Tim Vicary is an author and a recently retired university teacher from the university of York, England. His legal thrillers about a tough British barrister, Sarah Newby, have been compared to the works of John Grisham and Scott Turow. The second book in the series, A Fatal Verdict, was awarded a B.R.A.G Medallion for an outstanding independent novel, and the third book, Bold Counsel, was awarded the Awesome Indies Seal of Excellence. He is currently writing a fourth book in the series, entitled Broken Alibi.

His four historical novels have also won praise. Nobody's Slave, a novel about the Elizabethan slave trade, won first prize in the young adult category of the Kindle Book awards 2014. His three other historical novels, Cat & Mouse, The Blood Upon the Rose, and The Monmouth Summer, are all available individually or as a boxed set of three, entitled Women of Courage.

Tim has also written about twenty much shorter books, graded readers for foreign learners of English, published by Oxford University Press. In 2010 and 2011 two of these - Titanic and The Everest Story - were each the winners in their category for the Language Learner Literature Award for the Extensive Reading Foundation.

Tim lives in the English countryside, near York. When he's not writing he likes horse-riding, cycling, and swimming.

I like the Police TV book. It's about people steal others people money near the shop and everyday police look at camera TV near the shop to find out who is the robber. I think this is a good book because it can teach many people that now have many people steal money and you have to be careful about this and I think this is a serious problem. I chose to read this book because there are many pictures so it makes me to understand easier. And I want others people to read and I think others people will like same as me. I spent about 3 days to read it.

This story I found is so interesting because the police officer made an effort to search who is the person stealing money from people near the shop. Everyday, the same case happen. Police officers, Dan and Sue, use TV camera near the shop to find out who is the robber. But, it was not easy to find because there are many people around that place. After arrest two suspect, the police officers known that both of them are a married couple.

Detective short story, easy to read, great for beginners and students. Includes some questions at the end of the story, to make sure you've understood it, and you've paid attention to the action.

4a.Sue and Dan take Linda home. They go into her house. There's two hundred pounds under your bed. This is a nice photo of you and the baby.Dan says Who is the man? It's Peter and I steal. I'm sorry OK? Sue says Not OK. It's not OK at all
4b. At first, Linda said I don't know Peter and I don't steal money, but she admitted her guilty, because she couldn't hide her guilty, because Sue and Dan discovered a picture she was with Peter in. The end is interesting for me.
5 At first, I think this book is just about police drama, but in fact, this has component of comedy. this is fun story.

This is a good book for staters. The vocabulary is easy to understand and get the ideas from the story. However, in my opinion, this story is not interesting much because the situation is not really get the climate.
