A biography of the blind and deaf woman who rose above her physical disabilities to international renown and who helped other handicapped persons live fuller lives.
I read this book for a project for school and it was the perfect book for any biography project! and is just a great book for reading for fun! I thought this book was a little easy for my skill level and finished it pretty quick. Hellen Keller inspires me and I can imagine other people too. To accomplish what she has done while being disabled is amazing.
Hellen Keller is super inspirational. Being blind and deaf must have been super hard to live life. but she was super brilliant. the ways she lived live with her disabilities was unbelieve able. This book went into deep detail of how she lived life with being blind and being deaf. It also shows Helens point of view in a very detailed way. being a teacher and flying a plane is crazy. especially when you are disabled. most people without disabilities aren't up to those challenges.
I was fascinated with Helen Keller as a kid and, even at a very young age, reading this book made me realize the old cliche that anything is possible no matter the obstacle. And I admired Anne Sullivan so much that she knew she could teach Helen to communicate.
