Fans of Courtney Cole’s Confessions of an Allie Cat will enjoy reading about her best friend Sara’s fall into love while attending Allie and Alex’s wedding. This was a short/quick read but very enjoyable as Sara the wild, untamed, thirty-five year old who is still trying to prove that she’s young meets her match.

”Someday, you’ll have to grow up, little Sara. And when you do, you’ll see that you don’t have to prove how young you are. You’ll learn that you’re enough just the way you are.”



The story had a ton of laughs and a surprise love interest for this wildly inappropriate best friend and of course more of Allie and Alex the characters from book one of this series.

Sara is legitimately a terrible human being. She's selfish, inconsiderate, rude, irresponsible, and mean. I just kept wanting to scream at Sam to run away, before it was too late. He didn't take my advice. Poor bastard.

The Cougar Chronicles by Courtney Cole is book two in this series. I recommend to read the books in order. The previous book is Confessions of an Alli Cat.
This book tells Sara's story. Sara is Alli's best friend and is Maid of Honor in Allie's upcoming wedding. She's the evil minded best friend of Alli and her hair color matches her personality. She's feisty, refuses to grow up and has the attention span of a gnat - except something catches her eye, then she's determined. Her latest victim is Sam. Sam is the 38 year old brother of Alli. A brother she never heard of.
I loved book one and had high expectations for Sara's book. But she and I simploy couldn't hit it off. I couldn't for th life of me connect with her character.
Don't get me wrong, the storyline is great, the story a witty and fun read and the writing is excellent. 4,25 stars.

Comedy perfection

I just loved this book!!! I somehow missed tag there was a follow up to the first book, which was hilarious and left me wanting more. This book was exactly what I was holing for.

It's no secret that I love Kristen Proby, so to have one of her characters from the With Me in Seattle series make a cameo appearance during the hilarious book club chapter was AMAZING! Eggplants and apas!

I want to be friends with Sara and Ally. I never want it to end. I wouldn't be sad if there was more and more to this series.

Fue un poco decepcionante. Principalmente creo que porque la historia fue corta y todo se desarrolló muy rápido. Tenía potencial para una buena historia, pero creo que la autora no dio con ello, y al final se sintió todo forzado y nada fluído. Tampoco me gustó el personaje de Sara. Pero de nuevo creo que fue por lo escueta de la historia que lo poco que se pudo dejar a conocer del personaje fue horrible. Le doy dos estrellas por la aparición de Colby aunque también creo que fue poco explotada.

3.5: Super quick read and a pretty short read.

Sara is Alli’s crazy friend. She’s not taking aging very well and dates younger men in a quest to stay young. She come to California for Alli’s wedding and sees Sam who works at the vineyard. Sara is taken with him but Alli said no way to that coupling.

Had some really funny parts. Sara is a little too much. Still had me laughing and I liked it.

Courtney Cole's Confessions of an Ally Cat was one of the first books of this type I've ever read and was waiting ever so impatiently for book 2. Its not often you find an adult romance where the characters are actual adults!!! Book 1 was Alex and Alli's story and if you love down and dirty fun times, you will adore them.

Book 2 is about Alli's best buddy Sara. Sara is quirky , crazy and full of sexy sarcasm. She loves sex and she loves more sex. What she doesn't love is men her age......until...........

The Cougar Chronicles 2 is pure no brains needed stress relieving entertainment. Enjoy !!!

I must say that Sara is now my favorite character of all time!! I love her sarcasm, wit and mostly the amusing antics that she always gets Alli talked into...after all what are best friends for right? It is truly laugh-out-loud funny as was book one (Confessions of an Alli Cat)!! My only complaint is that it was in no way long enough!!!! I want more, more, more!! Please tell me you are writing more books filled with Alli and Sara antics!!!! I will buy them all!!

Great, great and great!

What can I say.... Just as good as the first one and it looks like maybe a third one coming.... The way ended. I hope so. Just as crazy and funny as ever. What a great fun read.

Too funny

This was just as good as the first. I loved that the hilarity ensued and the bond grew stronger with the characters.
I laughed a ton and truly enjoyed the book. The author has a good way with words.

What happened at the Bachelorette Party?

This was a very humorous book and you just can't believe what happened at the party!!! I would definitely recommend it to any of my friends! It makes for a good "beach" read whether, your at home or off on a cruise!

Liked this book featuring Sara. Some of the stuff that came out of this chick's mouth was sooooo funny. Reminds me of some of my sorority sisters. Sam's character also had some meat to him. Just wished this book was a little longer. Kinda wrapped up quick after all that flirting they did.

I knew from the first book, Sara was a wild one, but in this book some scenes were over the top. Too much penis stuff. It was fun to catch up with Alex, Alli, Colby.

All I and Sara are hilarious. It's good to see them settle down. Just wish Colby wasn't Alex's son. That's no fair to keep this from him.
