About the author

C.W. Lemoine is the author of the military/espionage thriller novels SPECTRE RISING, AVOID. NEGOTIATE. KILL., ARCHANGEL FALLEN, EXECUTIVE REACTION, BRICK BY BRICK, and STAND AGAINST EVIL.


A Louisiana native, Lemoine is a graduate of the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University in New Orleans. After graduating college, Lemoine joined the Air Force Reserve where he flew the F-16 and accumulated one thousand hours including a combat tour in Iraq.


Lemoine later transferred to the Navy Reserve where he flew F/A-18A+ Hornets.


In 2011, Lemoine received his Instructor Certification in Survival Krav Maga and his Brown Belt in 2012. He is also a Louisiana P.O.S.T. - 1 certified Law Enforcement Officer and former National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certified EMT-Basic.


Lemoine lives in New Orleans with his two rescue dogs Sniper and Kaiser Von Ruff. When he's not flying or writing, he enjoys volunteering with local law enforcement, working out, and running with his two dogs.

Spectre strikes again.

Will Cal & Michelle ever get married?, have a peaceful year?, not get caught up in other peoples mischief?
Who knows?
Whilst they continue to attract danger, it provides superb entertainment for us readers!
Here's looking forward to the next Spectre episode - i just hope it's not in the maternity room!!!

Another Great Thriller

Brick By Brick is another great read in the Spectre Series with a different tack, as Spectre’s “squad” of sorts takes point on multiple fronts to continue the saga. As the fifth installment, it’s a nice change in pace to get more of the story arcs of the supporting casts, with a familiar pace and topic.

Good terrorist-type thriller a la Homeland or 24. It was entertaining enough to keep the pages turning fast. I do not, however, see it being deserving of the 4.7 rating it currently enjoys on Goodreads. Still, if you need something to read at the beach or on vacation, you could do worse.

I hold Mr. Lemoine responsible for keeping me up into the wee hours... his stories are very hard to put down. Will continue with the Sceptre series, then on to whatever else C.W. has written!

I have enjoyed the series so far. Had a small break from Spectre to read other genres. Came back into it with Brick By Brick and couldn't stop. Best book of the series so far. Looking forward to the next one.

This is a follow on novel of another Spectre story, as I remember characters from before. Cal gets into some tuff jams but this one seems like it could be the worst. I love how Lemoine has him fall on his sword and confess to save his love, Decker. Odin is a great group to build a story around, and these guys are true professionals. Another organization like Silkstone’s Primal group. I really enjoy stories like this, whwere the bad guys get what they deserve. 5

Great series

Having read 5 of the series, I look toward to book 6. All of the Spectre books have been enjoyable, easy reading, and entertaining. Keep them coming!!
