Gifts, those we can give to ourselves and to others were the underlying theme of this book.

Mack Blanton achieved part of his ultimate goal in Nashville then things changed radically and he returned home to Bourbon Springs. His ego took a beating but he still loves music and will never give it up completely. Jorrie Jones meets Mack at a wedding in the first chapter of the book…a wedding he had no idea he was crashing… and both Jorrie and Mack were attracted to one another. Her idea for him to sing a song as a gift to the bride and groom was well received and provided results he had not seen coming his way.

With Mack and Jorrie both unsure where their futures will lead they are not sure they want to start a relationship. They are drawn to one another and enjoy being together but wonder if they will stay together for a summer or if there is potential for forever.

Add into the mix some evil characters, some scary happenings, wonderful lyrics for songs, romance, caring and sharing, friendships, family, marriages and more and a wonderful story has been created and is just waiting for you to read it.

I liked Mack and his tenacity and his eventual realizations about himself. I loved Albert, Mack’s grandfather, what a hoot he was! Jorrie was a bit more complex with her trust issues but I liked her strength and willingness to pursue what she thought was best for her future. The other characters from previous books were fun to catch up with and the introduction of the characters for the next two books in the series provided just enough information to whet my appetite for more reading.

Gifts – they are wonderful and sometimes can change lives forever.

Copy provided by author in exchange for an honest review! Thank you so much!

I really liked this story. It was so romantic. Jorrie and Mack had a sweet and beautiful relationship! This book was super romantic, some of the scenes made me swoon. I love all of the songs!! That was such an amazing unique aspect of this book. I am very exited to read book nine because that couple made me really want to read their story. The writing in this book was beautiful and descriptive. Usually comtemporaries suffer from a lack of beautifully crafted sentences and great descriptions but it was really great that this book had great descriptions and really beautiful writing. The reason why this is not a five star book was because I thought it was a little insta-lovie. They instantly fell in love and that was unrealistic in my opinion. I still really enjoyed the book.

I give this book 5 hearts

This is the seventh book in the Bourbon Springs series and though they can be read as stand alone I think they are best read in order. All the books are about the same town and include many of the same characters which makes it fun to see what everyone is doing as years move on.
Jorrie is a lawyer in Bourbon Springs but when she meets Mack a down on his luck local country music singer everything shifts. She not only loves his music, she wants to see him succeed and become the star she knows he's meant to be.
Mack went to Nashville to be a star and isn't sure what to expect when he heads back to Bourbon Springs in desperate need of a job. After meeting Jorrie his life seems to be taking a turn for the better but things aren't quite that simple.
A steamy romance, lawsuits, country music, festivals breakups and makeups. True love at its finest.

Bottled Bluegrass is the seventh book in Jennifer Bramseth's Bourbon Springs series and while it can be read as a stand alone I think it would be better to read from the first one to this one, as a lot of the characters are in most of the books. This way you will not miss out on all the background details either.

In this book we read the story of Mack Blanton and Jorrie Jones. A lot of other characters are in this book also including Mack's grandfather Albert who is very sweet and his character is very enjoyable.

Mack is back from Nashville where he went and played music on the road to success and then things happened and he was forced to go back home, where he now has been working as a teacher part time and taking care of his Granddad, so he decides to go to Old Garnet Distillery to see if he can get some work. When he arrives there it is right in the middle of a wedding! A woman named Jorrie Jones approaches him and tells him about the wedding, and just when he is getting ready to leave the bride and groom see him, and tell him to stay as they are friends of his from before.

Jorrie Jones is a lawyer who works for the distillery and a millionaire's horse farm, but she yearns for something more. Jorrie and Mack become an item, and this is their story! All kinds of things happen in this story and Mack is writing love songs again and wanting a second chance at his dream of making it big in Nashville, and while Jorrie loves Mack, she has already had a bad relationship and is scared to take that step!

I like the way this book brings in characters from all the other books, and it is like reading about a real place in Kentucky, a small town where it would be awesome to live and interact with wonderful people. I only read the first book in this series and now this book -the seventh, but I enjoyed them so much, I am going to go back and read the series in order -it is that good! I loved seeing some of the characters from the beginning in this book also!

If you like books with great characters, love, happy times, new life, (and even a stalker is in this book) and regrets as well, and people all living in a beautiful place interacting with each other in one way or another-this series is for you! I know you will love the small town community with a bog heart!

Will Mack make it back to Nashville?
Will Jorrie follow him there, or stay in the place she has always loved to live?
Will a stalker catch up with Mack?
Will they have a happy ending?
What is next?!!

Read this book and find out! I really enjoyed it and am glad I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review. I love contemporary romance in a series, and hate to see when they end!

I gave this book 4****glittery stars, and can't wait to read the rest of this series!

I received this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Jorrie has been burned by a previous boyfriend's ambition and she didn't want a repeat performance with Mack, who certainly would return to Nashville to pursue his career. Her heart couldn't take another let down like the last one. But maybe a little temporary fun with Mack would be exciting; if they can keep it just fun.

From the first time he saw her when he crashed Goose's wedding Mack couldn't get Jorrie out of his mind. He was writing songs again, remembering what he loved about Bluegrass music, all because of her. With immense debt hanging over his head and the possibility of having to file bankruptcy he didn't feel deserving of a woman like Jorrie. But she was quickly becoming far more important than just a brief fling. She was getting deeper into his heart and more importantly into his music.

I've loved all the Bourbon Springs books so far and this one was also pretty good. The reasons I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it really seemed to drag through too many parts. I got to the point where I felt like it should be wrapping up just to find I was barely half way through it. At that half way point I was glad to finally find out what Mack was dealing with that left him almost bankrupt but felt let down at what it was. Seriously? It felt a bit ridiculous that that scenario could possibly balloon to double the price and force him to contemplate bankruptcy. It felt far fetched to me. That aside, I just really like the other books so I will continue to read the rest of the series as they come out. The characters are all so wonderful and I swear if such a place existed I would want to live there and be friends with all of them, and I don't drink!

I have read this whole series and while this book stands alone. You should read the whole series or at least the novella Litte Treasures before hand as some things that happen in this book start in the novella.

This book stars Mack, a school teacher and former country music star. He is down on his luck, broke, in deby and living with his grandfather. The one thing you can say about Mack is he is a stubborn and hard worker. The book opens at a wedding at the Bourbon plant wehre he is crashing a wedding which he thought was a job interview. At the weddinghe meets the new laywer in town, Jorrie.

Then they run into each other at the store and from there they start spending time together. But Mack is a musician and he can’t stop writing songs. And his dream is to get back to Nashville while Jorrie loves her little town in Kentucky.

This was a fun story with a stalker out to get Mack. I really loved the drama in this story. It brought me to tears and made me totally love this story. I don’t want to spoil anything but this was one of my favorites in the series.

I also totally LOVED Mack’s grandfather and I loved how sweet his love story was as well, especially with a character we have seen throughout the series. We also get to see Preston and Miranda in one scene and I have been dieing for their story since the first book and can’t wait for their book which is coming up next.

Oh to have Bourbon Springs be a real place in Kentucky. With this the seventh book in the series, all the characters feel so much like family and friends who I wish I could visit.

Ms Bremseth has once again created two memorable characters that dig down to your marrow in the feelings they evoke. Mack and Jorrie are two more fine characters to add to the Bourbon Springs family that stay with you long after the story ends. Mack's loving caring nature, brought out in his songs, would be a true treasure to actually be able to hear sing; I imagine his voice sounding very much like Country Music artist Chris Young. Jorrie compliments Mack completely in her giving nature in how she is able to get right to his core nearly from their first meeting.

The songs that Mack has written, are a testament to Ms Bremseth's writing genius...they are poetry that I wish I could hear set to music. I always look forward to her books and characters because I know I'll never be disappointed in the "new" she brings to the table, in this book it was the mysterious Wedding Bourbon brought to light.

Mack is an easily identifiable character. Mack is made up of each and every member of the human race at one time or another. Attempting to make dreams a reality but hitting the requisite roadblocks along the way. Bottle Bluegrass takes me back to some of the most heartbreaking moments in my life however, it also yells out loud and clear "keep pushing forward". Success may not happen on the first try or in the way we want but that is the beauty of life. Expect the unexpected. I received an ARC of Bottled Bluegrass by Jennifer Bramseth in exchange for an honest review. Dreaming big allowed them something to work toward but the tunnel vision caused a disconnect from the blessings that had and for a while they lost sight of the important things. The Bourbon Springs stories are more sweet than sexy. There is a deeper meaning hidden in every love story that resonates in the heart even as the story ends.

Mack Blanton returned to Bourbon Springs, Kentucky from Nashville after being unable to make it in the music business. He meets Jorrie Jones at Old Garnet when he is applying for his old job on the distillery line.

I fell in love with this series from "Secret Blend". The characters were fun. I want to move to Bourbon Springs and work at Old Garnet. I have bought all of the books and LOVED them.

"Bottled Bluegrass" just fell flat. I don't know why. The first book introduced most of the characters for the other six and the characters are in the books. With Mack and Jorrie, they were just people that were mentioned so you didn't get to know them by the time they had their own novel. There is an excerpt from "Toast and Char" and I found that I didn't want the excerpt to end. I am also waiting for Judge Forrest's HEA.

Even after 7 novels and 2 short stories, I still can’t wait to read the next one. Jennifer does a fantastic job of weaving all the books together making you feel like you’re just catching up after being gone awhile. All the characters are true and honest and real and make me wish I lived in a place like Bourbon Springs with neighbors like them.
Mack and Jorrie had me hooked from the very start of Bottled Bluegrass when Mack crashed the wedding and couldn’t leave without everyone knowing he was there. Mack and Jorrie’s instant connection couldn’t be missed. Jorrie convinces a hesitant Mack to sing, a wedding gift for Goose and Harriet, which left many in tears and Mack a little more confident. This book had more than one message, but the one I liked the most, music heals.

Jorrie surprised me, she seemed like a confident lawyer that knew what she wanted but as we got to really know her, we find the same insecurities most of us have. As she navigates staying in Bourbon Springs or moving to the big city, Mack crosses her path. Mack found quick success as a singer in Nashville but then he learned the hard way how fickle the music industry really is. This forces him back to Bourbon Springs with his tail between his legs to live with his dad and rebuild his life. A chance meeting with Jorrie when he crashes a wedding reminds him why he sings in the first place. This is a wonderful journey of two people that help each other find their direction in life, will they also find love?

Another great book from Jennifer Bramseth, she doesn't disappoint. I received an ARC copy of Bottled Bluegrass from the author in exchange for my review. Mack and Jorrie's relationship had many ups and downs, but as always, love won out in the end. You never know what is going to happen in Bourbon Springs! There is always something exciting and humorous happening and a bit of a mystery to figure out too. I really liked the unexpected surprise with Albert, Mack's grandfather. And, as always, we get to catch up with the other characters from previous books. Jennifer makes you feel as if you are right there with the residents of Bourbon Springs, it's easy to get caught up in her stories and I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Tears....there were lots of tears!

This is the most emotional book of the series so far and I loved it! It's my new favourite......at least until I read the next!

Mack and Jorrie are fantastic, they both have demons and it is a heart breaking journey for them before they finally realise they are far stronger together, they need each other to survive and finally find happiness. Once again Bourbon Springs is full of surprises and there is heart break not only for Mack and Jorrie, but for more of our Bourbon Springs family too........I had to stop at one point as the tears were streaming and the words were too blurred to read, however there is also plenty of happiness too to offset this heart break with weddings and babies galore!

Love this series and cannot wait to read book 8

Sexy Mack Blanton is down on his luck. No longer the It Guy on the Nashville country music scene. He's back home and living with his grandfather. Looking for a job (or jobs) to pay off some of his accumulated debt. And he is swearing off women. While job hunting at one of his old workplaces (Old Garnet) he meets Jorrie Jones, a local lawyer. She wants a relationship, he wants to but is not sure he should get involved. The story goes through their developing relationship, all their obstacles and up and downs.

This the perfect next story in the The Bourbon Springs series. I've so enjoyed ALL the books in this series and would recommend them to anyone.

Many thanks to the author for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is Jorrie and Mack's story, and it is helpful, but not necessary, to have read the earlier stories in the Bourbon Springs series, because the author has done a great job weaving the earlier story lines and characters of Bourbon Springs together.

I thought it was probably one of the most romantic stories because Mack, a songwriter and singer, was so inspired by Jorrie that he began to write song after song about her and sang them at public concerts for her. There was also humor, new job opportunities, great ice cream, and danger from a stalker so there is something for everyone!

Ok, I am now a full member of Bourbon Springs. I can smell the distileries and the horse farms as well as the green grasses and flowers. Jorrie and Mack's story made me root for them. I was crying, I was laughing, I wanted to smack both of them.

I love the way you make readers reach into their own emotions as we get caught up in our "siblings" lives. You have truly made me feel like a member of the Bourbon Springs family.

I've been researching trips to the area. This looks like something I could sink my teeth into (at least my taste buds)!

Thank you and keep up the FANTASTIC writing!!

I am in love with this series by Jennifer Bramseth! Each story continues to bring you in to this close knit community. Jorrie and Mack are the main characters in this book, but you are still connected with all the other characters and feel like they are a real part of your life. If only I could find my own Bourbon Springs, Kentucky!!! I received an ARC of this book from the author for an honest review. Please, keep up the work Ms. Bramseth and you will always have a fan!!!

LOVED it!!! Again Jennifer knocks another book out of the park!!! I don't know how to explain it. This book was like being a fly on the wall watching your friends navigate thru their relationship. Mack is such a strong yet vulnerable guy in a situation that people have been in, with of course a HEA. The whole Bourbon Springs residents have become family, and always look forward to another installment. Can't wait for the next book. This is a definite must read!

As the family grows more family members are added to it with their own story...overcoming adversity for the greatest GIFT of all...LOVE. This book is another great addition to the series. You can win it all, but you didn't because you need the final piece. A rise and a fall only makes your next climb better and stronger...especially for everything you love deeply for.
