I was diagnosed with Yeast syndrome so a friend lent me this book. It's 30 years old now but I still got some interesting my background on the condition that my doctor never shared. I enjoyed the case histories and their usage to illustrate different scenario caused by the yeast-they helped me to understand what I've been going through. But the organization of the book is lacking. Also there were parts I found tedious and unnecessary to read. More recipes would be helpful maybe more of a reference book than a cover to cover read like I did. But great fun to have a book on this mysterious and usually undiagnosed syndrome.

I purchased this book about 30 years ago when I had given up on allopathic doctors etc. It saved my life & helped me find a doctor focusing on candida & environmental sensitivities. My copy if outdated but it remains in my library. ~ Carole

Incredibly helpful. I was skeptical since it was written so long ago but I'm glad I picked it up. I will definitely be referring back to it in the future.

I first read The Yeast Syndrome over 20 years ago and it was a life-changer for me. Candida Albicans overgrowth is a bigger problem than more people ever use to realize and it effects more people than we realize. It is also the underlying problem in a lot of diseases and sicknesses. Even though this book was written a long time ago I still highly recommend it for people interested in health issues and for those who can't ever seem to feel good. I've just reread it and it is helping me again.

I HAVE BEEN TO MY DR. AND I AM TRYING TO FOLLOW THIS WAY OF EATING. I HAVE LOST 60 lbs. BUT I STILL NEED TO LOSE THAT MUCH AGAIN. I WILL NEVER BE DONE WITH THIS BOOK BECAUSE I FOLLOW EACH LEVEL FOR A MINIMUM OF 4 MONTHS BEFORE I MOVE ON TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
