A good overview of the many ways to think about how subject disciplines, life skills, and cognitive skills can be integrated in K-12 education in order to improve school's relevance and comprehensibility for students. As the book points out, it is far easier to integrate the curricula in a single-teacher classroom. However, the book does provide some guidance for jr high and high school teachers who wish to collaborate on the development of individual units and/or general skill development planning.
