Risky and Wild is Book 2...C.M. Stunich writing as Violet Blaze. This is a continuation of Lyric and Royal’s story.
Lyric is the Mayor’s daughter and liaison to the Alpha Wolves MC, in establishing an alliance between the Mayor’s office as a pathway to getting him re-elected, she becomes involved with Royal, the President of the Alpha Wolves MC. Within a three week time-span, these two have declared their feelings and unlike other clubs, she is privy to club business.
Landon was his best friend and his VP. His club found Landon before he did and he tried to reason with him, but he tried to shoot Royal. A case of kill or be killed.
Rebecca and Landon were completely embroiled in activities beyond the club, because of their actions, two prospects were killed and Rebecca’s gone missing.
The club women are not a sisterhood but a group of women fighting for supremacy. Their culpability in allowing Mia (a club girl wanting Royal) and her gang of misfits to distract her guard, leaving Lyric vulnerable and defenceless for her assailants to maliciously mete out an assault, in front of her father’s office.
Mia brutally cut and chopped off her hair as a lesson which the ‘old ladies’ knowingly sanctioned.
Royal not demanding respect for her can be interpreted as her being tested and hazed or that she must prove her mettle. In fact, Lyric impressed me with handling her many challenges with the women.
There is turf war brewing with Mile Wide. Rebecca (Landon’s old lady)
has disappeared, there are dead prospects and two FBI agents investigating and interrogating the death of a third agent (Brent). Lyric’s trust is tested.
Lyric’s trust is tested, will she overcome the conflict between her private, professional and family life...?

This MC book/s is quite a different take to the usual MC romance books and it actually works. It doesn't bend nor bow to MC crap traditions and is quite feminist, (which I salute!) making this whole book a memorable one for me. Took me a long time to connect with the female lead in the first 3 books but when I did connect with her, I adore the shit out of her! I think, CM did a great job with her characters here. She made her readers feel the suppression, the unfairness and the fight the FMCs here fight for. Also, I truly enjoyed the last book about Glacier/Saint. He's my new psychopath book boyfriend now! 😍

I LOVE ROYAL. This series gets better and better. Royal never thought he would have an Old Lady but there is just something about Lyric that he can't shake. Lyric wants Royal but also doesn't wan to lose how she is either. But having the club accept her might be a challenge. What Lyric went thru was brutal and I'm hoping Lyric would get her revenge. Royal and Lyric are perfect together and I can't wait until the next book comes out

I thoroughly enjoyed this second installment of the trilogy. It was action packed. It was well paced. It has an excellent heroine and a totally adoring MC President hero totally besotted with the heroine. There are parts of this story that show real feminism the heroine very concerned for her wants and needs not bowing to the men in the book. We also meet FBI Agent Shelley who is badass, shaved head but hot while she’s at it. There are some nasty plot points but we need them to show character development and relationship development. The hero and heroine are great together and I hardly skimmed the naughty bit!🙃

For me it's really hard to write a review on this book.
I can only say, if you like MC books and everything it entails, then start reading this series.
Guns, blood, BBQ, rivalry...well you have it all.

Just when I thoughtI had an idea of what was going on, things twisted on me and it went in a different direction. Royal and "deputy mayor" have great chemistry together. Wonder if Phillip and Sully are a little more involved in what is going on than they want to admit. Time to find out.

I really liked book one, so of course I read this one.
This one I loved! It was really good.
First off, a British biker. 'Nuff said.
Secondly, the heroine's a kick-ass. It's not easy dating the so-called enemy. You'd think their relationship was doomed, her being the mayor's daughter and him an outlaw.
Nope, they actually make it work. Of course there's a bit of drama here, touch of drama there because that's what makes a plot. I loved that, even though it ends on a cliffhanger - which I'm not a fan of - it leaves us in a pretty good place. It's not abrupt. It doesn't just end and voila, that's it.
Needless to say, I can't wait for the third book, see how much more the characters evolve, how the main characters' relationship develops. I recommend this book to any reader, whether you read MC or not.

P.S. I like the secondary characters and the conflict between them and the main ones. It added an extra oomph to the story. I hate when everything is painted so perfectly, so idyllic. Don't buy that.

Well well well color me surprised!! This book, this second story in this trilogy was so much better. PInt-size aka deputy mayor aka Lyric was much more likeable in this book. Once she started believing in herself and in a real relationship with Royal and quite letting her family and what they want run her life she actually became someone I liked. Royal was as brilliant in this story as the first, he truly loves Lyric. Mia goes even more crazy in this one. There is action, sex, club war, cartels and drama both in the club and out in this book. Definitely a good choice to read on with these set.
Continued characters and story line from book to book so you must read in order. Bigger cliffhanger in this one, good thing book three is already out!

This story picks up right where book 1 ended, and there isn’t anything lacking in this story. You have a hot British bad boy and a seriously strong heroine. While you may think, their relationship can’t possibly last, somehow, they make it work. The story has everything one would ask for in a MC book, angst, danger, guns, and plenty of sex. The character’s evolution and journey was well written and flowed. I am excited to read the next book and ending for Royal and Lyric. Ms. Blaze has such a way with her writing, like I can forget everything else that is going on around me. The characters are somewhat likeable, Royal can be a real douche, though I still love him; I personally have a lady boner for Glacier. I can’t wait to read his story. Another amazing read by Ms. Blaze!

It feels like an age since I read the first one of these and I was a little on the fence about it. I've revisited this couple the last few days and they have definitely won me over. Back to back read books 2 and 3 then Glacier - as Saint was something else and I couldn't wait for his story.
Fun and gritty in places, I would recommend these to other MC fans. Plus I love Stunich - I'll pretty much read what she writes.

I'm not sure how this amazing woman comes up with what she does but she is brilliant !! Plus I get to learn new words to use in my British accent !! This is a must read if you like outlaw men and powerful women !!

an enjoyable three book read. the story was a bit cliched in places but had plenty to keep me interested. great writing style and some very interesting characters. i think the second and third books were a bit stronger and written a bit better. overall .. well worth the read

I don't know how I feel about this book. A lot happened and I don't want to give away all that much. I love Royal, he's great. Lyric...I'm still deciding. I can't wait to read the next book!

Wow Lyric can't seem to stay away from Royal... trouble finds them and Royal can't let Lyric go. Will Lyric and Royal be together or fight their chemistry?
