Tim is back, after suffering a series of defeats at the hands of his arch-enemy Yorley, he has found a new and unique way to continue his quest for the absolute destruction of mankind. And specifically Yorley. What better way to defeat a woman than to take one over. Follow along as our anti-hero Tim tracks down and obliterates his prey.
I have been done with this book for months now. For the longest time I couldn't force myself to give the rating I really feel it deserves, simply because Mark Tufo and anything Zombie Fallout related is my jam. Sadly the ending felt rushed and forced. Almost like he just wanted to wrap it up and be done with it. The ending left me extremely unsatisfied.
For every hero, there is an arch nemesis and vice versa. Evil Timothy has returned as has his nemesis Yorley. Having believed Timothy dead, Yorley goes off to survive in a world full of zombies. Well, for a while anyway - until Timothy can find her!
Timothy, however, is NOT dead – not by a long shot. He continues his reign of terror while living as a host-parasite with Manny and Scarlet in Scarlet’s body. From here, the fun begins as does the truly evil antics of Timothy. We are privy to why and how he became Timothy and we see the inner workings of his fears, mind and decision process. There is no doubt that Timothy is not one to be messed with for any reason. His mind knows no boundaries, there is nothing this guy won’t do to inflict even the littlest amount of pain.
Scarlet is a stunning woman forced to share a domicile (her body) with vile Tim-Tim as she likes to call him; as well as with Manny who is the virus and keeps their body healthy but dominates Scarlet. Manny only turns control over to his slave, Timothy in order to find food.
This is a very intense book. It is a true Mark Tufo book – a sick, demented, twisted bad-ass guy who has internal arguments laced with sarcasm and the most gut retching bathroom humor which only makes you grow fond of the bad guy!
Rich dialog and vivid descriptions and situations that suck the listener in and holds them hostage until the last second of the audio. The ending will stop you in your tracks! You won’t be able to breathe.
I have always enjoyed Mark Tufo’s books, each and every one of them. I enjoyed the creative twists in this book but … well, I am still struggling with the ending. Timothy is one of those characters that you can’t help but hate yet love too – you want to see him catch a break but then he does something so horribly vile you hope he dies. You keep expecting Timothy to somehow transform into a good guy – it won’t happen but .... one can hope.
Sean Runnette, narrator, does an excellent job! He becomes the characters in the book – he becomes the book itself – he blends into the story so adeptly that one cannot imagine a Tufo book without him. His voice oozes sarcasm, indignation, delight, confusion, fear – all emotions appropriately and with just the right amount. I could listen to Runnette narrate for hours on end. Talented and perceptive – he gets the characters and portrays them verbally providing the listeners with one enthralling listen!
Tim is back, while not quite as big, he's badder than ever and this time he's got an extra passenger that just won't go away. Mark Tufo has given us the ultimate misogynist wrapped up in a self aware 6'5, 250 lb. zombie clown , which is truly horrifying in and of itself. But to makes matters worse, haven't figured out for who yet, Tim, or his very conscious, is now trapped in a woman's body. Yeah wrap your mind around that. Scarlett and her body have been hijacked and to make matters worse(possible spoilers) this new virus is not Hugh, but another who is far stronger and more aware that his brethren with only one need, the overwhelming need to feed. Both Tim and Scarlett are at war in her head as each tries to take control. All the while, Manny, the Z virus, has made a slave of Tim who is fighting to stay in control. While Tim plots to find and exact revenge on Yorley Garcia who killed him the last time he has learned to use this new body to great advantage. And lets face it, Tim likes this new power he has gained of self healing and he likes the power he has garnered through th Z virus. He will do what ever it takes to survive and at the same time learn a little more about Tim. While He plots a way of getting rid of Scarletts' conscious she is also plotting on ways to stop him, learning his weaknesses and in this way you will learn more about Tim and why he is....well Tim. Love the way Tufo incorporated several well known characters into the storyline (most readers will recognize them and/or the names). And it all comes down to one final battle as Tim forces his will on Scarlett and manipulates Manny to his final destination....Yorley. WOW!!! By the way if you are a fan of Sean Runnette and most Tufo fans are, he's incredible in the audio which I picked up as well when I didn't have time to read. He captures Tim to such an extent it I had goosebumps in certain scenes. So beware if you're going to listen to it, it's the stuff of nightmares but a must for all Tufo/Runnette fans
Out of all 3 Tim books this one is by far the best one....I knew what to expect going in, and it delivered 100%!!! Tim is in a woman's body now, which is hysterical to even fathom...his colorful and quite foul language and actions, and new host virus Manny,,,which is way more wicked than Hugh was, made this quite the listening adventure....You can not take this series seriously...its freaky, kinda frightening, and really gross...and I loved this installment...I think it is open for a 4th one...but this could be the end of Tim Tim too....I guess we will have to wait and see...but if you like this series, and have a strong stomach...and find foul language and extremely degrading and outright disgusting behavior from a clown funny, or can open your mind to it...I say go for it...this was a good one...plus it is narrated and written so well...The story flows at the perfect pace and even though I am shaking my head over here and thinking W T F MARK....I really did like it a lot!!!!!
This book is so wrong on so many levels that it adds up to an awesome read. But be warned this book is not for the squeamish or even slightly squeamish. Tim 3 carries on the story of one of the most bizarre and sick symbiotic relationships ever.
Tim 3 continues to expand on this great series and evolves the twisted tale even further. The virus relationship goes to a whole new level with a nice feminine touch. Those not familiar with the Tim serious it gives a very different view on the Zombie Genre.
Mark Tufo takes the gloves off and lets his inner psycho loose on the pages of this book. There is nothing politically correct about what's on these pages, but that's what it is so good about it. So sit back and enjoy the ride and prepare to be grossed out, shocked and mostly importantly laugh yourself unconsciousness. yourself silly.
Some of the things you think of amazed me Mark Tufo. I have read them all. I just wanna say wow.
I love this part. Yorley makes a good point.
“It’s a statistical fact, Tim-Tim, that cars produced on Mondays or Fridays are more likely to have problems. Mondays because, well, it’s Monday and some folks are still suffering the after-effects of a hard partying weekend, and Fridays because of the “I don’t give a fuck” attitude that particular day has inherently built into it. That’s what I’m talking about. You’re not evil Tim-Tim, you’re defective, and defective things need to be repaired. Well, in your case, destroyed because there aren’t enough spare parts to fix you. So all this bullshit people used to spew about good and evil is just that, bullshit. They needed something to blame the defectiveness on. Most just aren’t willing to accept that they are just plain flawed. Too painful to look inwards like that, I suppose.”
Tim is back doing what he does best being a despicable awful soul? Zombie? Human trapped in a zombie?
Anyway I digress Tim is back to being disgusting and bitter, still hunting Yorley because he just cannot let her go as it is the only person who has ever hurt him in a way he can't stand so he is back to stalking her while she doesn't even know or is bothered by him. He just can't get her out of his mind and she is just living there rent free tormenting him which must be the greatest revenge that she doesn't even realise she's inflicted on him.
Another fucked up diamond of a read to make this a trilogy. In a story that will have you asking, "how much do they have to pay Sean to read this stuff out loud?" Tim hunts for Yorley and again encounters Elizas goons. Ties in with ZF 4, 5 and Dr. Hugh Mann.

The biggest asshole of the zombie apocalypse is back, and just as crazy as ever. This time, Timothy is now stuck inhabiting the body of a woman after his previous host was killed. As if it wasn't enough to have the psyco-narcissist running around as his own horrifying clown-faced self, or in the body of a fat kid with a sewn on face, now he has the body of an attractive woman capable of disarming the defenses of those he approaches, not to mention the ability to play with himself and emotionally torture the bodies previous owner still stuck inside. Tim goes on his classic style of rampaging death, eating, torment and record breaking bowel evacuation as he hunts down the only woman to have bested him. As twisted as the story is it is still one of the more original zombie series', and certainly an entertaining one.
"Timothy" series review: As an indictment, I must say that I've gotter through this series three times. I've never made it through the "Twilight" series. This is quite possible the most disturbing and disgusting series ever. And it is brillliant! Timothy is misogynistic to the extreme. He is a survivor. He manages to find a balance with his zombie and human halves. And it's fucking terrifying. I won't do individual book reviews. They would require spoilers. Suffice it to say, a human, an EVIL human, trapped in a zombie's body, and more, is a wild ride. This could never be made into a movie or series without neutering it.
I listened to the audio book, that option not available in edition choices. Narrator Sean Runnette awesome as always. The third in the Timothy series, I hesitate to say it is the most enjoyable.... but it is. This series is a trip. Mark Tufo has the ability to put images into your mind that is hard to shake. The transition in the series from the original character into subsequent characters is executed with perfection. Fantastic horror.
Tim 3 was awesome!! I have never read another book that was as gruesome as this one, and I've been an avid reader for most of my life. Mark Tufo is the bomb!! Steven King look out!! You have nothing on him!!! Buy the book, you won't be disappointed!!!
Hello, weird and gross to the max. Definitely not for people with weak stomachs. Zombie clown, possessed zombie virus, body swapping and all means of crap. Thanks.
Another amazing book by Mark Tufo. Just when I thought Tim couldn't get any worse, Mark proves me wrong. What an awesomely twisted tale. Keep them coming...I'm hooked !
Great 3rd book... as good as the second.... it doubles down on everything from the virus to the how many people can stay in a single mind. The inner dialog is even better than the last books.
Another awesome installment of Timothy. Whatever comes out of Tufo's pen is brilliant in it's simplicity, but incredibly deep. Read everything by the author you can
