This story contains content which is intended for readers over the age of 18. Rachel left for school before Brad had a chance to see her. She couldn't face him after their hot encounter the night before. If she got away from him, she knew she would be able to get back to normal and forget about what they had done. That was exactly what she needed. Brad had other plans. He began to call and text her each night, and she found herself looking forward to their talks. How was she going to get him out her mind if they kept talking and flirting with each other? Was he playing games with her, or had he really changed? One month later, she was going home for Christmas and had no idea what he was going to say or do. Her best friend was his sister, and that made everything so much harder. She didn't want Karen to find out that she had lost her virginity to him. When Brad showed up to pick her up at the airport, she knew she was in trouble. He wasn't going to make the week easy for her. What would Rachel do when her best friend requested that she go on a double date with her? How would Brad react? Would Rachel be able to get through the week and back to school with her heart intact and neither of their families finding out about what happened between them?
Part 1 ends with Rachel losing her virginity to Brad. She decides to run off to college early so she doesn’t have to talk to Brad. She thinks she’s just another notch on his belt. Rachel soon learns that’s not the case. They start developing a friendship by talking every night and texting throughout the day. They’re counting down the weeks until Christmas break. Brad surprises her by picking her up at the airport for Christmas break. Their romance picks up hot & heavy.
(Please read Part 1 to appreciate Part 2) Sharon did it again! A super hot sweet story of love lost and re-found years later. This Part 2 is not long, so plan to read it through unless your reader burns up first! But as always with Sharon, there will be twists and turns that will complicate their love.
Rachel's first kiss was when she was 14 with her best friend's brother, Brad. He was a couple of years older than Rachel. It was the best kiss ever, but was never spoken of it again. Karen, her BFF, was Brad's sister. Rachael is sure Brad forgot the kiss when he became a football star and was a player on and off the field.
She has just found out he did not forget. He now seems to be his old self, but Rachael is skeptical, yet her attraction to him causes her to override her better judgement.
One thing that makes this story so special is that Brad doesn't push any faster than she is willing to go (although this is not a problem) and he is the one who initiates the spiritual love aspects before she says anything. This helps her toward overcoming her fear that he will break her heart.
I can't tell anything about the really hot sex. They do burn up the sheets a couple of times. But there is a compilation coming in Part 3 that neither sees yet. How will they handle this twist? Will Brad still love her? Will Karen kill them both? How will Rachael's mother react? Will they ultimately build a strong and loving life together, or will they lose it all from a mistake that may tear everyone apart and ruin Rachel, Brad, Karen, and all parents relationship and force Rachael to move away forever?
Hopefully the answer will come in Part 3. I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.
This review is for A CRUSH ON HER BEST FRIEND’S BROTHER PART 2 by Sharon Cummin After Rachel lost her virginity to Brad, she panics when he says he will see her before her flight leaves tomorrow, she panics and decides to go to the airport early in the morning to avoid him once again. Rachel has never told her best friend who is also Brad’s sister about the kiss between her and Brad when she was 13, now she had to keep another secret from her best friend. She needs to just avoid him again; he’s just a player; she’s just another notch on his bedpost. Can she get through this? Now that Brad saw Rachel and talked with her he was not going to let her go. He has not been able to get her out of his mind for years. When he goes over to her house the next morning she is gone. He panics and starts texting her and won’t stop. Finally Rachel tells him she is at the airport. Brad is not giving up this time. He begins calling and texting each night to get to know her better and for her to get to know him so she can believe that he is not a player. Will Rachel change her mind about Brad? What will happen when they both come home for Christmas break? Will they work this out? I cannot tell you anymore; you really need to read this book. The story has excellent flow, and is very entertaining. There was never a dull minute throughout the book. Oh my, I couldn’t put this book down; I wanted answers. When I read to the end of the book I found out that there would be another more book in the series…oh I hope it comes out soon; I want to know what happens between these two. Definitely 5 stars.
So the plot thickens….picking back up where Rachel left back to school before Brad had any chance of talking or seeing her again, she finds herself shorting through all the old emotions that were once buried. She just needed to get back to her normal routine. Brad had other plans refusing to let Rachel walk out of his life again he starts texting and calling nightly. Starts out as just checkup calls and then grows to become more flirting. Rachel fights with her old knowledge of the boy that Brad once was, she question if he is just playing with her until he finds that next girl. Coming home for Christmas was going to be an experience, not having told Karen that she has lost her virginity and to whom she lost it too. Rachel not wanting hurt feeling between her and Karen, she just wanted to forget what had happen. When Rachel walked out of the airport she never expect to find the man of her dreams waiting to take her home. Rachel knew at that moment that life just became more difficult and she was going to have to face her choices. Brad is going to win your heart over! This man is very much in love and refuse to let the one that holds his heart slip through his fingers! Rachel is still unsure if she can trust Brad with her heart. Their trust is tested and pushed to the very limit when events happen that force Rachel to fess up. I love every second of this read and dying to get my hands on the next in the series. Amazing story!
Thanksgiving is a family tradition. For generations, families have come together to eat and visit on the fourth Thursday in November (although Canada and six other countries, territories, and cities celebrate it on other dates annually). In the United States, little if any time is spent contemplating the past, but rather the present and families are paramount. Lavish feasts are prepared and consumed and traditional football games are watched as families communicate; reassessing family values. Eighteen-year-old Rachel is returning from college for Thanksgiving. She has made plans to spend a large part of her time with her neighbor and long-time friend, Karen, who is also returning for the holidays. Rachel once had a crush on Karen’s older brother Brad. She has, however, tried to avoid him for the past two years. He wasn’t the type of person she once thought he was but her emotional feelings about him were still in turmoil and unsettled.
This is a short story about a three-day Thanksgiving weekend. Emotions, passions, and actions run high. Thoughtless acts are committed without consideration of possible outcomes. The sex is steamy but the story’s literal worth is minimal. Plagued with grammatical and typographical errors, this tale could use a good tailoring. As a traditionalist, I woe the omission of football on this unique holiday, and hope it isn’t overlooked by the author in any subsequent Thanksgiving stories.
Things are heating up! This is the second in a four-part serial that sees the romantic relationship between Rachel and Brad slowly moving forward. From sort of friends to years of silence, their physical connection was undeniable as they reconnected during a holiday trip home. There is angst and drama galore as the two work through their feelings for each other. Did I mention all of this was happening while keeping all of it hidden from their families? The uncertainty has only grown despite their bond seeming to get stronger through steady text messages and phone conversations while both are away at their respective colleges. Back home again for Christmas, that uncertainty is very apparent as jealousy rears its ugly head. I really wanted to take these two and shut them in a room and tell them to talk it out! The feelings they have for each other seem real as they share more than just a physical attraction. They are young and you can see that in the way they skirt around the issues instead of meeting them head on. There is no complex plot but I think there are going to be some bigger bumps ahead. I like these characters and I’m invested in their story now. It feels like I’m waiting for the next episode of a good soap opera, when is the next shoe going to drop? I hope soon! Where is the next instalment?
Rachel and Brad continue their story by learning more about each other via late night phone calls and texts while each are back at school between the Thanksgiving and Christmas Break. Both are brave enough to voice their mutual thoughts of having no regrets after their night together. Karen has even begun volunteering at a soup kitchen close to her dorm thanks to Brad's own volunteer work.
When both return home during Christmas break, passion runs hot again and the two can't keep their hands off of each other... in private of course. Rachel isn't sure that letting the family in on their relationship is a good idea since she seems to think that Brad is going to "be done with her" at any given moment.
Rachel's Mom seems to hint at knowing their secret but Karen has no idea that her brother and BFF are more than annoyances to each other.
Each mention the "L" word before leaving after New Year's with promises of seeing each other again and continuing their daily talks and texts.
Throw in a possible curve ball arising out of their first time together and Spring Break is going to get a little more interesting. I can't wait to see what's next!
***I was given an ARC copy of this book for a true and honest review***
This series seems to be getting better with every installment. I wasn't a real fan of the first book but this second one is much more even paced and developed then the first.
After heading back to school without seeing Brad before she left Rachel was still very confused about how she felt about him. Rachel thought that by the time she went back for Christmas break that Brad would have moved on. After a number of unreturned texts Brad calls her that night and she answers without thinking. From that night forward they began to talk to each other everyday or night. They began to become friends and to learn more about each other as the days went by. Christmas break was going to be an adventure for both of them. They become more deeply involved and intimate with each other.
The next question they need to ask themselves is how are they going to last the 3 months until school ends. Their not sure but there are some possibly trying times ahead for the two of them because Rachel has a secret she doesn't even know she has yet.
Rachel is still doubting herself and her relationship with Brad. Both are back at school and she secretly believes that he is partying every night and seeing other women. Although they are in contact with each other, their relationship is still pretty new and raw. Brad’s character is still to be known. He does come off as a bit possessive and constantly wants to know where she is. He does seem genuinely concerned for her well being but it sometimes feels like too much.
In this part of the story, the reader realizes that Rachel might be in some sort of predicament. It’s not obvious to the character yet, but we know. I would like to know what she would do with that information. The series is getting a little more interesting as it progresses.

I have received both part one and two of this story from Sharon Cummin for my honest review.
Please read part one first before reading part two to understand the story so far. So far this is a brilliant read its sweet and spicy and romantic all in one ! I hope if you carry on reading this review it will not ruin the story for you
Rachel has been Crushing after her best friends brother brad for years now that thanksgiving is over and her and Bard have moved to more then friends she fleas without saying goodbye.
its a month until Christmas where is will have to face him again, However Brad has other ideas and they grow closer together and can't wait to see each other again. They make plans and Rachel is still unsure on her feelings for Brad or if he is just playing with her heart. New years eve is full of surprises for Rachel and I cant wait for the next installment
Rachel and Brad had made each others fantasies come true, he had loved her from a long time but he never did anything because she was his sister's best friend, but when she gave herself to him and he was her first he knew he couldn't let her go.
Rachel on the other hand she didn't want to be another notch on his belt and she had decided to leave before she had her heart broken but when Brad started calling and texting her she actually looked forward to be close to him. But what is in the horizon for this two?
Oh my this story keeps getting better and hotter than the last installment. I for one can't wait to see what is the next step for this two love birds.
You don't want to miss this amazing love story.
Gifted by author in exchange for an honest review.

This is book 2 of of A Crush on Her Best Friend's Brother. In part 1 Rachel gives her viginity to her best friend, Karen's brother, Brad and then takes off early the next morning for college. He's a big college football jock and she feels she's just another notch in his bedpost.
They are both home for Christmas break and she soon learns that he feels a lot deeper for her than she could of imagined. They spend a magical New Year's Eve together and then back off to their colleges.
So far neither of their family's knows they are having a relationship, though I suspect that Rachel's Mom is suspecting that they are.
But...there is a built up going on and I can't stand the suspense...is she or isn't she? I just can't wait for book 3 to hopefully have that answer.
Sharon has done it again! Rachel goes home for Christmas itching to see Brad again after all the late night phone calls and text messages but she didn't expect him to collect her from the airport. She has secretly been in love with him since she was a young girl and kissing him at 14 was a memory she would never forget. During their time over Christmas they tried to see one another as much as possible but that was hard when no - one knew they had been talking. They finally get some time together and end up having hot sex! Brad is happy to wait for Rachel to realise that's he's no longer a player.
Rachel has been in love with Brad since she was 13 yrs old. And after reading the first part, you know she lost her virginity to him and went running back to school because she was scared. Now they are all coming back home for Christmas. Rachel and Brad have been talking and texting every day since Thanksgiving. He was really mad that she didn't stay and talk to him, but they seem to be ok for now. The phone sex was off the wall hot and so were their sex scenes while at home. I am loving this series and can't wait to read part 3. This ends in a cliffhanger.
This continuing journey between these two most awesome of characters will have your heart in shreds for the fear of knowing what true hearts mean will just have the crying towel out.
This author not only brings emotion to the table but heart as well in this 2nd part of this series. What you think you know will happen will have you at odds end when the next page is turned and your heart soars or does it?
****I received this book as an ARC for my honest review****
over too soon! Ha!
Rachel finally got what she wanted! She slept with her best friends brother, Brad, only it didn't stop there. Brad was determined to show her he had changed and as a heart of gold. She's reluctant at first because she doesn't want to get hurt but as this progress there's just no way she get out!
This series is really hot and I've enjoyed reading ever minute of it!
A crush 2. Rachel and Brad couldn't resist each other. Brad started texting and calling Rachel. Brad got jealous when Rachel went out with his sister and another guy. Brad made sure while they were home for Christmas break they would get together. Brad booked a room at the hotel so they could bring in the new year. They enjoyed their secret rendezvous until they had to go back to school. Once Rachel got back to school she discovered she was pregnant. Now what do she do?
This is the continuation into Brad and Rachel's love affair. In this one you will get to read more interaction between the two. Things finally start to heat up and I can't wait to see where these two are headed next although I have an idea. Love this author's work Sharon does a great job with her characters, grabbing the readers attention and keeping it. This one definitely didn't disappoint.
With, why was this novel broken into 3 books? I also want to slap the heroine, she's still a child. The writing is more for YA. I got tired of all the sex scenes because it's just one thing over and over. I don't know if I will waste my time with the third book whenever it comes out.
Sharon Cummin continues the story of Rachel and Brad and their budding relationship. Rachel is so unsure of where the relationship will go since she has liked Brad for so long. Cummin does a great job of picking up the story and continuing it without any hesitation. The characters continue to develop and you are drawn more into the story. Once again, well done Sharon Cummin!
Please read part one first! This book keeps you interested and I couldn't put it down, of was pretty hot! Some points i even laughed out loud! Loving some Brad!! Now I have to anxiously wait for the next book!
This series is so good, Brad and Rachel's story continues. This story says a lot about first loves, it is a great, and so hot that you can't put it down. Will they make it for three months? Can't wait to find out! Eagerly awaiting book three. Once again, thank you for writing Sharon Cummins!
I just love a good romance with some awesome drama. Are they an item or aren't they? I like it that she is being cautious and taking it slow because of his sleeping around but if she was so gutsy before why is she holding out. Can't wait to find out more?
Same problems as first part of this series. There's also way too much sex and not much other relationship development in this. I skimmed about half of this due to all the sex scenes. Yikes. Hopefully this story gets better.
I cant't wait for the next book, can't wait to find out what there family and bestfriend will say about their relationship and How Brad will react when he finds out that Rachel is pregnant
Okay so I'm addicted to this series now. They are short stories, but I'm in love with Brad and Rachel's story. I'm in love with Brad, what you talking about. Lol.
