Well, a little good, it should have been a reference to the travellers in the old times, but not now.

Reading this book made me open my eyes to the gap between the old a present time Pakistan!
Pakistan today is never Pakistan in the past!
It seems that these Pakistan which is in the book is some historical land, while present Pakistan is some reality!

How did this country changed over the past two decades, it's amazing!

It was a good reference for me as a Novelist since I needed an old culture book discussing the old Pakistan, but it's designed for the foreigner in the first place.

It should have been a good book at the time of publishing, but now it is so judgmental.

I didn't like the judgment and generalizing and that the author missed some things up, but over all it was a good read.
