I love being a sixth century historian and just citing my shit with "rumour widely claims this happened in a certain place" with absolutely no shame. Literally "there was no written record of this but then St Alexander appeared to me in a vision and told me ab it just trust me bro why would I lie to u" lmao

[Lisa Bitel]

Can't get enough saint stories.
