Busily chewing the sides of a page, our little mouse friend suddenly find himself being buffeted about by the wind from the book's illustrations. Hiding behind the paper he has gnawed through, he sees the birds in the wind, an airplane and at the end he descends by way of the whirly gig that he has created from the paper he chewed from the book.
An adorable little mouse is busy gnawing his way through a page of his book to get a look at what is on the other side. What he discovers there almost blows him away. He finally gets himself secured and enjoys viewing the adventurous things that happen in the window he has created. I absolutely love this little series of books. The paintings are gorgeous and the use of the white space is so ingenious.
A short wordless book about a mouse who sees a lot of flying things in the sky and builds a pinwheel out of the paper in the book so he can fly too. You can look at the pictures and predict what the mouse will do next. Great for kids who may not be the best readers.
I loved this wordless book. The illustrations were amazing and I followed along with the little mouse on his journey. This would be a great book for beginners to help with comprehension. This is one in a series so readers can continue with the mouse on different journeys.
This is a short story without words about a mouse who chews his way through the book in order to build something so he can fly. It would be great to use with students who are struggling to read. It would also be good to use for prediction.
This is the first completely wordless picture book that I have read for this class. I like how e muse tears a hole in the page and creates the pinwheel. I was interested in seeing what would happen next. to read this book, I would have to tell about what all has changed since the last page.
A beautiful post-modern picture book about a mouse who chews his way through the book's pages to a vast, windy world on the other side. It's a fun, short book with lovely illustrations. It's nourishment for the young creative mind.
This book has great illustrations. Not sure if it would serve a good purpose in the classroom but it could possibly be a book I keep in my classroom library.
This is a wordless story that could be used to predict what the mouse will do next. I would have this in my classroom to use with children that may struggle to read.
I love this wordless mouse series for children. The illustrations are wonderful. I have had several young friends that enjoyed making up stories with these books.
