Cade 'Spook' Baker and Trixie Lamasters met each other in high school, but their relationship didn't last past that when Cade had to leave her in order to take over Vipers Creed, his dads Motorcycle Club. From there both of their lives went in different directions. Him now the president of the Club, and Trixie the owner of Sirens, the local strip club.
Sirens is what brings her into Cade's, excuse me I mean Spook's, life again. One of her employee's borrows a substantial amount of money from her and never pays it back. Hunting down her employee for the money takes her to Cade's Club asking for help since that's where the girl was last seen. Once Cade see's her again though all his old feelings come rushing forward and he vows to never let her go again - even if he has to take her kicking and screaming.
I liked the overall story about Cade and Trixie, and the secondary characters have me interested in what's to come with this series. But the book felt like there was something missing, and it affected how much I enjoyed it. There was a lot going on with the MC and also with Trixie and it ended up making some of the actual story between the main couple feel lost and not like it was the first priority, which made me lose interest. There were parts that I was just skimming through because I got bored and even put the book down once or twice.
I didn't hate Trixie or Cade, but I didn't actually like them much because I never felt like I understood them. Cade had this weird thing with his name where he had to keep pointing out that he went by 'Spook' and didn't want to be called Cade, and yet for the majority of the story he was called Cade. I didn't really get why so every time he would yell at someone for not calling him Spook it made me a little confused. As for Trixie she didn't make much sense to me either. It was almost like the author was trying to make her this tough, kick ass, character but that wasn't very clear for me. Instead it seemed like she was trying too hard to be badass and failed miserably at it.
Overall, this is a good story, I just wish it kept my attention a little more. I am interested in whats to come for this club, though, so I will definitely be checking out the next book when it's out. I would still recommend this book for anyone that liked a hot possessive biker.

In Challenged we meet Spook and Trixie. They had a relationship in high school but that ended when Spook took over Vipers Creed MC from his dad. They don't see each other again until Trixie goes to him for help with an employee. This book was so good! Spook was all Alpha and Trixie was so feisty. Loved them!

Another enjoyable read from Ryan Michele. Fast-paced low angst biker read. Great hero who knows what he wants and a strong and feisty heroine. Recommend if you are looking for an easy but slightly gritty biker read.

Fifteen years later, "Trix" has to go to "Spook" for a favor. Trix owns Sirens, a strip club, and one of her girls, Nanette, is hiding out at the clubhouse and she owes Trix a pretty big chunk of change and Trix wants payment in full.
Okay, so I enjoyed the beginning of this book when Trix was pretty much a "stand on my own and own my shit" kinda woman. That started to fall by the wayside pretty damn quick.
There was just no character development for Spook or Trixie.
And the sex. While it was hot.. some of the time, again an overabundance of something can overshadow the actual story... which is exactly what happened here. Build the sex *into* the story, not the story *around* the sex. It loses its... well "sex appeal.
It took to 83% (yes, I kept reading it.. it did have it's good moments), before it really made me sit up and take notice for a little while. While the basic idea was there for a good story, it just fell a bit short for me.

Okay, so I enjoyed the beginning of this book when Trix was pretty much a "stand on my own and own my shit" kinda woman. That started to fall by the wayside pretty damn quick.
Cade/Spook... never much cared for him at all. He was a misogynistic man child. Okay, so I know that one of the reasons we (I) read a good Motorcycle Erotica book is for the fierce, sexy, hot, badass bad boys.. and the sex. But at the same time, I don't want the main male lead to be a giant ass. All. The. Time. And Spook had me rolling my eyes more than once.
There was just no character development for Spook or Trixie.
Another thing that I wish some writers would learn when writing MC books.. not every other word has to be "fuck". I did a search on my Kindle of that word and it came up saying.. "found more than 500 times"... in a 200 page book. Learn to use it sparingly, find another way to get your point across.
Some of the best Motorcycle Erotica books (and Dark taboo non-con erotica), get more attention from me, when I realize that the characters have actually made me connect with them when they didn't have to throw the "fucks" out everytime they spoke.
It gets to be so distracting that I end up rolling my eyes at another "unique use" (not) of "fuck and fucking".

They had so much sex that I imagined Trix to be in a constant state of orgasm!

There is a difference between dominating your partner, which is what I think the author was *trying* to go for with Spook, and just being an asshat. Just the way it started when Trix first walked into Spooks office, she'd been there a few minutes and he already had her back pressed against the door, holding her in place, and tongue down her throat, and soon after that he was claiming her as his. While this could have been hot as hell, I just didn't buy it with Spook.

I am a HUGE fan of Ryan Michele. I fell in love with the Ravage MC and haven't looked back since. While I am not a huge MC fan, Ryan has a way of intriguing me and teasing my sense, making me fall harder than I ever have before. Well step over Ravage because there is a new club in town and they have taken top honors. Wait until to meet the Vipers Creed MC...
I loved this book... like every single fucking piece of it. It was a brilliant masterpiece that captivated me from the first page and didn't let go until long after it was over. I devoured this book and it devoured me right back. Ryan Michele takes her readers on a journey of love, forgiveness, healing and second chances. Are you ready to let Spook and Trix light up your kindle?
This is Trix and Spook's story. Trix and Spook have history and not all of it is good but not all is bad either. Trix was left with a broken heart. Now, years later, she is a strong confident woman who runs her own business. She has risen above and made something out of herself. So when she goes looking for one of her girls, it throws her right into the arms of sexy Spook.
Spook did what he had to do back then. He didn't have a choice. He has stayed away from Trix but when she needs his help, he sees it as his second chance. As the President of Vipers Creed MC, he knows he needs a strong woman on his side and Trix fits that bill. Secrets. Lies. Deception. When Trix's world comes crashing down, will she lean on Spook for support?
I loved these two together. Shit, the sexual tension was at an all time high when they were near each other. I was rooting for them, no matter how hard Trix refused to follow her heart. And Spook... so sexy, dominant, alpha, and completely in charge. And between the sheets... queue the incinerating of panties. Get ready for one hell of a ride that will leave you breathless.
I highly recommend this book.

Not for me. I like my MC books dark with hot, controlling, badasses, but these characters lacked development therefore this book just didn't deliver for me.

I am a lover of MC books and this one did not fall short of what I love about them!
Some have pure grit and crime.
Some offer a glimpse into the club life
Some show the raw side of two people in love with.
Challenged focused on a second chance love within a MC life with only a touch of grit and crime.
Trixie: Smart, strong, and sexy - a true trifecta. Her business Sirens is her main focus. She is self-made and proud of it. She had her heart broken once and never again. Booty calls are purely ok for her. No shame in her game. You go girl!
Cade, a.k.a. Spook (the not so friendly ghost.): Raw, powerful, and just pure man. He is sex personified, women line up to even get a glimpse of him. President of his MC and has his brothers at his side, making him a dangerous man. He gets what he wants when he wants and even how he wants. Where can I sign up? For reals.

Well hot damn, let me be Trixie. The tone and power of his words just makes you shiver.
The two fell in love as teenagers but circumstances pulled them apart. Something that neither of them got over. What was the force that pulled them apart? Was it age? Was it Cade protecting her? A chance call 15 years later has to two back together. Cade is not letting Trixie go - she is the goal and he will complete it. That force is still in the background but both are on a path to fight it. And fight did they ever.

The words just flowed so easily with the composition that made this story. I just found myself consumed by what was going on. I was Cade’s and Trixie’s cheerleader - *Cade you better get your girl! Trixie let that man have you!*. The determination and drive that Cade had to make Trixie’s his again was so so so swoon worthy. Any woman would want their lover to care and tend to them this way. The words and power behind them made you shiver from head to toe - let me have a piece!Each page delivered a punch that made you want to continue and see what was going to happen. Whether it be them fighting forces, fighting each other or making their bodies as one. This was a perfect mix of the MC life, personal story lines and the unknown that is around each corner. You felt the love even though it wasn’t mentioned every five seconds (thank you for that.). It did not need to be said it was there and it was just simply known that these two were to be together and thrive.
Passion.
Suspense.
Grit.
Sex.
Drive.
Power.
Challenges.

First of all .. the cover … its so awesome to see something different. I couldn’t see the cover that well on the ARC but I knew it was good but seeing it here … its fantastic!
Second can I get an AMEN because this is one lustrous read. From the Prologue until the last page and even after the last page you are going to be plastered to your kindle. The review you are going to get from me though will not contain any spoilers because I just don’t do that. What I will tell you about though – the characters … oh heck yes.
Trix Lamasters is a hard ass business woman. She learned from the best .. her father. There is no love between the two but he did provide her with the skills needed to make herself into something and her club Sirens is definitely that. The one time she gave the most important part of herself away was the one time she felt shattered. The second time Trix felt a twinge of her so called heart she lost again. If finding Nanette King meant she had to stand toe to toe with a piece of her past then so be it …. She wasn’t that same stupid girl … Cade would give her the information she needed and that would be the end of the story. Fifteen years changes a person.
Cade “Spook” Baker is the president of the Vipers Creed MC. Bringing the club back to the right side has been tough. The things he had to do to get the club there had to be done. Boner (Ben) his VP has stuck by him along with the rest of his brothers but Boner also knew about Trixie. Fate had just knocked on his door holding her hostage and this time all bets were off.
The question is will the past and present collide? Cade has his way as does Trix. She wont be under minded and neither will he. She can push or pull … either way Cade will win what he believes to be his regardless of what Trix thinks … she wont be able to stop him.
I wanted to put these two in a cage fight and see who came out alive. There is nothing I love more than two physically powerful characters throwing it down on the pages that Im turning. Female or male … doesn’t matter but when you have two and throw in a handful of secondary characters just as bad ass … IM DONE FOR …. BRAVO!
This is such a tremendous release to a new series that promises to be one we cant live without. There are so many more stories to tell – Lets see there is Boner, Stiff, Bosco, Dawg, Rip, Hooch and lets not forget Jett …. Oh yes. Bring them all on with their own stories. We are given a small hint into a “might be down the road thing” with two characters and I was fist pumping the air … make sure you read carefully!

Challenged marks a new era in Ryan Michele MC romance novels. It speeds into the dark and twisted world of the Vipers Creed MC and doesn’t let off the throttle once. Michele has created a gritty and suspenseful world filled with sexy bikers and tough as nails chicks. I’ll admit as much as I love Michele’s Ravage MC series, I was worried going in because I wasn’t sure what I would expect. It’s a different world with completely unfamiliar characters, but as I turned the pages I feel just as much as in love with the VC men as the Ravage men.
Spook is a bit of enigma at first because I honestly had trouble getting a good read on him. He was cold, hot, and then back to cold again when it came to Trix. She came from the past and new him as boy, but what’s only left is the man named Spook. He’s seen and done things that Cade could never do, and he’s hardened because of it. Yet, as the years have gone by, the only person who remained a constant in his mind after countless nights of girls, drinks, and club business is Trix. His resolve softens around her stubbornness and spirit. She’s always been the one that he wanted, but even now, she’s the one she shouldn’t want to have.
Trix is by a lack of better terms pretty badass. She’s had to fight and scrap to make her life after being raised by her con artist father. After graduating from college, she takes over a strip club and makes it her own. Business is business until one of her own double crosses her. While she would normally let it go, she can’t set that kind of example for the women working for her and that sole decision lands her back into the crosshairs of a man from her past she never wanted to lay eyes on again. Her heart has never recovered from his disappearance and seeing again only brings up the promises of a first love heartbreak. Spook is a bit of enigma at first because I honestly had trouble getting a good read on him. He was cold, hot, and then back to cold again when it came to Trix. She came from the past and new him as boy, but what’s only left is the man named Spook. He’s seen and done things that Cade could never do, and he’s hardened because of it. Yet, as the years have gone by, the only person who remained a constant in his mind after countless nights of girls, drinks, and club business is Trix. His resolve softens around her stubbornness and spirit. She’s always been the one that he wanted, but even now, she’s the one she shouldn’t want to have.
Trix is by a lack of better terms pretty badass. She’s had to fight and scrap to make her life after being raised by her con artist father. After graduating from college, she takes over a strip club and makes it her own. Business is business until one of her own double crosses her. While she would normally let it go, she can’t set that kind of example for the women working for her and that sole decision lands her back into the crosshairs of a man from her past she never wanted to lay eyes on again. Her heart has never recovered from his disappearance and seeing again only brings up the promises of a first love heartbreak. I'll start by saying that if you have read any of Ryan's other books you will definitely be hooked on this one, once again she sucked me right into this story and I had such a book hangover it was hard to start another.
Challenged is about two characters that 15 years ago had a past with each other and it suddenly came to an end for reasons beyond their control. Now it's time to pick up the pieces and what a ride we get.
Cade "Spook" Baker grew up in the fast paced world of the Vipers MC Club which his father was president of and being forced to give up the girl of his dreams was the hardest thing he'd have to do but he knew it was best so he could put an end to the mess his father had made of the MC Club and to take over as president.
Trixie was a naive teenager who fell for the bad boy Cade only to have her heart crushed with no explanation after giving up the one thing she could never get back.
Fifteen years has gone by, both Cade and Trixie have grown went In completely different paths until one day Trixie is forced to confront the one man who she has sworn to never see again.
When Trixie Steps foot in Vipers MC club house all bets are off, there is no way that Cade will let her go again and he will do anything to get the girl he once lost back again.
What happens next is the start of one of the best second chance stories I've read in so long, yes we get angst, laughter and a bunch of "OMG No" and let's not forget the hot steamy off the charts sex scenes that will melt your E-reader. There are twists and turns that I did not see coming putting Both their lives in danger and I was so glued to my seat holding my breath throughout this ordeal I felt as if I was right there with them.
Can these two put the past behind them and finally get the ending they so deserve and want? Will the past creep up and threaten to take and destroy them?
Well I'll stop here I'm not saying anything but "Go Get This Book Now"

I absolutely love my MC books and Ryan Michele is an exceptional writer when it comes to MC books. Each character and couple in her books is unique in their own right. When I heard she had a new MC series I was like NO!!! I need more of my Ravage MC!! But you are easily going to fall in love with the men of Vipers Creed. This book pulled me in right away, had me falling in love with the characters, and pulling for Spook and Trixie to find their way back to each other.
One of the main things I love about Ryan's books are how strong and kickass her female characters are. Trixie was no exception and is right up their with Princess as my favorite. I loved her. She had her heart broken and a crappy upbringing but she didn't let either hold her back from becoming the strong, successful woman she is. Spook ahh he is the epitome of an alpha male. He's the president of the Viper.s Creed. He gave up and did a lot to get to that position. He is loyal and when he loves he loves hard. The MC is his family. He's got a dirty mouth and is a beast in the bed...on a desk....The two are perfect for each other. The sex is HOT....panty melting hit. They both give as much as they take and it just works.
This is technically a second chance romance, but it is definitely not your typically love story. The two together are combustible. There is no denying the connection and pull to each other, but hearts were broken, secrets were hidden, and trust was lost. I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen with the two and to find out why things really ended between the two <<
If you are a fan of MC books and love a romance with a feisty female and a dirty alpha male then you must read Challenged. I loved all the characters and can't wait to get the rest of Viper's Creeds stories. We get a little clue/puzzle piece at the end that has me needing more now.

So a friend told me that I NEEDED to read this author. When this book came around, I jumped. I knew her other MC series was popular and I trusted my friends judgement so I grabbed it. OMG I am super excited that I did.
I love 2nd chance stories especially when they have hot alpha males and sassy stubborn heroines. Who doesn’t love a CHALLENGE too right?? Well this book is so full of it that you will be left sitting in one entire afternoon unable to put the book down.
Cade/Spook loved Trix/Trixie in high school. He knew that she was the one for him but his “family obligations” needed him so he had to cut her loose. When she struts into his life 15 years later looking for an employee, he will not let her go……..
I honestly don’t know which of the two I liked more. I mean they both were perfect. Her sass and his caveman thumping put me in heaven. I loved the side cast of characters but wow the twists and turns we got about Cade and Trixie’s fathers……I mean…yikes bad family drama.
I have got to say I am super excited to read about Boner and Stiff. I don’t know which of these brothers I want more? I mean they both had me cracking up so I am curious about what kind of woman kicks their alpha butts in gear.

Re-read January 2023: I listened to the audio this time and the narrators did a great job! The story kept me interested, a touch of instalove (but why did he have to be a manwhore before and why the tiny bit of OW drama from a clubgirl? (Nothing too serious though and Trix handled it well and right away)). I loved both the H and h in this one. H was dominant, alpha, possessive and protective. The h was super fierce, bad ass and wasn’t to be used as a doormat. Steam was hot, suspense (damsel in distress yay!) was good. All in all I enjoyed it a lot! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

- OW: club girl confronts h in bathroom (former hook up of H). When H finds out, throws her out
- OM: h’s regular hook up. Meets with him day after seeing H again (and H had kissed her). She gets hot and heavy with OM and H sees it and deals with him 😏

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, suspense, second chances, secrets, lies, and heartbreak.
This is Trix and Cade (Spook)’s story. Trix and Cade had one night years ago. Then Cade acted as though she didn’t exist. Cade had his reasons but didn’t share them. Now Trix showed up at his compound for a woman that owed her. Cade decides this is his chance to claim her. Now he just needs to convince her that she is his. Can he heal her broken heart that he caused by his actions? Or is the past about to rip them apart forever? Can past secrets and hurts stay buried or are they about to explode into the present? Will Trix trust Cade enough to lean on him when she needs him or will she try and go it alone?
I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book.

This book deals with some hard subject matter but the author does it well. The narrators were great on this book and really brought it to life. Definitely a must read and an author to follow.

Ryan Michele has done it again, she's brought us another MC to fall in love with! How can you possibly not fall in love with the Vipers Creed MC and especially their dirty talking, sexy Alpha Male President Spook aka Cade.
The minute he meets his childhood sweetheart Trixie again, he's hooked, he let her get away once to protect her but he's not letting her go again as fate has reunited them. She feisty and sexy and certainly going to keep him on his toes. She's the perfect Ol Lady for the club President.
This second chance at romance is full of twists, turns, lust, passion, loyalty and betrayals. There are some shocking family secrets revealed and I can't wait to see what happens now with this MC and the other brothers Boner, Stiff, Bosco, Dawg, Rip, Jett and Hooch

My Trix
I enjoyed this book a lot, but there was a little something missing. I didn't really like how Trix pushed away so much. I understood it, just didnt like it. Maybe if there time together was longer then a week or so it would have been a little better. But overall this was a good fast read.

What could be better than an MC romance with a second chance romance added in? I will tel you... NOTHING! Cade (Spook) and Trixie had a high school romance that didn't last when he left her to go and take over his father's motorcycle club, Viper's Creed. Each went their separate ways and during the fifteen years they have been apart Cade has become the president of the Viper's Creed MC while Trixie has become the owner of the local strip club, Sirens. Their paths cross again when Trixie comes to the club looking for an employee who "borrowed" a rather large sum of money. Once they meet again all of his past feelings come back for Cade and he is determined to have his Trixie again regardless of her thoughts on the situation.
These two were intense and I love the fact they were getting a chance at their happily ever after even if it was fifteen years later than they had thought. Cade always put his the club in everything and while that was what he needed to do it shattered Trixie's young heart in the process. She knows that she wants him but she gave him everything once and is afraid of what he will do to her heart if his has it again. Their past has defined them but getting to the happily ever after is what made this such a great read. There were plenty of twists and turns with the history of their fathers and the other club brothers are simply awesome. I loved this book and can't wait for the next one.

Challenged is the book that kick starts the Vipers Creed MC series. Ryan Michele did another fantastic job on this book. At heart this gritty biker romance is about love and trust and how hard it is to earn your way back. It had me captivated from beginning to end.
Ryan Michele started this romance out sweet and sexy and all about an enduring love that was never forgotton. Then later on it took a suspenseful turn, hitting on a heavy topic with a bit of thrilling action. Cade and Trix had to overcome a lot of ups and downs in their relationship. Then some unfinished business from the past came back and made this book a must read, especially as it seems like a common thread will most likely span the series.
This book was all about the characters for me. Cade and Trix were a wonderful couple. Cade was a sexy alpha biker. He was strong and possessive and he would do anything to protect Trix. He absolutely was ready to lay down his life for her. Trix was tough, and fierce and sassy. There was some issues that these two had to overcome. Once, Cade made the impossible choice of breaking Trixie's heart to keep her safe, then she came back to him and he had a daunting task ahead of him before he earned her trust again.

I enjoyed this first visit into the Vipers Creed MC. I adored Cade and Trix and all of the other intriguing characters. The series is populated by hot motorcycle men and I look forward to reading their stories. I loved the twists and turns of the story, and the action and suspense. For everyone who reads MC romance then I suggest adding this book to your list.

Challenged is a second chance romance with the added addition of a smoking hot alpha male biker and a female that straddles the line of sassy and bitch so much so that you aren’t sure which side to put her on. Trixie and Spook will not only have you wondering if they will ever get along, but their sexual chemistry is off the charts hot and will make you wish Spook was your man. There is drama, action, suspense, secrets, regret and love in Challenged but all of the aspects work well together and I can say that reading Challenged was anything but a challenge. I was hooked pretty much from the start and didn’t want to put Challenged down until I was done. I am excited about the new series from her and am looking forward to reading more about the newest sexy as hell bikers in town!

It seems like everyone is trying their hand at the MC genre and some have failed miserably but Ryan Michele isn't one of those people.
I loved this book from the beginning and couldn't put it down.
I needed to know what was going on with Trixie and Cade.
Trixie goes looking for a girl who owes her money and it all points to the local MC.
The president just happens to be the guy who she gave her heart to while in high school.
Cade "Spook" is the Pres of Vipers and when Trixie walks into his club, he has to have the one who got away.
This book had a lot of ups and downs that I kept reading to find out what was going to happen.
The sex was hot but the story was so much better.
Ryan Michele kept me guessing and usually I was wrong.
The ending...OMG!
This is a great read and everyone should be reading this book.
You will not be disappointed.

I loved this book from the beginning and couldn't put it down.
I needed to know what was going on with Trixie and Cade.
Trixie goes looking for a girl who owes her money and it all points to the local MC.
The president just happens to be the guy who she gave her heart to while in high school.
Cade "Spook" is the Pres of Vipers and when Trixie walks into his club, he has to have the one who got away.
This book had a lot of ups and downs that I kept reading to find out what was going to happen.
The sex was hot but the story was so much better.
Ryan Michele kept me guessing and usually I was wrong.
The ending...OMG!
This is a great read and everyone should be reading this book.
You will not be disappointed.

What a ride! I have to say this is the first book I have read by this author and I will going back for more!
Trixie is strong, independent and fierce...the only one with power over her is Cade or Spook as that's is MC name.
She doesn’t want anything to do with him after he broke her heart..but here they are about to meet after 15 years.
She made a bad decision and now she needs his help.
I loved their first encounter...Trixie was all attitude but the attraction was there.
Cade was an ass but his mood changed so fast..and what a man! Hot, such a dirty dirty mouth, possessive and dominant.. I might have turned into a puddle of goo myself lol
The pace of the story is fast, very fast, and I was so engrossed with their relationship and the MC that before I realised it I was nearly at the end..
Totally unexpected turn before the end and I was so shocked..still shuddering by the way.
Loved everything about it and the end was perfect!
Hoping for Stiff and Boner stories..pretty please!

M/C story book 1 in a new series . Have it in Audio
This is a good start to a new series . I love Ryan Michele M/C stories and the audios are no different. Mason Lily’s was great. His voice is smooth and clear. He knows how to the male parts of an M/C perfectly. The female narrator was okay not great but okay
Hero is Cade. Heroine is Trixie
Trixie is out for blood . Trixie owes a strip club and she lent some money to one of her girls . Now the girl can’t give her back her money. Trip finds out that her girl went to a M/C party , the M/C is the Vipers Club

Well damn just when you think how could Ryan Michele top her Ravage MC series she brings us Viper Creed MC series and holy hell she doesn't hold back it, it was action packed from the beginning the storyline drew me in from the first page seriously this series is going to be epic. The main male character spook has everything you want in a hot alpha male dirty mouth check domineering check loyal check protective check knows how to treat his woman check don't get me wrong in the beginning I thought he was an ass but as the story progressed I quickly changed my mind. Trixie was a real firecracker she was sassy stubborn and very independent and didn't let into he life to easy. I can't wait for more from this series and to see what the rest of the viper creed men have in store for us.
