It's Saturday.

Best friends Fitch and Chip have big plans in the park. But these plans do not include little sisters.

Chip has three of them -- Honey, Bitsy, and Suey. They can be pests.

They can be scaredy-pants.

Level 3 beginning reader.
Two friends have to interact with Chip's sisters on a play date at the park. The pigs learn to play with the wolf instead of being afraid.

This book would be great for children that are in between picture book and transition books. There are plenty of pictures and the text easy to comprehend. There is some repetition of words that will make it easier for a younger reader to read. This is an adorable book about Chip (a pig), Fitch (wolf), and a planned day of fun at the park. Chip has an easy going personality and does not care if he plans things out or not. On the other hand, Fitch is always planning out every last detail. All the detail were planned out and set into place, until Chip was late and had his three sisters with him (which were afraid of Fitch…WOLF). Then Fitch had to do some recalculating so that everyone could participate in all the activities.

This is a good storybook to help instill the importance of 'surprises' and not having your day 'exactly figured out' and including everyone including younger siblings.

Best friends Fitch a wolf and Chip a pig want to play together but Chip has to bring his 3 little sisters along. Things they had originally wanted to play they can't because 5 can't play them and Fitch reminds Chip that they need to play things to include the girls. A nice story.
