This book from my parents' shelf was my introduction to the canon of twentieth century poets. It contains many of my favourites, but the editor's rather reactionary views are so offensive at times that my (anarchist atheist) father felt compelled to reply to many of his remarks in angry pencil! Haha thanks Dad = )

A good introduction to the period’s poets. Each poets has an introductory biog and each poem has a short commentary afterwards.

Didn't realize this was a textbook until after I bought it from an old book shop... Oh well.

Really good introductory book, definitely going to look into more from some of the poets in here.

Like others have said, didn't realise it was a textbook!
