter turns up at the club bringing danger right behind her. Trev claims her on the spot and promises to keep her safe from the coming war. His protection has a price but it's one that Eden doesn't mind paying.

Fr the first time Trev had something to live for and the author made it clear in the emotions of this story. Ruthless Hold just may be the most intense novel in the Back Down Devil series. It was loaded with secrets, violence, havoc and sex, but there was an emotional aspect as well.
Trev put a hand out and then pulled Eden right to him. "Eden, I've never been so sure of anything in my wild life. When it comes to you ... Gdammit, beautiful, I'm falling in love with you."
Trev is our outlaw hero in this final chapter for the Back Down Devil MC, Frelen charter. But in a wonderful twist it seems it's not the end but it is a new beginning for a spinoff of the series. Trev's book briefly introduces a new charter and a fresh crew of intriguing outlaws. I can't wait to watch each one of their stories unfold. Needless to say that I am one satisfied reader.

Can these get any better?! Ruthless Hold is another installment of the Back Down Devil MC boys and I have to say that this group is hot, ruthless, and totally committed to the club and to family which you can never get enough of. This time its Trev’s story and I think I fell in love with yet another of the guys. Trev ran with The Lost Men as an outlaw for some time where Griffin became a type of mentor to him. Griffin had been around for a while and helped Trev form his outlaw ways so it was easy to see where Trev would visit Griffin’s grave and “talk” to his friend. Little did he know the secrets his friend held which were big enough to start a major war within the clubs charters. Trev patched in with the Frelen Back Down Devils MC when club president, Miller, had approached him to fill a chair that had recently been vacated. Trev wanted to do right by the group and took the position but he was probably the only guy left at the table without any ties to a family and that made Trev very dangerous to anyone who wronged the club. He figured the reaper would take him whenever the time seen fit and it wasn’t like he was leaving any loved ones behind…that is until Eden.
Eden was adopted as a baby by some good people who were later killed in a car accident and was then raised by her aunt who opened her up to discover the artist talent she had. Eden used that talent later on as a tattoo artist. When her boss/friend was killed by some outlaw bikers and she fought her way out of their grasp she ran the only place she could…to the Back Down Devil’s. She had received a letter a year earlier from her birth father and figured this was the best place she could go for protection. Once she got there she eventually learned that her father, Griffin, was dead and whatever her connection was to all of this could start a major war within the club. Trev was her knight in shining armor and took it upon himself to find out what he could about Eden and protect her if necessary. Eden could not help finding Trev extremely sexy with his bad boy ways but she had no idea how “bad” Trev actually was. Trev’s story takes you on a crazy, sexy ride with this outlaw and the girl he said he would protect. Was Trev actually willing to give up his outlaw ways and do whatever it took to protect Eden and was it only “protection” that he was interested in with Eden? Did Eden turn her back to Trev once she found out that he was a killer and didn’t think twice about taking people out when needed?
For those of you who follow this series and read the last book on Blaine will be happy to know that Blaine can still kill you with the things that come out of his mouth! (I really love that guy) As I said this series keeps getting better and I can’t wait to see what Ms. Casey has up her sleeves next time because God knows we can’t live without our biker boys!

BLACK DOWN DEVILS MC ROCKS ANOTHER STORY, TREV AND EDEN!!!!!
1000 Stars!!!!! I feel like 5 stars is a disgrace to this book, a mere penitence of what this book deserves. OMG!!!! What can one say to a MC book by London Casey other than "HOLY MOTHER MARY OF GOD" This book is so damn good one can say it almost very close to being as good as Viper's Kiss....This book really did a number on me just like "Viper's Kiss" did. I laughed, I cried, I hollered, and got all hot and flustered (the sex is to die for). I wanted to jump in book and beat the crap out of Ripper for being a class "A" ASSHOLE. The story line and the characters are out of this world, you never see the ending coming.....Grab your copy and read it...trust me you do not want to miss this book. Is this book as good as Viper's Kiss? Damn near!!!! Trust me it is a book you do not want to miss. Recommend this book to mature readers 18 years or older because the violence and sex are very explicit.

So when the Black Down Devil's needed help Trev came to help, and when Griffin was killed Trev was voted to take his seat in the Black Down Devil MC. The last thing Trev expected was to become the protector of Griffin's daughter and that of the wife to the President of the Black Down Devil MC Daurian Charter, Emma. He found her beautiful and sexy even if she was waving a gun at him. With the knowledge of Griffin's and Emma's affair which resulted in Eden, Trev and Miller, the president of the Black Down Devil MC, are trying to diffuse the possibility for an all out war between the two charters.

Ahhhh I love Trev !! I didn't like him in the previous books but wow I just fell for him with this one ! I love how he does what he has to do to keep the MC safe and how he loves Eden <3 I would recommend this full series to everyone they are amazing and make you fall in love with all of the men.

I received this for a honest review. This is such a wonderful series.
Trev use to be an “outlaw”. He use to ride for “The Lost Men”. Now here he finds himself taking his friend Griffin’s spot in the “Back Down Devil MC”, This was a huge step for Trev. I mean here he was use to answer to no one, now he answers to the Prez of the Back Down Devil MC. I believe this had to special to him since Griffin meant so much to him.
I found Eden an interesting character. Here she was giving up for adoption at birth. She had received a letter from her birth father and held on to it for a year. She was having a hard decision trying to decide if she wanted to meet him or not. She kept the letter from her father and the picture of her father and mother close. Though she was having this huge inward battle, I think it meant a lot to her to not only get questions answered but to meet her birth parents. Eden was truly alone in this world. Though her adoptive parents were good people they were now dead.
I loved that Eden was a tattoo artist. She truly had a talent and was lucky that Dimitrio gave her a chance to work in his tattoo shop. This meant a lot to her. Not only is she getting a chance to do something she loves but she has a little crush on Dimitrio as well. FYI, there is a very touching moment that you will fall in love with between her and Trev concerning her talent, but you will have to read the book to find out.
Something very bad happens and Eden is in fear for her life. She is at a cross road and makes the decision to get in touch with her birth father for protections. I loved her feisty attitude. You heard the saying go in head first with guns blazing. Well I guess you can say that is what is did.
Trev finds himself face to face with this spit fire that claims to be his dead friend Griffin’s daughter. He knows this is very bad news and can cause a war. The club needs to get to the bottom of the truth and decide what they are going to do with Eden. Best thing would be to kill her and keep the war from happening.
Trev finds himself having some very strong feelings for Eden. There is just something about her that is pulling him in. He will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. Trev will find that he would put his life on the line. He will be coming face to face with the Reaper. Question is will he come out of his alive?

Eden never thought that her life could be in great danger. A letter, a photo and a murder make her flee for protection. The Back Down Devil MC in Frelen was her destiny and with them was the man she thought would protect her. When she stormed in the Back Down Devils Club with her claiming Trev was taken by surprise and he could not belief what Eden told him. Thing were going to explode if the truth was known and it was going to be messy and bloody. Trev had been very close to Griffin and he wanted to honor his memory and protect Eden so, when the opportunity presented itself he had a particular plan in mind. He would take charge of her and devise a plan to deal with the new situation. What did matter was finding out the truth because he would not let down the club neither Griffin’s daughter. Love these Mc stories. They are getting better each time. The characters are a force of nature like a hurricane. Strength and destruction in its wake. Trevor was a really rude, ready to rush against a threat and with no sign of remorse but, true to his beliefs and what he understood was what should be done. No matter what. Eden what grieving her lost and in need of protection and feel loved. The chemistry between them was like both of them, intense and explosive. Before Eden Trev had nothing to lose but with her his life took another meaning. Liked how the author presented Trev struggling with his emotions when what he really wanted came to light. The action in the story was non-stop crude with much violence like these MC stories tend to be. There were the bikers known to us and many secrets that were resurging and stirring the coop. This story was full of intrigue, suspense, hot sex and a lot of hot males that added to the interest of the reading. Another amazing and exciting story that left me wanting more.

TRuthless Hold is the continuation of the Back Down Devil MC series. Trev ran as an outlaw with the Lost Men up until Griffin was murdered by a sniper who was trying to kill Miller, the president of the Back Down Devils. Upon hearing about Griffin's death, Trev goes to Frelan and earns Griffin's chair at the table. He knows that his place at the table was because he had been close to Griffin and because he was an outlaw he was in a unique place to help BDD with the war that was coming their way. He would do anything he could to honour his fallen mentor.
Eden was working as a tattoo artist when she received a letter telling her about her parents and why she was given up for adoption. Knowing that the only way to find out if the letter was true meant she would have to go to Frelan and confront the man who sent it to her. She spent nearly a year debating with herself and trying to decide if she wanted to find out about her parents. Then the decision is taken from her hands. The tattoo parlour where she worked was attacked and the owner/her mentor was murdered right in front of her. Fighting back she managed to get away from the bikers attacking just at closing time; she manages to get her hands on one of the weapons and runs for her life.
She arrives at BDD lot with a gun in hand and demanding to see Griffin. The only thing she has to support her claim is the photo enclosed with the letter. When she tells the Miller and Trev that Griffin was her father, shows them the photo of Griffin with her mother, and that she was attacked the MC gives her protection. I started reading this MC series and I hate it. But I saw this book being a really popular one on amazon and I wondered why because the first two books I read were pretty awful.
Well, I found that you have to skip 8 books to get to the really good one. I like this one Trev is a really good character and least Psyco than the other ones (still can believe Blaine had a book and is still alive). The story was good it opens to what is going to be the other part of this MC series that it's the Daurian Charter. I think this one is going to be better than the other one.
In this book, you see how the MC has changed a little bit they are now more "family men" than the Psychos they were. I think you can see the evolution during the other book, but I'm not going to go there because I can't read all those books after reading the first two books.
Anyways, this book is good you discover some secrets and Eden is not as stupid as the other girls on the other two book I read. Still there is stuff I didn't like but that's not surprising what surprised me is that I like it. I'm a little sad to found that Griffin he was the only one I liked on the two books I read. Maybe this happened in one of the books I didn't read so is not a surprise to the people who read the whole series.
What didn't surprise me was that Blane is still a sick fucker, I just don't understand why he's even alive but now I would feel bad if he dies.
To end this I'm really happy I give this book a try; is a little more true to the MC style I'm used to reading. I love that London Casey improved her writing on her MC stories.

I really enjoyed every book in the Back Down Devil MC series and really loved Viper's Kiss, but reading Ruthless Hold, I was blown away. This story stayed with me days after I finished reading it.

I absolutely loved the book.
Great characters and great chemistry between the main characters and its always fun to see the guys from the club and how their lives are evolving.
The book was fast paced with great moments of anticipation and of course even greater sex scenes..(no not like Blaine's but Trev is so freaking close).
The suspense and the secrets and the plotting in this book were keeping me on my seat and i truly couldn't leave the book down till it was finished.
Its one of these books that when you reach the last page you are happy you have read it and sad it is over ...

Trev took the seat at the Back Down Devil MC table, in honour of his fallen brother, the man who taught him how to be a true outlaw. When he learns that he has a daughter, his shocked. But she's in trouble and needs help, and Trev is put in charge of her protection. But that's not the only trouble Trev is having, their chemistry is causing him to act irrationally and he doesn't like it.
Eden is in big trouble and finds herself going to look for her biological father, she knows his the only one who can help her. Only to find when she arrives at the motorcycle club, that he is dead. She freaks out, especially after finding out the dynamics of her parents relationship and the inevitable outcome.
As far as her dads club is concerned, family is family, and they help and protect their own. But is Trev and Eden's budding relationship and the life they have created, worth going to war for and possibly losing their brothers for.
This was a really great book. Loved the storyline. It was entertaining and filled with action and kick arse bikers. The characters were likable and the romance was H.O.T. Yet again this author captures the dark, violent, and erotic behaviours of our Black Down Devil MC members. This book has a few issues but nothing too major and a few points that weren't for me but overall I really enjoyed this story!!!

This book was very well written, it moved along smoothly and the ambiance of the book was wonderful. Trev is truly a ruthless, sex on a stick, bad-ass with an attitude alpha-male. Eden is an tattoo artist, who was adopted but for some unknown reason received a letter from her father (Griffin, ex president of BDD and deceased). She was attacked and almost raped by unknown MC thugs at the time. Griffin had an affair with his president (Ripper) wife Jenn. Ripper was the president of the Daurian MC at the time of the affair which produce Eden. Can we say" Love Triangle" or "A Mess". It was obvious the attraction between Trev, (who was place as Eden protector) and Eden at their first encounter but stubbornness and strong-will blocked all obstacle. I especially love how the writer intertwine the twists and turn in this story and end up with an outstanding storyline well worth reading. This is an awesome story full of secrecy, mystery and drama which starts at the beginning of the story until the very end.Overall, if you like MC books, with some violence, blood and a lots of hot biker men who can sex up his lady and kick villains a** then definitely get this one. I loved it and keep them coming Ms. James!

London Casey gives us another wild ride in Ruthless Hold. This is #9 in BDD MC series. Ruthless Hold is Trev and Eden's story and it's wild. Eden is a tattoo artist but has "no ink" anywhere on her body. She survived her adoptive parents being killed, ran away from her Aunt and witnessed her best friend being shot. The murder of her friend brings her to the BDD club and she places her trust in Trev's hands. Trev is the "Outlaw Biker" that has been running the Lost Men for years but he has come to Frelan to take Griffin's seat at the table. When Eden shows up claiming to be Griffin's long lost daughter, things start to get real. Trev shows Eden what being an Outlaw Biker means and Eden shows Trev trust, honesty and love. The chemistry between Trev and Eden is off the charts. MC has questions that need to be answered and duty calls. and here i thought Blaine's story had me on the tip of my couch while reading. Trev beats him by far!
Trev has been an outlaw, but being patched in again he fondly remembers the times when he was riding with no laws, no rules.
BDD MC has become his second home when they called him up to take Griffin's place at the table. a lot has happened since and one by one all the members are find love and happiness in their small world.
it makes protecting the club even more worthwhile but trev isn't sure if it's for him. he's restless.
when a young girls comes waving a gun in the prospects face, demanding to see Griffin, trev knows something ain't right. the others are busy with the other halves and kids so trev steps up to handle the situation. the story that young girl tells him is hard to belief. if it is true it will mean war!!
is it really coming this far? is her story true? and what happens to trev when he's stepping up as her protector time after time.

I was given an ARC of Ruthless Hold for an honest review.
I love the clarity of London Casey's writing, as in she makes it clear who is talking at any time. I never have to go back and reread a passage because I'm confused by the end of it. London's clarity of writing makes her work flow smoothly for me.
The first book I read in the Back Down Devil series was Viper's Kiss which I loved and really liked Blaine so I bought Outlaw Revenge and Crash and Burn. Total fan of the men and women in BDD then I was given a copy of Ruthless hold to review and am more of a fan of BDD the characters within it and most of all I'm a fan of London's writing. Yesterday I totally blew my monthly book budget and one clicked all the rest of the books that I haven't read yet, so I won't be talking to anyone for a while, housework will not be done, the family will have to feed themselves and I won't be doing much at work.
London (Karolyn) has joined my list of authors whose books I buy no matter what the subject matter. I also enjoy the fact that I was able to read a book in a series without needing to read the others, each book stands on its own.

There aren't even words I have to describe Trev, I mean HOT just doesn't do him justice. Dominating, sexy, and commanding aren't worthy either! I really couldn't get enough of him. He comes off at cold and ruthless. He says what he wants, does what he wants, rules be damned. Then he meets Eden. The secret daughter no one knew about who comes to the MC for protection. Her existence can be the start of a war. But, one that may just need to happen to make things right. From the first page, I didn't want to put this book down. Trev starts off being her protector but he wants more than that. When things get crazy, Trev makes the ultimate sacrifice for the Frelen charter and the future for him and Eden. I loved reading about Trev's story. There's so much more to him than the cold hearted killer he portrays. That ending was just PERFECT!! And let me just say I freaking LOVE Blaine! I mean Blaine just takes the books to a whole nother level. I hope with the next BDD books, he makes a special appearance or something because I will definitely miss him and all his craziness. I can't WAIT to read about more BDD! London Casey is becoming one of my favorites for biker reads!

Ruthless Hold by London Casey is a surprise 9th book in the Back Down Devil series. Why a surprise - it seemed that Viper's Kiss (Back Down Devil MC #8) was the last book and suddenly there is this terrific story about the unknown daughter of a deceased member and the "old lady" of another charter President! And Trev, who seemly has his sh*t totally together and is now at the table with BDD after being a Lost Men outlaw for some years and being on the road with Griffin, whose place he's taken at the table. The arrival of Eden and her story stirs up the members of BDD MC because this some serious stuff - you just don't have an affair with someone's Old Lady! It pits two charters against each other and there is already animosity between them because the other Pres. doesn't think Miller should be heading up the Frelin Charter.
There is plenty of action, both between Trev and Eden, who seems to trust him immediately, some of the usual crudeness we've come to know and love from Blaine,who remains unchanged despite now having a family. London Casey has done it again and it will be sad to say goodbye to this amazing bunch who make up Back Down Devil MC.

Eden is a tattoo artist living her life, one night after her shift had finished she was cleaning up her area and she heard someone come into the shop. Then she heard shouting and gunshots. She had been re-reading a letter she had gotten a year or so ago and was looking at a picture when she heard the shots. Masked men had come in and gunned down her boss and then spotted her. One grabbed for her and pulled the letter out of her hands. One look at the letter and the guy seemed sort of taken aback by it. She managed to get away somehow and ran home. Upset that the man had destroyed her letter, she knew it word for word because she had read it so many times. It was a letter from her father, he belonged to a MC Club and her only thoughts were now is the time to go find him. Getting to the club she ran into some trouble. What she doesn't know is her father has been dead for a year. She meets Trev, a member of the club and when she explains her story he takes it upon himself to be her protector. A must read to find out where all this goes, it's a great read and even better ending or it seems maybe a beginning :)

Raw, Gritty and Sexy 3.5 stars !!
Ruthless Hold has all the elements you would expect from an MC story. Besides plenty of hot sex, there’s pride and loyalty from members of Devil Down MC. There is nothing Trev wouldn’t do for his club, a place he now calls family. When he’s staring down the barrel of a gun clutched tightly from a desperate, fear-stricken Eden wanting to find and unite with her father, he knows she needs protection. Because he realizes all Hell will break loose between the Devil Down MC chapters if the truth ever got out. Trev needs to claim Eden for her own good, but he never expected Eden to claim his heart.
Ms. Casey pens a fast-paced, gritty story. My heart went out for both Eden and Jenn, her birth mother, and that they were able to make up for lost time. Trev is protective and Eden is a strong-willed heroine. Just loved that we got more of the other past characters from the other Devil Down MC stories. The ending proved to be a nail-biting experience, and overall, an enjoyable read.

Taking the Ride.
I can't tell you how much I love all of London Casey's BDDMC books. I am more than excited that she will be continuing BDD following a new charter in the MC. Her MC books are my favorite out of all the MC books that I have read. She takes you into the life of the MC and you feel like you're there. She captures the MC world so well. Now about this book. What can I say other than Casey once again delivered a great BDD book. Trev was a strong h,that spoke his mind and was loyal to the MC. He was brutally honest,while also having a good heart. Eden was his perfect match. She was strong and wasn't afraid to stand up for herself,hey she smacked Blaine. It was awesome to catch up on the lives of the other members of the MC . Miller still leading the MC with an iron fist but a family man. Now Trev will be president of another chapter of the same MC and I can tell we are going on another great ride with Casey at the wheel.

Ok so this is only the second book of this series that I have read and it did not disapoint. These MC books have a great storyline and some incredible sex scences. Trev is an outlaw who runs with a group called the lost boys who are riding free from any allegiance to a charter until his mentor Griffen is killed and he is patched into the club he was in and asked to take his spot at the table. During this time Eden who is Griffens long lost daughter gets attacked and comes to the MC lookking for her father and hoping he can protect her only to learn that her ather was gunned down before she could ever meet him. Trev takes on the role of Edens protector and they wind up falling in love. But will Eden be able to take all the challenges that come her way after learning about who her parents were, and will Trev be able to protect her the way he wants too. This has a great storyline and great secondary characters that add their own unique flair into this MC.
