Probably not the easiest read for someone new depending on how you tend to learn, for me this book was equally puzzling and amazing at times just purely because of how in-depth it is, I learnt a lot but in some moments found it complex. This book covers so much, I wouldn't recommend missing out on it though.

Terrible book filled with useless and outdated esoteric notions from Ethology.

On top of that, the author doesn’t seem to understand the basic chemical building blocks that are DNA; he claims that DNA is composed of proteins (he literally says this in the book). Which, to anyone with a basic understanding of biochemistry, is complete nonsense.

Really disappointing book.
