"In these poems the past and the future are merely circuitous routes to the present. Their anecdotal style and casual tone are mere veils for intensely personal experiences. Wing’s sense of humour never fails him and the reader takes in each poem as if being regaled by an old friend at an impromptu reunion." -Steven Mayoff
"John Wing’s muse is intensely tactile in a good way. Take note, readers, of John’s words 'our souls were already marked sold.' Buy this book, and feel the presence of a sage in the poet." - Joe Rosenblatt
I'm a part of the team working to edit/publish this book, so my rating is definitely biased, but I do think this book would be enjoyed by many. The poems are relatable. Every single one of them. There are many different themes throughout the book, all of which are experienced throughout one's life. This book is about growing up and the journey through life; the journey is something we can all relate to as we all are a part of it.
