One of the best books available for gardeners along the Gulf Coast. It is well-laid out and developed with proper sections on soil, maintenance, and a monthly gardening calendar. Color photos of trees, shrubs, annuals, etc. helps any novice to expert identify plants.

Loved the detailed gardening to-dos by month and that they are catagorized by lawn care, what to plant, odd jobs etc. very helpful and lovely that it is tailored specifically to a Houston Area.
