This book will stir the embers of your love for the Eucharist into a bright glowing flame. In it, Fr. John A. Kane explores the selfless humility shown by Christ in His presence in the Eucharist, opening the way for you to receive greater spiritual fruit from worthier receptions of Communion and from adoration of Christ in the Eucharist. Kane opens your eyes to how much God longs to be with you in the Eucharist and how much He delights in you you'll come to experience the Eucharist as that inexhaustible source of grace, peace, and comfort that He intends it to be for you. I am happy that I took this book off the bookshelf to read during this time of the National Eucharistic Revival. It helped me to dig deeper into the relationship of love that God desires and which we can greatly grow in through the proper reception of the Eucharist. I plan to read this book again, reading slowly and pondering one chapter at a time.

This book is a nice little primer of sorts to help people grow in greater awareness and appreciation of The Blessed Sacrament. Explaining clearly and intelligently the dispositions we ought to have when we both receive and adore it as well as the work and effects that its reception and adoration produces in our lives. Because this book is composed of 17-Short Chapters, almost reflections on the Blessed Sacrament I would say this book is very helpful and should be at the fore in recommendations, that we might restore the proper reverence needed to The Blessed Sacrament.
