The love story of Sylvie and Andrew was memorable.

I liked Andrew’s concept of immersion so he could really get to know Sylvie.
He needed to learn about her childhood to understand why she left Boston the way she did and why she fit better into Jackson Hole. A place that embraces different peoples gift and personalities.

I would love to see her impressive cakes.

She also needed to be honest with Andrew so he could see that giving up medicine wasn’t good for him or his life. He would not be happy in his families company.

They are a great addition to the community of Jackson Hole. "I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it."

Love Me Sweet is the eleventh in the Jackson Hole series but as with all the stories is a stand alone story. This is an opposites attract and overcoming past betrayals to find a happily ever after. As a young child, Sylvie is first abandoned by her father and then a few years later her mother also abandons her leaving her to believe that she is not worth loving. She floated from home to home in the foster care system until she aged out but she didn't let her past stop her from achieving her dream of becoming a baker. While working in a bakery she met Dr. Andrew O'Shea, heir to one of the largest sports stores. They had a whirlwind love affair and became engaged but as she realized that she could never really fit into his world and when she overhears a conversation between Andrew and his father it confirms it. She leaves Andrew and Boston to make a new life for herself in Jackson Hole. Andrew is stunned to received a text message ending his engagement and determined to get answers for the reasons. After a few months, he tracks Sylvie down and confronts her but when no real answers are given he suggests spending three weeks together as immersion therapy to discover the real Sylvie and thus be at peace with the ending of the relationship. As they spend time together, the chemistry is still explosive but as they learn more about each other they both find more to love but still must find a way to overcome their differences to have the life they both want. This is a wonderfully written, emotional story of betrayal, loss, re-connection and discovery. The characters are relatable and engaging. This is a story that will have you reading until the wee hours of the morning, not wanting to put the book down until it's finished.

I received an advanced reader copy from the publisher but all thoughts and feelings are my own.

This is book 11 in the Jackson Hole romance series. Sylvie Thorne is a recent transplant to Jackson Hole. She left Boston, ditching her fiancé Dr. Andrew O’Shea via text. She has opened a bakery, and is trying to fit in. Andrew sees a write up on Sylvie’s bakery, and decides that he needs to find out why she broke things off with him and goes to Jackson Hole. Sylvie agrees to Andrew’s request to stay together for the next three weeks, so he will realize how they are not right for each other. This is a nice, second chance romance with two very likable characters. This book was originally published under the title “The Doctor’s Runaway Fiancé,” and has been updated. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from the author and publisher for my honest review.

Sylvie Thorne Andrew O’Shea are featured in Cindy Kirk’s Love Me Sweet. I enjoyed this story of second chances and loved the author’s passionate descriptive voice.
Dr. Andrew O’Shea travels from Boston to Jackson Hole to seek out his former fiancé Sylvie Thorne. Andrew is devastated that Sylvie broke up with him via text and vanished into thin air. He can’t move forward until he understands why she ended their relationship. Loved the unusual plot twist—Andrew wants to immerse himself into Sylvie’s life to understand her. He hopes to find out that they are too different so he can move forward. The author does a fabulous job balancing the simmering passion between the couple, their need to be open and honest with each other and their need to belong.
Cindy Kirk is one of my go to authors because she creates captivating characters. Being together 24/7 worked for Sylvie and Andrew. Both of them were at an emotional crossroads –this drew me into their story. It was apparent that they cared deeply for each other—but was that enough to build a future? Loved the honest, often emotional conversations between the couple. Sylvie learned to trust Andrew and opened up to him about her childhood and her desire to belong, to be valued. Andrew understood that Sylvie expressed herself through her baking. Baking wasn’t a hobby for Sylvie—it was her passion. Andrew learned to trust Sylvie and he experienced a sense of freedom in Jackson Hole. He met other doctors in the community who shared his passion and he volunteered at a free clinic.
Love Me Sweet is an engaging, compelling second chance romance. Cindy Kirk writes a fabulous story for Sylvie and Andrew. Loved that both characters had the opportunity to become friends while their chemistry sizzled in the background. Loved that each chapter revealed a new clue, a new layer to their relationship. I rooted for this couple and wanted them to realize that their love for one and another was the icing on the cake!

This is a lovely story of a love that did not come easy; but as they say, nothing that is worth it ever comes easy.

Sylvie has not had the best of beginnings in life - family circumstances have caused her to be alone in this world. She has her work and that's about it. Until she meets Andrew. Andrew is a doctor, but also an heir to a sporting goods store business. She feels that he is and has everything that she does not - a family, a fortune, a career. Sylvie is struggling to establish herself not only as a baker but as a person as well. Her traumatic past has stuck with her and she feels that she is totally unlovable because both her parents deserted her.

Our couple meet at a bakery that Sylvie is working at and sparks fly. They fall in love and get engaged, but Sylvie's past rears it's ugly head yet again and she hastily breaks off the engagement and runs off. She finds herself in Jackson Hole ... and this is where our story starts. Or rather, this is where our story re-starts. Sylvie's life gets better slowly, she opens a bakery and this is how Andrew finds her. He reads an article about Sylvie's new bakery and sets out to find out why she left him ... and maybe try to win her back again. He asks for 21 days ... and the rest, you will have to read for yourself.

This story is lovely, well written and touches the heart. Sylvie and Andrew are loveable characters who have their issues, and needed to realize that all burdens are always lighter when shared. Revisiting Jackson Hole is always a treat, and learning more about our new characters was a joy. Cindy is great at writing characters and stories that touch the heart, and this is no exception.

**I received an ARC of this book but this review is written willingly (and wholeheartedly) and all opinions in this review are my own.

Sylvie had a terrible childhood. Abandoned by her father and then her mother, she did not believe in love or trust or security. She left a fiance in Boston and came to Jackson Hole and has created a new life for herself. She loved Andrew with all her heart, but Sylvie knew that they were two different people and things would never last.

Andrew has come to Jackson Hole to ask Sylvie why she left. One day she was gone and there was only a text. He needs closure. He loved her so much and he just wants to get the answer to why she could walk away and leave him and never look back.

This is a terrific story.

Sylvie has her baggage from her past and Andrew has his baggage as well. He is a doctor who loves his work. But, he is about to become the COO in the family business and give up medicine. Being a business executive is not his first choice but he feels it is something he must do.

Sylvie has a bakery business which has become a huge success in a short period of time. Her talent and passion has provided her with the opportunity to become a part of a community. She is unfamiliar with the concept but she is learning to give things a try.

The secondary characters add a great deal of texture to the story. The descriptions of Jackson Hole are so engaging the reader can almost smell the scent of pine. Ms Kirk has created a book which is a very satisfying read for anyone who loves romance.

This is a story of two people trying to find peace and serenity in their lives. It is also a story of trying to overcome heartbreak and continue to live. It is very well done.

I won this book in a contest. I am voluntarily writing this review. All opinions are my own.

Love Me Sweet is Ms Kirk's 11th book in the Jackson Hole Series. It can be read as a continuation of the previous books or as a standalone novel. I prefer to have read the other books in the series as you get more of back story to the background characters.
This book tells the story of Sylvie & Andrew who were engaged previously but have since split up.
Sylvie had a horrible childhood. She was abandoned by her father as a young child & then abandoned by her mother a few years after that. Sylvie goes through foster home after foster home until she ages out where she starts off her dream of becoming a baker by working in a local bakery.
Whilst at the bakery she meets Andrew who is not only a doctor but heir to a sporting store empire. After a whirlwind romance, they become engaged but through certain circumstances, Sylvie up & leaves Andrew via text in Boston & heads to Jackson Hole.
Unhappy that he didn't get an answer as to what brought about Sylvie leaving, Andrew tracks her down in Jackson Hole a few months later. Here Andrew makes the decision to spend three weeks immersed in Sylvie's life to see if they truly are or aren't compatible. The chemistry between them is undeniable & after overcoming their differences, they decide to give their romance another chance.
The more I read the books in the Jackson Hole series, the more I like characters & want to know more. If you're a fan of Ms Kirk's previous books in the series or her Good Hope series, read this book as well. You won't be disappointed!

This is the story of Sylvie Thorne and Andrew O’Shea. Sylvie, a baker with artistic flair, came to Jackson Hole from Boston She left because she ghosted her fiancé, Dr. Andrew O’Shea. She felt she did not fit in with the wealthy O’Shea family, given her miserable poor upbringing. Andrew is a concierge physician but provides health care to everyone. Andrew is pressured greatly by his father to give up medicine to run the family sporting goods empire.

Andrew tracks Sylvie down to Jackson Hole and makes an unexpected appearance, hoping to understand why Sylvie left him, and to prove to himself her is better off without Sylvie. He has three weeks to meet these goals, and he convinces Sylvie that the best way to accomplish these goals is to live together and spend serious time together.

Of course, the physical attraction is still there between the two, and spending time together just strengthens the bond between the two. Andrew begins building bonds with people in Jackson Hole, strengthening his ties to the Jackson Hole community.

Andrew does return to Boston at the end of the three weeks, but will he return? Can Sylvie get over her antipathy towards wealth, and acknowledge her love for Andrew?

I loved this Jackson Hole story. Though this is the 12th book in the series, and lots of familiar faces and places abound, a reader can appreciate the story even without having read any previous stories in the series.

Another brilliantly written book by the amazing author Cindy Kirk. Can be read as a stand-alone or as part of the series.

This book concentrate primarily on Silvie Thorne @ Dr Andrew O’Shea. Silvie moved to Jackson Hole a few moths ago, leaving behind her old life & Fiancé in Boston, or so she thought. Prior to coming to Jackson Hole, Silvie had a very turbulent upbringing where both her parents abandoned her. After spending years in many foster homes, Silvie is determined to make a good life for herself. Whilst living in Boston Silvie works hard doing what she loves, baking. Life is still a struggle in Boston, but her love life is a success, she is married to a very prominant figure in Boston, Dr Sndrew O’Shea. She overhears Andrew’s father discussing how he things she is unsuitable for his son. Silvie didn’t want tk cause a family rift, so she left Boston. Sending Andrew a text message ending this engagement & relationship. No explanation, she just vanished. Andrew had found where Silvie is now living, he is determined to find out why she left him & hopefully win get back. He asks her to let him “immerse” himself in her life for the next 21 days, in hoping that he gets answers, gets closure & hopefully rekindle their very passionate relationship. He is hoping that Silvie will see that they are meant to be together. He wants to show her that their relationship is much Nord than just passion, he wants to prove that it’s real love.
I loved this book, particularity the “immersion” what a fab idea. Full of highs & lows, laughter & tears, s brilliant boon to get lost in. Loved it.

Having had a hard childhood with no-one to love her, Sylvie runs away from her fiance Andrew, sure that they are too different and that she will never really fit into his world. But her leaving with no explanation is not acceptable as far as Andrew is concerned. He tracks her down to Jackson Hole, determined to find out what happened and to satisfy himself that she could not have loved him, so that he can move on with his life in Boston.

However the more Andrew finds out the more he begins to understand the real Sylvie and he also realises that neither of them knew each other well enough to be able to commit to a life together and the more he learns about himself and what he wants. Does he really want to work for his father when his heart lies with being a doctor.

The question is whether two people who are so obviously made for each other, can make their relationship work the second time around?

This was a more serious second chance romance with some challenges to be faced by both the leads. Ms Kirk tells another compelling story and I was routing for Andrew and Sylvie to find their way back to each other. And it is always a treat to meet some of the characters from previous books!

I was given this book by the publisher in exchange for an honest review and I loved it!

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. Sylvie Thorne moved to Jackson Hole after breaking up with her fiancé via text message. Dr. Andrew O’Shea is the heir to the O’Shea Sports franchise. He is embarking on a new journey in his life to change careers from medicine, which he loves, to run the family business. He needs answers before he can start this new journey. After seeing Sylvie’s bakery creations in a magazine, Andrew made plans to come to Jackson Hole to get the answers he needed to move on.

Andrew convinces Sylvie to spend three weeks with him to immerse himself in her life and get to know the real person. Both had hopes that this eye opening experience would allow both to let go of the feelings they still have for each other. The physical connection between the two has always been explosive. Will they be able to set their physical attraction aside to get to the real reason why Sylvie walked away?

As with most of Cindy’s books, readers get a glimpse of previous couples and how they are doing. I love hearing about this wonderful community and can’t wait to see what couple will be matched next. This story stays unpredictable until the end. Readers will be on the edge of their seats wondering if this couple can come together without losing themselves in the process.

Another great book in the Jackson Hole series. Sylvie ran away from her fiancé Andrew sending him only a text as a break up. Andrew then turns up in Jackson Hole looking for closure from Sylvie. Andrew asks them to spend all their time together over the next few weeks to really get to know each other as their time together in Boston was limited and was more about explosive chemistry rather than digging beneath the surface. Andrew comes from a wealthy family whilst Sylvie was abandoned as a child by both her parents and has some real issues that she hasn’t dealt with and feels with their different backgrounds that eventually Andrew would leave her. The more time they spend together the more they fall in love and Andrew assumes that she will follow him back to Boston even after she has expressed how suffocating it is for her. When Andrew is summoned back to Boston, they will both have to decide what compromises they are both willing to make. Excellent read.

Who can blame Sylvie for running? But leaving with no explanation doesn’t cut it for Andrew. When he shows up in Jackson Hole, months after the engagement break-up, Sylvie has warring feelings. Can she hide until he leaves town, or should she face the music?

Andrew wants answers, even though he is so over Sylvie. But the more he begins to understand her and also appreciate that neither knew each other well enough to commit to a life together, the more he learns about himself.

Can two people who are so good for each other, make it work the second time around?

A complicated, second chance at starting over story, where Kirk digs deep to help her characters grow…together, and understand they were meant to be a couple. Add in a town full of familiar characters who assist another couple find love…always fun.

I was given this book by the publisher in exchange for an unbiased review.

Wow! This was a really good one. Sylvie and Andrew were engaged, but she left with just a text. He found out where she went and a few months later he took off of work to go to her and find out why. She told him that they didn’t really know each other because the chemistry between them was so good that when they were alone they didn’t have time to talk. His answer was “immersion therapy”. He was in town for 3 weeks and they would spend most of their time together.

Jackson Hole has all the great couples from the first 10 books and the friendships and community became important to both. Things look like they are going to fall apart at the end, but we all know that it will be a happy ending! You can always trust Cindy Kirk to write a hard to put down, sweet romance. “I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it.”

Sylvie returned to Jackson Hole after running away from her engagement with Boston Doctor Andrew O'Shea. After three months in Jackson Hole, Sylvie swears she sees Andrew and she does. He is there to find her after she ghosted him during their engagement after overhearing that his father does not think that she is good enough for him. Andrew vows to find out why she left him and has three weeks to do so before he is to take over as COO at the family business.

But the two are still in love. And their three week immersion shows them that they do love each other. But when Andrew is called back to Boston and leaves Sylvie, she is miserable and must decide if she can live in Andrew's blue blooded world.

Great, strong, familiar characters make for a great read. It is enjoyable to go back to Jackson Hole.

After Sylvie left her fiancée in Boston (breaking up with just a note-eeek), she established herself and her specialty baking business in Jackson Hole. When Andrew (the ex) travels to Jackson to see what happened, they decide to spend a few weeks to really get to know each other, and hopefully get some closure.

From that description, it almost sounds like both characters could be unpleasant or creepy, but they weren't (thank goodness). Sylvie has great determination and passion for her creations, and Andrew has an equal amount of passion for his job as a physician.

Some good things were said about both living for your dreams and compromising with those you love. And I thought it was good that both characters needed this lesson.

This book initially struck a very sad note with me. I really felt for Sylvie because she felt unlovable and like anyone she got close to would leave.

Sylvie and Andrew both felt a sense of obligation in completely different ways. Neither of them were aware that the obligation was keeping them apart.

I enjoyed reading how their relationship grew and blossomed. Each of them having that lightbulb moment was sweet. I also like how welcoming the people of Jackson Hole were to Andrew, and how they continued to be welcoming to Sylvie in spite of holding herself away from them.

This was a sweet, romantic, feel good story. I enjoy revisiting Jackson Hole. It will leave you with an HEA and a smile on your face.

Love Lost - Love Found - LOVE IT!!!

Love Lost – Love Found – LOVE IT! Cindy has done it again. I was hooked the moment I read the first page. This is about Sylvie and Andrew. The love they shared and lost back in Boston found its way back to Jackson Hole. Sylvie had a rough upbringing with worthless parents that I wished somehow would have seen the GEM they left behind because she was strong and resilient to go through everything independently. Andrew was brought up in a different world consisting of having luxuries she never knew or had. The birthday cake (homemade at that) was exceptional. I love these books; I wish the next one is just as special and brings them back into it like all of the other characters!!

I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it. Love Me Sweet is the story of a second chance romance where opposites attract. Past trauma keeps Sylvie from believing in true love and from believing she’s worthy. After breaking off her engagement, Sylvie set out on her own to establish her own business. When her ex-fiancé tracks her down to find out what went wrong, she agrees to an “immersion” program to prove she’s all wrong for him - only for the plan to backfire. Love Me Sweet is the a stand alone novel part of the Jackson Hole series. Following Sylvie and Andrew’s love story is pleasant edition to the series. This book will keep you in the feels and entertained, as you won’t want to set it down.

I received this book as an advanced readers copy in exchange for an honest review. Jackson Hole is one of my favorite fictional places. I'd love to live somewhere like this, with beautiful mountains and a gorgeous state park in every backdrop. Cindy does such an amazing job of painting the picture of picturesque scenery that I often feel I can see it in my mind. Sylvie and Andrew's story wasn't one I expected in this series, as I've read all of the stories so far. But I'm so glad it was told. Two people with such a chemistry but from extremely different worlds and backgrounds come together in this love story to create a life together. I love how each of them balances the other out in various ways and how they both find a way to chase their passions but make their romance work.

Love Me Sweet is the newest addition to the Jackson Hole series and one not to miss! Andrew and Sylvie were engaged until Sylvie left Boston with nothing more than a text message to Andrew calling off the wedding. After months of wondering, Andrew decides to go find Sylvie and find out the truth of why she left him like that. She agrees to a 3 week immersion so that Andrew can see what she believes - that she is not what he wants or needs. But during that time, their second chance at love comes about. Andrew & Sylvie’s love story was sweet and hard to put down. The characters were well written and their emotions were worn on their sleeves, so the readers really got to know them. I think that we have all had that feeling of not feeling worthy and wanting to run away. Most times people tell us we need to stick it out and in the case of these two characters that may have worked, but I also believe that maybe they wouldn't have learned what they needed to be truly happy. Sometimes we need to step away from the situation for a while and then come back to it in order to see it for what it is and make the changes that will lead to our happiness. I felt like that is really what you were able to see with the relationship of the characters. Still love this series if you enjoy a good romance I recommend to keep reading.

Sylvie Thorne loves to bake. What she doesn't love is not having a family and thus explains--at least partially--why she runs when she overhears her fiance and his father arguing about her fitness to be his bride.

Andrew O'Shea is a doctor and heir to a Boston fortune. His parents expect him to head up the family business even though this means he'll have to stop doctoring, which is his passion.

First, however, he has to learn why Sylvie ran away. So he follows her to Jackson Hole and demands a three-week immersion, but no sex, so that he can go home satisfied that the woman he thought he loved he really doesn't. In the process, he also learns more about himself than he expected.

I love second chance romances when the time between chances isn't very long. I could relate to Sylvie, feeling like she could never fit in with Andrew's family and lifestyle, so she ran. Andrew follows her a few months later to find out why. I appreciate how they work at getting to know each other in a deeper way than they had before. I understand Andrew's obligation to his family, but was relieved when he realized he needed to be true to himself, and Sylvie. It was a bit of compromise on both parts, just like a real relationship should be, and led to a very satisfying happily ever after.

You can tell from the moment that Sylvie spots Andrew that she still loves him! It is understandable why she feels she does not fit into his life in Boston. They are from completely different backgrounds. It is so difficult to feel accepted for her. She has found her place in Jackson Hole. Andrew doesn't understand how she could have left him. I'm so glad that they decide to take the time to spend away from his family to get to know each other on a completely different level. Great trip back to Jackson Hole!

Love Me Sweet is #11 in the Jackson Hole series, it can be read as a stand-alone but you miss all the nuances that Ms. Kirk throws in about about past characters... definitely worth reading the prior stories!
This is an opposites attract and overcoming past betrayals to find a happily-ever-after story. With all the JH stories... it's not IF they get their HEA, it's how they overcome their obstacles. This simple, sweet and a light-hearted read was so enjoyable to read and hard to put down!

I was very curious about Sylvie when I met her in Josie's story so I was happy that I didn't have to wait long for her own book. She ended up being a little different than the first impression but not in a bad way.

This book was less polished than other Jackson Hole books but the chemistry of the characters and the plotline made up for it.

There are lessons about the impact of past traumas on current life decisions and how guilt is not a good reason to give up what you love.

I really enjoyed Sylvie and Andrew's story! Opposites attract but some differences are too much for even love to overcome, or are they? Sylvie aged out of foster care after being abandoned by both parents. Andrew grew up in a prominent Boston family with every advantage (and a pre-planned career in the family business) at his fingertips. can Sylvie overcome her feelings of not being good enough and can Andrew stand up for the life (and wife) he really wants? Another wonderful book in the Jackson Hole series by author Cindy Kirk. I loved the different storyline of Andrew immersing himself in Sylvie's life in an attempt to get her out of his system. When an engagement is broken off with a text, Sylvie and Andrew are left with a lot of questions. While Sylvie isn't too thrilled about Andrew's idea of immersing himself in Sylvie's life, over the three weeks, she finds that maybe she didn't know him very well after all. It's a lovely story, with some wonderful characters.

This book is lovely, sweet and romantic. While in real life having an ex follow you would be weird and kind of scary, in romance books is intriguing and romantic. I think Andrew deserved to know the truth of why he was practically left at the altar and at least they could solved their misunderstanding. This was a sweet story to read.
