Never Shake a Rattlesnake
Don't teach the bunny rabbits your own disgusting habits. Don't picnic with a python in the park. Everyone knows about saying please and thank you, and not talking with your mouth full. But when it comes to dealing with tiny dogs and hairy chimpanzees, things get a lot more complicated. Rollicking rhymes combine perfectly with Nick Sharratt's trademark witty illustrations in this thoroughly modern look at good behavior.

Some fun ideas, but otherwise this book is all over the place. Some pages rhyme, some don't, some ideas make sense (like shaking a rattlesnake), others have a wannabe Dr Seuss touch to them (high heels on a gnu). Didn't enjoy this at all.

Pages of rhyme.

The illustrations are very cute, though I wasn't sure about the rhyming convention used in this book. Anyone else? Some pages rhymed in perfect sequence, others not so much.
