Knight Force

Rate this book
An ultra-violent, humorous, and sexy one Knight stand in the cyberpunk future.

Part Knight. Part cop. All Badass!

From the bloody battlefields of the 3rd Crusade, to the neon streets of the cyberpunk future, Jacobi Kayven has stood a bulwark against the most terrible evils known to man. Whether Knight of the Realm or elite cop, he's an ageless, super-powered, one-liner spouting, totally handsome badass.
His sword and shield have been replaced by guns; his noble steed is now a top of the line supercar with the world's most advanced A.I pilot on board; and you know he's going to save any damsel in distress, no matter the odds - and then take her to bed.
The city he swore to protect is going to Hell – literally! Zombies in the streets, demons in the shadows, a rival Knight from his old life gifted the power of a deity intent on destroying the entire world. As if that isn’t bad enough – the treacherous leaders of the city have wiped his mind – stolen his memories, and his powers, in hope he won’t be able to stop a diabolical demonic invasion.

The world needs a new breed of hero – part Knight, part cop – all badass!

After serving in both Vietnam and The Falklands due to his Anglo-American heritage, AJ Vincent (or Shades to his friends) landed his dream job working as Phil Collins' roadie. Sadly, one fateful night on tour AJ was hit by a neon lightning bolt that transported him from 1985 to 2015. Now alone and confused in a world without r-rated action movies, padded shoulders or easily obtainable cocaine he attempts to write fiction which reminds him of the good old days.

Brilliant from start to finish

Knight force may well be one the best books I've read in a very long time. It's take everything great about 80s action films, and combines it with a solid plot. The characters are well fleshed out, the pacing is superb, and every chapter was a joy to progress through. If you enjoy a large dose of humour and action (or like the works of Harry Harrison), then this a must read. Now time to tackle the sequel.

Fun read

The book was long and short somewhat confusing. However , it was well written, well edited and I could not put it down. Some transitions need work, but with it overall.

It's like a straight-to-VHS 80s movie threw up in a book. It's that awesome!

I don't even know how to rate this. An action hero (or anti-hero) straight from an 80s direct-to-VHS flick who is actually an immortal medieval English knight fights demons from Hell in a somewhat post-apocalyptic dystopian cyberpunk future (or is it?) . . . it is almost a parody of itself at times . . . in many ways, the writing begs for a "3," but the concepts are so awesome they deserve a "5" . . . the execution lands it a "4" . . . and I'll probably read the sequel . . .
