Lots of unpronounceable Gaelic names but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially the story of the children of Tuirenn. Jason and the Argonauts for micks!

this book is excellent, I have been reading the Ulster cycle in order and have come to realize Randy's writing get better and better. The stories are, as the title suggests, sad but very compelling. I enjoyed all the characters, especially the Turein brothers. The sons of Turein was definetly my favorite out of the three stories but that's not to say the other two aren't enjoyable to read. I loved how the Sons of Turein went from the protaganist point of view to the antagonist and never made me feel like rooting for the antagonist which kept them as villians and not anti-heroes. the notes were more cohesive and interesting to read as well. I highly recommend this book to anyone.
