Logan had reasons for acting wild in his youth, but he still regrets the way he treated Amy. Especially once he’s sharing an office with the smart, self-controlled beauty. For one thing, she’s got a wicked sense of payback. For another, he’s realized there’s something he wants much more than a promotion. I always try really hard not to write mad, ranty reviews but I'm afraid it was a bit of a close run thing with this book. I did have to wait a couple of days after finishing to give myself a chance to calm down. There wasn't anything particularly bad about the book, it's just that it successfully managed to hit almost every one of my personal pet peeves at a time when there were a lot of other things that had awakened my rage monster.

The story is actually based on a pretty good idea. Things are looking good for realtor (estate agent) Amy. Her career's going well and she's looking to make partner when her boss brings in someone new who, as the owners nephew, could steal her promotion out from under her. What makes it worse is that Logan is the boy who used to bully her in school but moved away while they were still young. He doesn't seem to remember her but she can't forget all of the terrible things he did to her and decides to get payback. She won't let him steal the promotion she's worked for but now they are both older she can't help but feel an attraction.

Logan does remember Amy even though it's been a while but pretends he doesn't as he's attracted to her and feels guilty about how he treated her. He's willing to take whatever she's dishing out if he can spend more time with her.

This had a lot of potential to be a really great story. I thought it would be funny and cute as Amy played tricks on Logan to try to get him back but actually she came across as really immature and the humour that should have been there was completely absent.

What made it worse was that there were a number of things I just didn't like about Amy. It just didn't make sense that she would be so angry after all of this time over some pretty minor jokes when they were kids. I personally would have spent more time focused on my work than playing stupid jokes to get someone back for what they did as a child. He comes across as a genuine guy who makes sure she gets the credit for everything but she still sets about sabotaging him at every opportunity.

I also didn't agree with a lot of her views, like how she's very proud of toting a hand gun around in her purse everywhere she goes. Apparently being a realtor is really dangerous so she needs it to protect herself (really???). I have no objection to being safe but I don't think having a gun on your person is the best way of going about this (I'm anti guns though). I didn't like that fact that she went out and got drunk then thought it was ok to drive home (???) and that she ends up looking after a dog and puppies but leaves them locked in a room alone most of the time. Finally she claims to be career focused but then because she's a woman she dreams of meeting the right man and getting married. God forbid a woman be happy on her own.

Sorry I've wandered into rant territory despite my best efforts.

Logan, I'm afraid to say wasn't much better and I couldn't find the attraction. He seems to spend most of his time thinking about how beautiful she is and how much he wants to sleep with her. Maybe that's all guys do think about but it gets a bit boring to read.

Possibly the worst thing though is that there's just no spark between them. I didn't buy their relationship at all and didn't feel any real emotion or passion from them. As a result the whole thing was just a bit dull and boring. There is a bit of action towards the end but I'm sorry it just seemed a bit ridiculous and wasn't really explained well. It felt a bit thrown in at the last minute to add a bit of excitement.

Overall, I don't think this book was for me. It does get a lot of good reviews though so as I say I think it just hit on a lot of my peeves.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Sorry I couldn't give a better one.

Amy Walker was bullied as a child by a boy named Logan Miller. Now they are adults and Amy is looking to become a partner in the real estate firm she works for. She has brought in a lot of business and has made her company a lot of money since she started. The only problem is the boss has brought in his nephew and most likely he will be given the chance of being a partner. What makes matters worse is the nephew is Logan.

Logan remembers Amy and in fact has agreed to join his uncle firm in order to work with her. He has matured over the years and is no longer the child who was mean to her. Maybe they will both be able to get past their history and see if they have a future together.

For a short book I found it to be completely entertaining. I did not feel like the story line was rushed or that anything was left out. I did not connect very well with the characters but the story line was interesting enough to keep me reading.

I RECEIVED AN ADVANCE ELECTRONIC COPY OF THIS BOOK FROM THE PUBLISHER THROUGH NET GALLEY IN EXCHANGE FOR MY HONEST REVIEW!

After reading Unlucky in Love, I was surprised to see this one come available so quickly, but was rather surprised with it overall.

Amy was a sweet woman who had been tormented by Logan in her childhood. At first, she sought to get revenge for those torments, but revenge eventually turned to romance. I liked how strong and independent she was, and how she actually used her brains rather than her looks to get ahead in her job.

Logan was quite the hero here, allowing Amy to take her revenge on him with good natured humor. He also didn’t try to undermine her too badly at work, and wound up actually becoming a good partner for her overall.

I liked watching their romance unfold, against the backdrop of preparing for Aiden and Kristen’s wedding from the previous story. Things felt realistic, but my major complaint was that things at the end felt very abrupt, to the point where it jarred me out of the story. It was an interesting way to spend a few hours when I can't sleep, though!

New Life!!!

Amelia Walker, Amy to her friends and loved ones was a real estate agent. She has been praying to make partner for months, just when she thought her dreams were at her reach. Her worse nightmare walked back into her life, aiming to snatch her dreams away.

Logan Miller was a bully, a true hellion when he was younger, he loved tormenting Amy Walker. When he moved away, she couldn't be happier. Now he was back in town and working at the same firm as Amy. Logan had a goal to achieve and he was going to succeed, come what may.

Amy wasn't pleased to see Logan even though the man grew up to be sexy as sin, she tried to keep her attraction for him in check. It was hard, but Amy was determined. She wanted to give Logan what he richly deserved for his years of torments.

Yet all Logan wanted to do was get to know Amy better and show her that he wasn't the young prick who had tormented her anymore. No matter what, Logan was determined to win Amy over.

As Amy and her best friend, Kristen Collins put their plans in motion. The former started to see a side of the man, she never knew existed. All Logan could think about for years was seeing Amy again, in order to make things right.

Logan finally let Amy know the real reason why he was harassing her when they were growing up. Like any boy who liked a girl when he's young and didn't know how to tell her, Logan picked on Amy. He masked the hurt he felt for years with pranks.

As Amy and Logan's relationship started to grew stronger, the latter was atill scared about marriage as well as the former. But Amy still dreamt about walking down the aisle, the question was would it be with Logan.

In a split second they nearly lost their chance at happiness, when Logan found himself in grave peril. It was a pleasure to see Amy having an opened mind regarding Logan. After all the hurtful things he did to her in the past, she still put her heart on the line and let him in.

SWEET RESOLVE was about second chances and making amends. Jill Sanders captured the beauty/essence of Logan and Amy's journey perfectly.

The turmoils both Amy and Logan faced when it came to giving their heart completely was well done. In the end, they chose love over fear and they got more than what they'd wished for. 5++++

4 Stars!

One of my favorite things to do is to curl up on the couch with a blanket, drinking tea, and reading a nice sweet book…no angst, no crazy drama, just a sweet love novel. When I’m in the mood for one of these days, I like my Jill Sanders’ books. She is the queen of sweet and Sweet Resolve delivers for me.

Amy and Logan have known each since childhood, but it wasn’t in the nice way. Logan was a terrible bully. He tortured Amy every day until he moves away. Years later, Amy finds herself working with Logan. Amy is hard to forgive and forget, but Logan regrets how he treated her. Amy decides to bestow a little revenge on Logan; in meantime, he is trying to earn her forgiveness. The more time they spend together the more they both realize they aren't the children they used to be. They have both grown up. Can Amy forgive Logan? Can Logan give Amy her happy ending?

Amy has the best heart. Even when she is hating Logan and trying to carry out her revenge on him, she’s actually still nice to him. She feels bad and questions what she is doing a lot, which I can understand because Logan is such a sweetheart! He knows he made a mistake when he was young and is trying to make up for it. Logan had rough childhood and he was just a boy when he bullied Amy; a boy who didn’t know how to be around a girl he liked. So I forgave Logan very early on and I knew Amy wasn’t going to be able to resist his charm.

The best part about this book is the build up to their relationship. This is where Jill Sanders really succeeds. She knows how to describe that innocent beginning stage where a relationship is blooming; the time where you like each other, but you’re not quite dating. It's about the small things, the innocent flirting. It’s all new and there are butterflies in your stomach from a simple touch. Jill Sanders has got that down! I could feel the butterflies forming as Amy and Logan fell in love. It was quite beautiful . There wasn’t a lot of drama and they talked most of their issues out..

“Amy Walker, I’d go through heaven and hell to be with you. I want to grow old and raise puppies and kids with you. With you next to me, I’d be the luckiest man alive. Will you marry me?”

Such a happy ending! Like I said, just a sweet and easy read.

ARC Review: Sweet Resolve (Lucky) by Jill Sanders

It's easy to get lost in a Jill Sanders story. Her characters are so realistic, that it's not a stretch for a reader to picture themselves in the same situation. Sweet Resolve relates the story of Logan and Amy. Success is Amy's ultimate goal. Just as she is on the verge of conquering her greatest achievement, a familiar face puts a monkey wrench in her plans. Logan is the last person she wants to see. Her childish tormentor, has come to reek havoc on her adult life. Or has he? Sweet Resolve is an adorable story. Ms. Sanders story of maturity, forgiveness and romance takes a subject that we all experienced within our youth and turns it into a nostalgic romance about moving on. For the kid in us all.

Sweet Resolve is the second book in the Lucky Series by Jill Sanders. Amy is a successful realtor and is hoping to someday very soon make partner at her job. Her job, and her life, and going great and then one day Logan Miller, the boy who used to tease and prank her relentlessly in her youth, joins the company and Amy must now share her office with her childhood arch nemesis. With the help of her best friend Kirsten, Amy finds creative ways to pay Logan back for the things he did to her when they young, all the while trying to fight her newfound attraction for adult Logan. They soon embark on an office romance though Amy still wonders if Logan could truly have feelings for her or if this is just another Logan prank.

The last romance novel I read prior to this book really let me down, but Sweet Resolve was able to turn my frown upside down. I enjoyed the heck out of this book! If I had to describe it using only one sentence I would describe it as a fun and flirty summer read. I know the book isn’t really related to summer at all other than being released in June, but it’s one of those short and sweet romances you just completely escape into and can easily read while spending a couple hours on the beach or laying in your backyard hammock. The book isn’t weighed down by diverging plot line fluff, its sole focus is on Amy and Logan. And the chemistry between Amy and Logan was nothing less than sizzling hot.

I always enjoy a novel where the female lead is an independent successful woman with brains and that is what Amy was. And while she may have had some doubts about marriage because of her parent’s failings, she didn’t let that turn her into a cynical hater of all marriages which is a trait I also can’t stand in female characters. Sander’s gave Amy a wonderful overall personality and it was refreshing to read. And as for Logan, he was everything you want in a romantic interest. Other than good looks, he was also smart but he was also kind and understanding, a bit of a jokester, and a family type man and a dog lover. He was also determined to change Amy’s previous opinion of him. What’s not to like?

The pacing of the book was also really good, it never felt like the book was dragging on too long or moving too fast, or becoming sidetracked. It was just right. My jaw dropped at the book’s climax and I felt kind of blindsided at first. But when I sat back and thought about it after, Sander’s had given some clues that this type of event was going to happen. That is the most I can say about that without going into some major spoilers which is unfair when you’re reviewing a book that hasn’t been released yet.

My only “complaint” if I have to have one is that I’ve finished reading it. Overall I give this book four enthusiastic stars!

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley.com

Sweet Resolve is the story of Amy Walker, a successful real estate agent, who has quickly turned around a flagging real estate business in her home town in the Colorado Rockies. She has her sights set on a partnership with the agency owner, Gary, until his nephew, Logan, joins the business. Not only does Logan appear to be in line to make partner, but he's also the kid who made her life hell in middle school.

This was a quick read and pleasant enough. The writing style is a little simplistic, often just stating what is happening in the scene without much more depth. This makes some of the characters feel flat although the main two characters become a bit more fleshed out as the book moves on and are ultimately pretty likeable.

Their relationship as children forms the basis of tension between Amy and Logan. With him tormenting Amy over everything from her height to her parent's divorce. Ultimately, Logan leaves their home town and Amy doesn't hear from him again until he turns up at her office. The childhood conflict was an interesting theme but it felt like it was never really explored, at least not as much as I would've liked. We learn some of the the things Logan did, at least early on in the story. Some of which were fairly cruel! We also get to know some of his motivations but it's not expanded upon enough which is a shame as it probably would have added an extra layer to Amy and Logan's burgeoning relationship. It ends up feeling pretty inconsequential and it felt like their relationship developed as though they were just two work colleagues who'd fallen for eachother. I enjoy romances where the two leads are just regular people allowing themselves to fall in love, with all of the trepidation and uncertainty that goes along with it, so I enjoyed the development of their relationship anyway.

Amy and Logan have good chemistry as a couple. Amy is independent, accomplished and poised and Logan similarly driven but sweet and supportive. He enjoys seeing her let loose which is a nice touch and they make an appealing couple that you want to root for. I enjoyed their romance enough to keep me reading until the end. In the latter third of the book there's a bit of a reemergence of clunky writing (we're told that one very minor character drinks water because she's a singer and has a performance later which is pointless), but overall, this is a satisfying read, not bad, but not particularly memorable. This is my first book by Jill Sanders and I'd read more.

This is the second book in the Lucky series and this story centers around childhood enemies meeting in adulthood, and really getting to know each other for the first time, and seeing how actions can be misconstrued when you are not in possession of the total picture.
Amy endured a miserable time in school because of what she perceived as the loathsome actions of the school bully in the form of Logan, while at home there are far-reaching changes taking place. She credits her best friend Kirsten (main character in Unlucky in Love ) with providing her the fortitude to make it through those years. She is now a successful realtor who has helped her boss to restructure his business to become a more viable and recognizable name in the industry. Enter Logan, just as she is poised for a promotion that she believes and fears is threatened by his very presence. She has now grown some backbone and has decided to fight for what she wants. What ensues is a hilarious come-uppance for Logan and the realization that she was not in possession of the motivation behind his childhood pranks.Logan's ex's actions were a bit over the top and superfluous to the whole plot considering how they parted. There is a nail-biting situation towards the end, but as in all true romances, we hope love prevails.
While I do not condone bullying in any form, I can understand where Logan's thoughts were during that period of his life, recognizing that he was still a child, needing guidance that was not forthcoming. Both Logan and Amy had less than ideal childhoods but were able to become productive, decent individuals despite all that.
I loved the seamless ways Amy was able to carry out her revenge on Logan and only wished he had suffered a little bit more because of them. I was also looking to see Amy get an opportunity to use her weapon in defense of love, but alas, no such luck..
Again, we have here a situation where our misconceptions can cause a lot of unnecessary grief and heartache, and we are reminded to get to the root of the cause before passing judgement. This was a quick, relaxing ,free read provided by NetGalley.

Sweet Resolve, was my first read by Jill Sanders. I can't believe I haven't read any of her books before now. I loved Sweet Resolve. It was a great, and quick read. One anyone will enjoy. The comedic banter between Logan and Amy is fantastic.

Amy Walker, has known Logan Miller through her childhood. She couldn't go a day without him. It wasn't the friendly crush, no he had to be the one she hated. All the way up into junior high, Logan had to be the bully of anyone's nightmare. He was relentless in tormenting Amy through and through. She only found relief when he finally moved away leaving her in peace. That is up until fourteen years later.

Logan, knew of the girl he once pulled her pigtails wouldn't trust him with an inch of his life. He knew he couldn't get her out of his head now or back then. Once things for sure he wasn't running away again.

Both were young when they hated each other. Both have grown up, either of them will admit their past encounters, but how long will that last given they end up co-workers?

The writing in this book is sweet, romantic and with lots of comedy, there is some sexual content that is romantic and throughout it is told in a third person narrative.

I give, Sweet Resolve, four stars. You will not be disappointed, give Jill Sanders a try. If you're familiar with her work, don't miss out on this next favorite of hers.

thanks to netgalley and Montlake publishing for my arc.

this is second book of the lucky series. I wondered from first book what would happen to Amy, Kristen's best friend.
it starts with Amelia's childhood where she was mortified by a boy named Logan Miller. Logan made her adolescent years miserable and some of her miserable memories remained with her.
after fourteen years, Amy faces Logan at her work. she was moving up in her RMR and ready to ask for her partnership. however Logan shows up and she is stirred.
both knew who they were but kept that to themselves. both were testing the waters as if they remembered each other, so Amy and Kristen makes a revenge list.
Logan took the job with his uncle to work specifically with Amy. he wanted to make it right with her. he wanted to show her he has changed and make sure to ask for forgiveness.
at first Amy couldn't wait to give him everything back to him but she was warming up to him. he was different Logan from adolescent age. he was really trying.
story was sweet and cute. but it did have some surprises at the end. it was fun read. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys romance.
I did enjoyed reading her books.

Did anyone ever tell you when you were younger that the boys that bothered you and picked on you really liked you? Well, someone should have told Amy because that is exactly what was happening to her back in middle school. Logan was the person that made Amy's life miserable when she was younger and she was the happiest person when he finally moved away.

Fast forward countless years and Amy is working her way into becoming a partner at the Real Estate firm she works for, that is until the owner brings in his nephew Logan Miller to work for the firm. Logan knows he needs to make it up to Amy for all of the horrible things he did to her when they were kids but now Amy is going to inflict her own revenge and hopefully cause Logan as much pain as he had caused her.

The chemistry was great and I always enjoy the sweet romances that Jill Sanders writes and this one didn't disappoint at all. I also loved that we got to see Aiden and Kristen from Unlucky in Love.

What an engaging and fun read! Sweet Resolve by Jill Sanders is the second book in her "Lucky" series, and it can be truly enjoyed as a standalone.

Real estate agents Amy Walker and Logan Miller have known each other since childhood. During their school years, Logan tormented and bullied Amy relentlessly. In fact, one of the happiest days in Amy's life was when Logan moved to another town. After some years a part, they are now working together at Logan's uncle's agency. Logan wants to make amends, while Amy seeks revenge. Spending so much time together in the workplace changes their relationship, as they get to know each other and eventually fall in love.

I really liked this interesting and sometimes tender romance. Ms. Sander's writing style is fluid and easy to understand. Her characters are amazingly genuine and full of liveliness. I connected to Amy and Logan both as individuals and as a couple. Logan ends up being the ultimate boyfriend, with his honesty, good-looks, and skills in the bedroom. Amy's ability to forgive and let go of the past is humanizing. This is a well-written romance with a bit of suspense, that twists and turns in all the right places.

**I read an eGalley, which I received from the publisher through Netgalley.

Disclaimer: I love HEA romances, that are not too heavy on the drama, and filled with lots of laughs. THAT is exactly what Jill Sanders delivered in Sweet Resolve. This book focuses on the romance between Amy and her childhood nemesis, Logan. Initially, Amy is seeking revenge, and makes a list of ways to repay Logan for all his past misdeeds. As she gets to know the grown up Logan, she changes her mind.

These two made me sigh and "awww" too many times. I loved them together. Logan was a great hero, and I admired his persistence. There was just enough drama and conflict to keep the story interesting without detracting from how much fun these two were having together. And we even get puppies!!! All the interactions with the dogs were adorable. I must also add, that although this book is very short, Sanders did a great job of giving me a complete story. Normally, I feel a little cheated with novellas, but this was very satisfying.

I will definitely read more books from this series.

I am a huge fan of Jill Sanders. Sweet Resolve is the second book in the lucky series. It can easily be read as a standalone. I didn't read the first book in this series, prior to reading Sweet Resolve and had no difficulty following the story.

Jill Sanders writes an engaging and sweet read. This book is easy to pick up and put down at your leisure.

A typical young boy, who wanted a girls attention, Logan tormented Amy throughout her adolescence, in order to get her attention. They reconnect as adults, and are forced into a close proximity both working for Logan's uncle. At first Amy endeavors to seek her revenge, but with Logan reacting with good grace, they form an unlikely friendship and romance. I really enjoyed the banter between Amy and Logan, and watching their romance unfold. There were a few twists and turns near the end that I wasn't expecting, and it did end kind of abruptly.

The characters are like-able and believable. I would recommend Sweet Resolve to readers of contemporary romance. I look forward to reading more from Jill Sanders in the future.

I got a copy of this book from the publisher, and net-galley in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book, I was pulled in from page one and didn't want the story to end. I have read a few books by this author and have enjoyed them all.

This story is well written and the story flows. This is a sweet romance, no angst.

Amy is a sweet lady, she hold her heart close as she was bullied when she was growing up. Mainly by one person and that is Logan Miller.

Logan Miller shows up at the place Amy is working, she then finds out that he will be working with her and that her boss is Logan's Uncle, She isn't to happy about it and decides that she is going to get revenge for all the bullying he did to her as a child.

The chemistry between these two is flying off the pages, you feel what they are feeling. You start rooting for them. There is some great sex in this book, but its the falling in love that gets me.

Really enjoyed this book. Sweet Resolve is book 2 of the Lucky series but can easily be read as a stand alone. I have not read Book 1 yet & I was not lost in the reading. This book is a nice sweet contemporary second chance romance. Rachel's writing has a certain flow to it that keeps you entertained but still gives you some little surprises along the way. Rachel's writing pulls you into the story in such a way that your emotions are involved. The premise of the book is very lifelike, a teenage bully meets his primary target years later. There is a lesson that things aren't always what they appear & we need to look behind the behavior rather than at the behavior itself. Overall, a very pleasant read & a perfect book to spend an evening reading, similar in style to Susan Mallory.

This was a fabulous sweet read that is perfect for curling up with on a rainy day! Amy Walker is a deal away from making partner at the real estate firm she works for. Everything is going wonderfully until Logan Miller shows up in the office. Logan lived to torment Amy when they were younger but thankfully he had moved away. He's back now though, not only in town but working for the same firm and sharing her office. Fate seems to have a wicked mean sense of humor!! Thankfully Logan doesn't seem to be the same vindictive guy from middle school. Does he even remember all the trouble and heartache he caused? Can Amy forgive and move on? Logan sure hopes so and he'll do just about anything to make it up to her!

A great read and one I think you will enjoy. I recommend it.

This is more like 3.5 stars.

This is a nice contemporary romance story.

It is the second story in the Lucky Series, but can definitely be read as a stand-alone novel.

The writing flows easy. The characters are sweet and engaging. And the plot has humour, romance, and a little twist to create a bit of suspense.

Overall, although predictable, this is a cute, light-hearted read, that is certainly not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

Thank you to NetGalley, especially Montlake Romance, for providing me with a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

This book is due to be published on June 7, 2016.

Logan terrorized Amy when they were in school but relief came when Logan's family moved away. Amy and Logan meet again when he comes to work with her at his uncle's real estate firm. Their relationship in the firm and personally develops gradually even though Amy worries that he may be there to threaten her position and she takes some revenge for the way she was treated by Logan in school. Their story involves work, friends, family, puppies and some danger that kept me turning the pages. Both Amy and Logan are charming and very likeable. This is a book that you won't want to put down!

Amy Walker loves her job. She is a top real estate agent and hopes to be made a partner in the firm. One day her child hood nemesis, Logan Miller, shows up at her job. He is the owners nephew and is going to working at the firm. He made Amy's live miserable when they were kids and she has no desire to work with him. There were reasons for Logan acting out when he was younger and he wants to make amends. He pretends not to remember Amy and Amy finds little ways to get back at him for his pranks in the past. Will Logan's relationship with his Uncle throw a wrench into Amy's hopes for partnership? This is a light romance with some sex. It is perfect for a beach read.

I've never read Jill Sanders before.

I could kick myself. This is just the kind of author I like to read after some deep, devasting or even dark romance book. It was a complete palette cleaner and a great beach read. Certainly won't be the last and I love a good series, I love meeting up w/ my fav couples in other books & im going to continue the series and read the other 2 since apparently I've started on the second.

I love a good childhood bully gets the good girl, and this is certainly it and the way Logan went about it makes him the sweetest of all book boyfriends. You really can grow up. I loved it.

Great supporting characters, good writing, recommend.

There was just something about this book as I was reading it. It was very well written and I enjoyed it. I just felt bad for both Amy and Logan and I think that colored my impression of the book. I felt bad for Amy having to live with Logan's bullying growing up. And I felt bad for Logan for having to put up with Amy's "revenge". But maybe in this case, two wrongs do make things right. Once the love started to shine through I enjoyed the book more, it just took me awhile to get to that point.

I enjoyed a full book dedicated to the character of Amy. We had been introduced to her in Unlucky in Love. This book showed great character development for both her and Logan. The only draw back I had with the book was setting. In both books in this series the romances are started in an office setting. This feels very cookie cutter as in new characters just drooped into the same setting . I have read multiple series and it's great when the character's in previous books receive there own book, just not always meeting in almost the exact same way.

Fun story of former high school classmates that reconnect years later. Amy was tormented by Logan all throughout her school years. Fast forward to Amy working for a realty company that is owned by Logan’s uncle. When Logan comes on board to work there, Amy assumes that he does not recognize her. Sparks begin to fly, even though Amy knows how much she hated him…..but his wit and good looks were hard for her to resist. It’s a sweet, funny & steamy read! I simply loved this book, love the series so far, love the authors skill in gathering in the reader, making them gasp with the characters, groan and cry at the sad bits (yes there's a few) and blush at the saucy bits, wishing they'd found a Logan! Read this entertaining romance, you'll be compelled to read book one, that's as good so no hardship! Highly recommended (received advance copy from netgalley but purchased book 1 anyway)

I received an ARC of this book for my honest review. I had previously read several books by Ms. Sanders and enjoyed them as well. I love the way these two characters came together after all the things Logan had put her through growing up. Amy has made something of her life and seems afraid that Logan will take away the job she so wants. Logan comes in and realizes the business has grown since Amy came on board with his uncle's business. Great story, would recommend this author to anyone.

Fantastic book! I really enjoyed the story. This is a great follow up to the first in the series "Unlucky in Love. " I really liked getting to know Amy, who was a secondary character in the first book, better in this book and seeing how her relationship with Logan evolves. Excellent way to spend an evening reading.
