This is like eye candy for the pyrex collector. What is it about pyrex? I love the nostalgia of it, and that it makes you think of comfort food.

history of pyrex products with eye to approximate value to collectors...abundant photos include many advertisements throughout the years, plus welcome identification of some patterns...emphasis on what items cost when sold new is not helpful without some context (if a pyrex item cost 59 cents some remote year it would be helpful to know the cost of a loaf of bread or gasoline or a newspaper or car, etc that same year for some context and/or in current dollars), also many typos detract from authority; overall valuable resource for anyone who admires pyrex

It's definitely missing a lot of info, but there's still many helpful charts and photos! Plus, it's just fun to look at. I read it cover to cover.

There is a lot of information in this book about pyrex. Very cool book to look at.
