A vacation in Las Vegas sounds great to stressed-out literary agent Charlie Greene, but when she witnesses a murder on the strip and falls in with a oddball group obsessed with Area 51, she gets a lot more than she had bargained for. Reprint.
I was attracted to this title because I once saw a dead man being wheeled out of a casino on a guerney. They did cover him with a sheet in an attempt to "disguise" the fact that he was dead. The book was an ok read...a little muddled in the middle. I enjoyed the main character and would probably read another book from the series.
This is a strangely organized book with terribly awkward characters. It was pretty boring due to Charlie getting herself into a bad situation, but then immediately cutting to after the matter with no further explanation in the next chapter. If you’re looking for a face paced, riveting novel, move along.
