I highly recommend this free online read! It's quick, but action-packed and romantic. As an author who is currently on a deadline, my reading time is extra precious. But this story was a nice breakfast or lunchtime escape into the world of fiction with a new chapter each day. (The entire story is available now) It helped me get my romantic suspense fix!

Fast-paced read full of danger, suspense, action, and romance. Fifteen months prior, Aiden and the Omega Team were in Columbia to take down one of the deadliest drug cartels in the world. While on assignment, he received critical information that lead to the demise of the cartel’s leader by an informant on the inside. The plan was to get in, complete the mission and get out not to seduce and fall for the Najita in the process. On completion of the mission the team makes a hasty exit and Aiden can only hope she escaped unscathed. However, all these months later he cannot get the beauty out of his head and return to Columbia to finish what he started. When he arrives he receives shocking news that, to him, changes the protocol of the current mission and when he runs into Najita again and learns her true identity as well as a secret she has kept hidden from him (not by choice but distance) all bets are off. He will do whatever it takes to not only complete his current mission but get Najita and their precious cargo out alive.

Aidan Killock returns to Bogota to complete the mission he started fifteen months ago…to take down the cartel. The help he received from a local woman, Najita Fowles, was invaluable and he hoped to see her again. When he finds out that she suffered for aiding him, he knows that he needs to complete the mission and keep her safe. Najita warns him that the cartel is aware of their presence. Who could have betrayed their mission? She has more secrets to share and although this is a novella length story, it is packed with suspense from beginning to end. This is a great book about Aidan, an Omega Sector agent whose mission is to take down the Belasario family drug cartel. He had received information earlier by seducing a maid at their house and goes back to see her (finding out surprising information) and continues his efforts to stop the cartel. There are lots of exciting events and it is simply a wonderful romantic suspense book. I highly recommend it!
