I think these picture mysteries are great examples to teach deductive reasoning. I wish they weren’t about adult crimes but would use them on class.

Rather pedestrian fare if I do say so myself. Sherwood Hawk may be a detective, but the way that he comes to conclusions, knowing that someone works at the docks because of a fleck of green paint on their glasses rim is pretty ridiculous, even for a kid's book. Give the kids some credit, would you Sherwood?
