Dirty, insatiable, dark, murderous, sexy, crazy, loyal, hardened, ripped...these are only some of the words to describe Blaine. After waiting patiently for his story I'm sure you are going to agree with me after reading it that it was well worth the wait and then some. Blaine's story is one of deep pain and torture because of the way he lost his family of fiancée Meghan and her daughter Janey. Blaine and Meghan's relationship was very shaky; it was Blaine’s love for Janey and the idea that he would sacrifice his true happiness for love just to watch out for and take care of that little girl. Let's add to it that Jessa, Meghan's best friend, was really the person that Blaine had an attraction to. Blaine couldn’t cross that line with Jessa because of his love and devotion for Janey and Jessa couldn't do this to her best friend and daughter. It all came crashing down though when one of Blaine’s undercover set ups went wrong with a truly evil low life that took out his family and wanted to take out Jessa too but she was able to get away from him. Jessa had walked into their home finding Meghan and Janey lying dead on the ground. After Meghan and Janey were buried Blaine took off leaving his old life behind which consisted of Jessa and his detective job.
Blaine's family now consisted of the Back Down Devils and there wasn't anything that Blaine wouldn't do for his brothers. Blaine was living the life of an outlaw now because being on the right side of the law brought Blaine nothing but heartache and he had seen firsthand how the law really worked in most cases. So it was the MC life for him which consisted of being a total badass who loved his women and loved them often. Blaine was noted around the clubhouse as being a ladies’ man. He always had some story about his sexcapdes that even made the rest of his brothers shaking their heads wondering to what new level Blaine would take his sexual fetishes. Blaine was not a one woman man any longer now that he turned his life to the outlaw ways.
Jessa stayed in town and became a veterinarian who was still dealing with the trauma of finding her friend and daughter murdered. She felt safe because Vin, the person who murdered Meaghan and Janey was sent to jail but not for their murders. She had a false sense of safety thinking that Vin was put away and wouldn't be able to get to her. Imagine her surprise when she walks into the waiting room at the animal clinic and finds Vin holding a box for her which held a dead cat and a clear message for Jessa that he was coming for her. Jessa panicked and called the only man she thought could help her...Blaine. When the phone number that he had left her didn't work Jessa went to the MC clubhouse to find him in person. Blaine struggled with Jessa's arrival at the clubhouse because his longing for her in his past life was still very memorable but he vowed he left that life behind. Blaine knew that he would have to take Vin out for Jessa's safety and for his own vengeance. Blaine brought Jessa to his own house to keep her away from Vin but maybe Jessa should have been more worried about the new Blaine. It’s crazy what a walk down memory lane does for you when you are scared, angry and have had a little whiskey. Even after their little reunion which they both had wanted for so long, Blaine has news that Vin was killed and has Jessa hit the road. He's not made for one woman and doesn't want to drag Jessa into his dangerous life. That was all great until Jessa ends up pregnant.
With the rival MC gunning for the Back Down Devils, a new police chief in town who would like nothing better than to take them down, Vin's arrival in town, very much alive, Blaine has no choice but to bring Jessa into his protection especially when he finds out he is going to be a dad. How much does this all change our womanizing Blaine, if at all and how the hell does a veterinarian now fit into Blaine's life? Would she be better off leaving town and Blaine behind to get away from Vin in order to protect her precious baby and realizing this isn't the same Blaine that she once knew? As far as the club is concerned will they be able to deal with the rival Under Eight MC with Vin at the helm pulling strings with cartel backing?
If you don't like violence with a whole lot of hot sex don't read this but if you want a great story about a very hot and dangerous biker you definitely will have to make this book a top priority. But be prepared to have some time set aside because this book is one you won't want to put down. Another great hit for Ms. James.

I was graciously gifted and ARC and as usual London Casey style, she delivered another hit! I knew Blaine's story would be twisted and it was. I seriously thought at one point there would have been a "third" thrown in there at some point and I was both relieved and disappointed, lol.

I've been anxiously waiting for this book. I've been captivated by Blaine since the series beginning with Outlaw Revenge. I've been dying for his story and wondering how any woman could ever match him in veracity, loyalty and sheer audacity. From start to finish Viper's Kiss was a book that I could not put down.
I always figured Blaine had secrets, but no way would I have guessed about his tragic past. He went from a protect and serve officer of the law to a bad arse biker outlaw after his family was murdered. He walked away from everything and found a new family within Back Down Devil. He also left behind Jessa the girl who had a secret fascination with him even though he was her best friend's fiance. He lost himself in club business and fast women and he buried the pain and guilt until an old enemy comes back to threaten everything he loved. His club. His woman. And his child.
Let me just say that this one had all. It had every one of the signature aspects of this series. The plot was loaded with action, sex and surprise twists. Blaine was the perfect anti hero. He made a few mistakes but then we had to knew he wouldn't be easy to tame. Jessa was a strong woman who wasn't afraid to get down and dirty or smack a few skanks around over her man. They were explosive together like fuel to the flame.
Viper's Kiss was an amazing story ! I simply can't say enough good things about this series only that I hope it continues because I am not ready for the end.

I received this book in an exchange for an honest review. Main characters are Jessa and Blaine. They both lost people they cared about that they both knew. Time passed and they see each other again because Jessa needs his help. I've seen so many good reviews about this book and it has me wondering if I read the same book they did. No offense but I had a hard time continuing to read this book a lot of things really pissed me off and annoyed the hell out of me too. There were parts that really didn't make sense to me either. I'm sorry but I was very disappointed by this book I expected more because of the blurb. This is just my opinion you can all decide to give the book a try if you want it's completely up to you.

Viper’s Kiss, the latest book about the Back Down Devil MC is raw, hot, sexy and touching. In the past Back Down Devil MC books, Blaine has been crass, vulgar, and came across as a total dirty old man; I must say I wanted to take a bat to him and shut him up. But leave it up to Karolyn/London to tell his story in such a way that I eventually did fall in love with the b*****d. It only proves that everyone hides behind a mask and one must look deeper for the truth. I was graciously gifted a copy of this book for an honest review. This is a new author for me and I haven't read any of the previus books in this series, but with that being said I am going to go back and read them.. Even though I didn't read books 1-7, I wasn't lost with the characters, and it was easy to follow. This book centers around a club member Blaine who at first I really didn't know if I was going to like him, but as I found out more about him, he grew on me. The heroine of this story Jessa, she witness so horrific that she didn't pursue a career path in medicine, but became a vet instead. She has always been attracted to Blaine but never acted on it due to the fact that he was once engaged to her best friend, but when a threat from their past comes back Jessa could only turn to Blaine for help. Blaine and Jessa work to get over their respectiveguilts over past actions that rezulted in things that they have had absoljtely no control over. This book has it all action, dirty talking bikers, and great sex scences. I am excited to read the other books.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that Blaine would finally settle down, even if he did it in his own way!!! His past caught up to him when they released the killer of his fiancé and stepdaughter. The only witness, Jessa, had come to him after the killer, Vin visited her and threatened her. Jessa hated Blaine but had no choice but to ask for his protection. She never thought that they would end up sleeping together or getting pregnant. We have listened to Blaine's sexual innuendos for this entire series. He has made me howl with laughter to the point of tears with me sometimes snorting. Only Jessa could have been the one to tame him. He would do anything to protect her, including giving his life. So much was going on in Frelan; new chief, stronger Eight Under MC in cahoots with Vin, and the Cartel. What will happen? Will Blaine survive? Will he see his child born? So many changes!!! What a great addition to the BDD series!!!!!!

This is Blaine's story. He is a bad-ass biker who was once a detective/cop and fell to the other side of the tracks. He loves women and the women love him - he makes no promises it is all just sex. There was a time he had a family (his fiance, Meghan and her daughter) but they were killed now he wants revenge but Vin the man who committed the crime is locked up. Jessa, Meghan's best friend, saw the murders and barely escaped being killed herself. She has moved on the best she can now working as a veterinarians' assistant but she is always looking over her shoulder waiting for the day that Vin gets out of prison. Vin comes after Jessa so she contacts the Back Down Devil's MC looking for Blaine hoping for his protection. This story has hot and sometimes raunchy sex, hot passion and biker love as well as good, bad and ugly situations. I loved this book as much as all the others in the “Back Down Devil MC” series.

This review is for Viper's Kiss by London Casey and as always Miss. Casey doesn't disappoint. After reading a little bit about hot, sexy Blaine in Miller's story, I couldn't wait and imagine what London would wright about the biggest man-whore in all the members of the Back Down Devil MC. I always thought Blaine had a past full of demons and that was part of why he was so rude and bold, but not in my wildest dream I would had thought about all the tragedy in his early life. He lost himself in club business, women, drugs and alcohol until the past catch up with him again in the form of a beautiful, sassy, curvy woman name Jessa. But......No Spoilers here! You must by this book it is worth it!!!!

Blaine & Jessa, wow, just wow. Blaine is a over-the-top in your face alpha biker with the Back Down Devil MC. He calls all women 'beautiful' & has no filter & plays the field several times a day. There is a reason for his actions, his almost family was murdered & he's had feelings for Jessa for a long time. Jessa feels guilty that she didn't get to her friend in time. She saw them murdered and the murderer pretty much got away with it. Once he's free he comes for Jessa and she reaches out to Blaine to protect her. Feelings that never went away ignite between them but she still feels guilty because he was her best friends fiancee. This is another great chapter with this fantastic MC written by the wonderful London Casey. Read all of the books, you won't be disappointed.

I have to say that so far when i was thinking of Blaine i always thought that his book would be funny and twisted and filled with Blaine fucking chicks...
Well i can tell you that we do get Blaine fucking chicks and there were parts that were funny but also this book was deep.
We got to see him totally different and we saw many sides of him that we didn't know.
I love this character!!!!
Once again we have a great book that is a fantastic addition to the BDD series.

Blaine is a member of the Back Down Devil MC and loves to live on the edge. Jessa is dedicated to her job and does her best to avoid any real connection with people. When Jessa is threatened by the murderer who killed her best friend and her best friend’s daughter the only person she know to run to is Blaine. The attraction Blaine and Jessa had is still there and after a little too much to drink and needing to forget the pain of their loss, Blaine was her friend’s fiancé and she always had been attracted to him, they have a wild night of steamy sex. This is a great MC read with sexy alpha males and lots of drama and suspense the chemistry between Jessa and Blaine is off the charts hot. Excellent Read!

Never a dull moment, takes your attention from the beginning. After reading about crazy Blaine in Miller's story I couldn't wait to read how this manwhore will be tamed, who know it would back a blast from his past, the best friend of his dead fiancee. Blaine and Jessa both went through tough time with the double murder of a mother and her daughter that Jessa happens to discover that Blaine blames himself on. There will be a lot of roller coastering or feelings, actions and will justice be finally be served to the sick person that is looking to clean up his lose ends.....

"All that lingering emotion between them boiling over." Wahoo! Blaine's story, finally! Book 8 of standalone stories and each one progressively gets better and better. "We're all a family. A bunch of dysfunctional asshole outlaws.". Blaine gets his revenge and finds the love of his life. She was always there, he just didn't give himself the chance to see if it would work because of their history. Now she needs him and neither one can say no. "Blaine took her by storm and had her hand tight in the craziest ride possible.". Not one to be missed. Enjoy! I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I've been waiting for Blaine's story. I knew it would be raunchy & twisted. London Casey did not disappoint. After losing his family from being on the right side of the law, he turns "outlaw" and joins the MC. He's a man whore with a strong sexual appetite. Can one woman satisfy him? Obviously he & Jessa have a history and it was a good plot. They are caught between the past & present fueling their attraction. This is another well written addition to the BBD MC. Ms Casey weaves stories that are addictive, hot, raw, intense & I'm looking forward to the next book in the series featuring Trev.

Oh my!!!! Absolutely fantastic! Blaine is the ultimate bad boy that you just have to love! He's bold and tough and takes nothing from anyone. Jessa is a strong woman that pushes at Blaine and their interactions are great! They are so hot together and have such a deep connection from the shared loss in their past. This is such a great read, it's a must on your to be read list!!

I absolutely loved this book! Blaine had his world shocked and went from cop to outlaw. Jessa is a blast from his past who now needs his help when a person from their past is after her. Blaine is crass and yet Jessa is drawn to him even though she thinks she shouldn't because of their connection. For Blaine Jessa just may be what his life has been missing, but can he let go of the past and the anger? I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I have been waiting for Blaine's story and I have to say it did not disappoint. Something in Blaine's past made him the way that he was....dangerous and unable to commit to more than a one night stand. When his past catches up with him, will it take him down or will he rise above it and survive? I loved finding out. Cannot get enough of the guys from Back Down Devil.

Viper's Kiss was everything I wanted with Blaine's story!! It was amazing how much depth Blaine had inside himself other then being a disgusting man whore on the outside. Don't get me wrong he is still the same Blaine but we get to see the soft inner core. I do wish we would have got more interaction with the "old ladies" of BDD leaders in this book.

If you had told me I would fall in love with Blaine, the most obnoxious dirty pig of a man, I would have laughed hysterically. That, however, is exactly what happened!
I knew there had to be a tragic past for Blaine to make him try to leave reality with booze and sex. Turns out his family was murdered years ago. Although he wasn't in love with his fiancee, he loved her young child as his own. He really loved his fiancee's best friend, Jessa. When she enters his life again with bad news, things heat up between them.

Blaine's book was so good I kept hoping the next book to come out would be his and it finally came. Blaine and Jesse do not disappoint hard to put this book down.
Blaine's book was so good I kept hoping the next book to come out would be his and it finally came. Blaine and Jesse do not disappoint hard to put this book down.

HOLY MOTHER MARY OF GOD!!!! DAMN WHAT A BOOK!!!! 100 STARS!!!
What did London Casey do? I don't normally like to read a book if I have not read the books that come before it even if they are stand alone!! But London asked me to read her book "Viper's Kiss" and I told her I would do it. I am at a loss for words, and normally after a reading a book I am not lost for words. This book almost did me in! Whew.......I was having hot flashes by the time I got through just a few chapters!!! I laughed, I cried, I got mad, I wanted to kill with them....actually I wanted to jump in the book and help Back Down MC beat the shit out of their rivals and the others messing with them. I will not tell you what I wanted to do to Ethan!!!!! It is not nice! Ethan got on my nerves! AWESOME book and everybody must read it. I can honestly say that even though I was asked to read this book, I did not receive an ARC free book. I bought my own copy!!!!! And trust me when I say it will be read more than once!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my first time reading a book by this author and I am so glad it was this one. This book was great. I couldn’t put it down for anything. Blaine is a former cop that became an outlaw. He loved all women and was is a huge flirt. He could speak and women would fall at this feet. Blaine had a pass though, a very painful pass. Now Blaine was having some of his past come back and haunt him. Jessa loved working with animals. She had wanted to be a doctor but could not even stand the thought ever since her best friend and her best friends little girl was murdered. Now standing before her is Vin the man that murdered them. She knows the cops won’t help and has no one else to turn to except for Blaine. The chemistry that these 2 have is awesome. I can’t wait to see what happens next with these guys. If you love reading about MC then you need to read this one.
