West’s Business Law, Alternate

Rate this book
Based on the market-leading text, West's Business Law, this alternate version maintains the same tradition of comprehensiveness and authority, but is also cutting-edge and student-friendly. It is a classic blend of black letter law and student accessibility. The primary difference between this and West's Business Law, is that this Alternate text utilizes summarized cases while the other text uses the language of the courts in its cases. Also, the Alternate Edition includes two features, "Business Applications" and "Video Questions," not found in West's Business Law.

It's a legal textbook. I don't think it's possible to make a legal textbook enjoyable, yet alone exciting. I'm giving it two stars because despite it being boring enough to put me to sleep in one page, it did explain the concepts presented well.

The book is very basic in presenting of the material. Yet it contains perfect schemes, samples of legal documents, case summaries and briefs, etc. etc. I'd strongly recommend it both to students studying business law and to professors/instructors facing the need to teach basics on the subject.
