Pulp novel featuring the Shadow. This is acknowledged as one of the best in the series, not the least due to Grant weaving the majority of the supporting cast into the story. There is a returning villain and a crafty death trap that add to the fun. Recommended!

This story is a sequal for the first The Shadow novel called "The Living Shadow". The villain is released from prison and continues his criminal career.

When it comes to pulp heroes there are 2 or 3 great standouts and the Shadow is one of those. The stories are fast paced and action filled. The mystery just adds to the excitement. With his army of agents to help the Shadow never lets you down for a great read. Highly recommended
