What a weak novel. To be honest it's pretty bland.
This is the fifth novel, not fourth as someone said.
In this novel Cap Kennedy is sent to another world to drag them to Terra fold instead of it's counterparts that exist.

So what was bad? Well, short - novella lenght. They try to talk about sci-fi, superstition in one novel - that clah but unfortunately it was not that well made.
Then there is the all Terra vs adversaries. Earth is America and the remaining factions are like China/Russia - which to be honest made sense since this novel was written back in the 70's - in the middle of the cold war.

Then there is the all Kennedy character - he tries to solve everything either by bullying others into coercion and/or strength of arms - like USA.

Enfin, this tale also had minor appearance from Kennedy and more Prof Luden.
There is a over reaching arc about the aliens that existed before and left things all over the place. I will read the nexts but not right away.

Disappointing. The first half was veery slow. I almost put it down. It did pick up a bit at the end. This is the fourth book in the series I read and it may slow down my reading anymore(I have eight more).

Another quick read from the Cap Kennedy series. As with several of these books, it seems to end a bit prematurely but there's plenty of action. This one, however, was actually a little slower paced than the earlier ones I've read in the series. Not my favorite.
