Short book highlighting how a seeing-eye dog is trained, and how a blind person is trained to trust their dog. Reading about how Blythe, Connie's new Golden Retriever, can guide Connie to not fall at curbs, go up and down steps, and avoid objects on the sidewalk (such as garbage cans or street signs...or even objects at head height!) made me better understand how valuable guide dogs are! Lots and lots of photographs helped explain the story as well.
