The wisdom of Bond in this book is helping me become a better copywriter. I am so grateful he took the time to put this tips and tactics together in one place.
Gary Halbert is probably the biggest copywriter ever born, and his son, Bond, is not far behind. I bought this book because both copywriting and proofreading/copyediting are part of what I'm studying right now.
The book is great and I've learned more than a few things that gave me major AHA moments. So many great nuggest here ... if you're writing sales letters, or any type of advertising or promotional material, this book is a must.
My only small critique: for a book on editing, it needs a few extra set of eyes to catch simple enough mistakes: no noun-verb agreement, typos (ant instead of any), leaving in extra words (a an, is ... is, a shot a shot), etc.
Aside from my nitpicking (blame it on the copyediting course I'm taking), a well-worth 5 star rating, because the book is THAT good. The average reader will probably not even notice these proofreading errors.
