This one gets to an interesting point about moral or legal flexibility, but very quickly moves on - the doubt over whether to release Swindle is resolved by the very next page. Nevertheless, there are some interesting dynamics here, as we get Swindle as well as Ultra Magnus, but also the seemingly amicable working relationship between Scorponok and Zarak, though that, too, doesn’t get much elaboration. I think this issue is a bit heavier on the action scenes than some of its predecessors, which takes up a lot of panel space.

I consider Transformers Spotlight as one of the best Transformers comics. The pros they are short, they are nicely drawn and the story is balanced for the length of the comics thus it is not boring. Ultra Magnus, our space sheriff, is facing the moral dilemma. Letting one criminal go in order to get another or stay on the law side ...always without any gray spots. Yes, Ultra Magnus is law, but even law can sometimes had flaws.
