Really, really, really fun read! I thought it would be just a simple classic story of girl loses money and finds money again. But even though it is a short read, there is enough plot for a full length novel. Definitely reminds you not to judge people - or books - by their appearance. The more I read from this author, the more I want to read. I downloaded the rest of the books available in this series to read between breaks at work. Love it!
First book in the "The Poor Ruch Girl" series, The Arabella Academy Chonicles is a very engaging story of a rich high school girl, Eva, and a trouble that suddenly turns her poor. Eva had not known earlier what it meant to be poor, yet she tries her best to cope with it.
Ashley Gallegos, the author, has created characters that are full of life. The book is a very light read that could be finished in one sitting within an hour. I recommend the book to anyone who is looking for a light and refreshing Chick Lit.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book! Not sure I put enough loves there. Seriously! This was the kind of book that you sit up with at night with a warm quilt and a hot cup of cocoa with little marshmallows. It was a feel good collection of mini romance tales of friendship that all intertwined throughout their own happily ever afters. I can see this book staying on my bedside table for the days when things don't go my way and rapidly becoming dogeared from frequent reading. Definitely a new favorite for sure! Highly recommend to anyone who likes fiction, romance, or HEA!
This is something I haven't seen before but I love this author so I was willing to give it a shot. This is basically a book that has been broken down into individual short stories and published as ebooks for each story. Each story definitely holds it's own and has enough plot to be a full ebook. From my understanding, the stories are also entertwined because they are all about how these popular girls from high school survive ten years later. I really enjoyed the Poor Rich Girl. I sympathized with the main character and really felt like I would have done the same things in her shoes. Can't wait to read the rest of them! Just wish they were available at the same time!
