This book from my parents' shelf was my introduction to the canon of twentieth century poets. It contains many of my favourites, but the editor's rather reactionary views are so offensive at times that my (anarchist atheist) father felt compelled to reply to many of his remarks in angry pencil! Haha thanks Dad = )
A Level English Poetry Textbook, 1987!!! I got an B Grade, and still have this book as my first proper introduction to some poetry greats including Eliot, Owen, Hughes, Hardy, Dylan Thomas and Yeats
