Stealing His Thunder

Rate this book
From the author of the Masters Unleashed series, Sparrow Beckett revs things up with two lovers on a collision course in the first Masters of Adrenaline novel.

Nothing gives Addison Kennedy a rush like stealing cars. The Lexus was the perfect target, but before she can get its engine purring, she's cold-cocked unconscious. When she comes to, she finds herself on a bed with a blonde, tattooed god standing over her.

Fox Larson is shocked to discover the thief he knocked out is actually a hot girl. Bringing her home may not have been the smartest move, but he wasn’t about to leave an unconscious and defenseless woman in a parking garage. Besides, if she’s part of an auto theft crew infringing on his territory, he needs to pump her for information.

However, Addison has personal drive that won’t be denied and she’s desperate to prove Fox’s group needs her skills. Submitting to his kinks in the bedroom is a hot yet complicated bonus. When a big job goes bad, and Addison finally gets her chance, will she succeed in stealing his thunder?

God, he was going to break her, but she wanted to be broken.

Readers, are you ready for the kinkiest guilty pleasure book ever? Because Stealing His Thunder is sure to hit every spot you have. No joke. Think Fast and the Furious meets BDSM in funny, easy, and light romance. You have your Dom uber alpha, you have your slightly OTT sassy heroine, all wrapped up in a super sexy BDSM romance that's sure to please every palate.

This is book one in the brand new Masters of Adrenaline series, but I did read a few familiar names from Beckett's Masters Unleashed series. And while this is the beginning of the series, I found myself thinking that I may be missing certain backstories on a few secondary characters because it read like I should already know about them. Perhaps there's a little crossover from the other series that flew over my head as I've only read book one.

Firstly, allow me to give you a visual for the hero:

Mmmm hmmm. Not a bad visual to have while reading, let me just tell you. Beard, tattoos, and a penchant for kink. Delicious.

This is one of those books that you take for what it is: a little fluffy, a lot sexy, and definitely entertaining. You can just shut off your brain and enjoy it. No thinking required. Which is exactly what a girl needs sometimes. Fox Larson is a domineering, dirty talking uber alpha. Addison Kennedy is an overly sassy engineer turned car thief. There's nothing she won't do for her family. When her ailing grandfather is forced to live in a senior home because her grandmother can't take care of him at home, she's determined to get them money to help support them. Trouble is, a college student doesn't earn much. So why not put her engineering knowledge to boost some cars on the side? And when she gets in the crosshairs of car thief extraordinaire, Fox, she's determined to join his team...even if he's having none of it.

The writing reminds me a little of Jaci Burton; fluffy smut for lack of a better description. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Nothing at all. It's an entertaining read through and through, and if light and fluffy kink is what you're craving, this will hit the spot just right.

40% and it's a dnf for now.
Maybe I'll get back to it, but I can't bring myself to finishing at the moment as too many things feel kind of empty. Even their chemistry is only lukewarm, and it's a little sad for a kinky book.

I didn't particularly care for this book, I especially didn't care for Add or Fox..

These two opposites attract individuals were just too opposite for me despite their likes that bring them together.

Most of all it was the sexual half of the interactions that got to me the most.

The fact that Fox likes unwilling partners and women who don't enjoy what he does to them while having sex with them really turned me off.

Adds tolerance for being what is essentially victimized by him and his behavior toward her really bothered me to the point that I hated their involvement, I hated their relationship, I hated Adds draw to him and that his violent nature is what really made her like him most.

The book is well written it just wasn't my cup of tea.

I really, REALLY love Sparrow Beckett. I've been in love with this writing duo since their debut with Finding Master Right. Some of their stuff I've loved more than others but they always surprise me. This book was no different.

Addison was the heroine of this book and she was pretty cool. She was a bit on the young side. I mean, I don't usually like New Adult romances but if that's what this was... I DID like it! Anyway, to me, Addison seemed like a totally, average, normal college kid. Her parents exasperate her sometimes but she loves them. She loves her grandparents and wants to help take care of them. She has a roommate, she's dated... all the normal things. The unusual thing about Addison, though, is that she kind of likes stealing cars. Like... she really likes it. She loves the adrenaline rush and the fear of getting caught. Although I have no desire to steal cars, it was fun to experience things through her eyes. She was fun and funny and just the right amount of normal so that I could still relate to her with her adventures.

Fox was one heck of a hero. He's big, hot, and a total badass! Now, Fox is a full fledged car thief. His crew is made up of family members and I think he's a second generation car thief. He really knows what he's doing and he's damn good at it. It sounded to me like Fox was really well off, maybe even rich. I had no idea that someone could get rich from stealing cars but then again, I'm not too connected to the criminal underworld so what do I know? So Fox has a lot going for him but what put him over the top on the awesome scale was that he's a bit of a Dominant. He's not into collaring or any of that but he's definitely the boss in the bedroom. He was amazing!

The Sexy Time was really hot. I would say that this book had a little light BDSM in it. Nothing too crazy or heavy. Fox is bossy in the bedroom and he's into spanking, maybe a little discipline. But I think this would be okay for readers who don't know a lot about BDSM since it isn't a huge component of the book. I liked the progression of the relationship between Addison and Fox. It felt real. Addison isn't always sure where she stands with Fox and she isn't sure what she wants from Fox. Fox isn't too sure what he's feeling but he knows that he feels strongly for her. I really liked them together.

I would definitely recommend this book. I don't love stories that have criminals and law breakers but only because I can't really identify with that. Plus, it can get pretty unbelievable. But the illegal stuff wasn't too out of control or crazy and it wasn't like they were murders or anything awful. I thought there was a good amount of Sexy Time and I thought it was super hot. Readers who like bad boys will enjoy this book. Readers who like bad boys and the women who can keep up with them will enjoy this book even more!

I recently binged on the Original Sinners series, so I’d been in a BDSM mood when I picked up Stealing His Thunder. This is the first book I’ve read by Sparrow Beckett, and I don’t usually pick up new-to-me authors these days unless they’re highly recommended to me, but I’d been excited to read Stealing His Thunder nonetheless. It ended up being a good read, though not anything particularly special or unique. It’s a surprisingly light-hearted read, given the BDSM and car-stealing theme – so if you’re in the mood for something quick and hot, I’d recommend giving this book a try.

Addison is just a normal girl going to college… except for her extracurricular activity of stealing cars. She’s new at it but incredibly skilled, until one night she’s knocked unconscious and wakes up in an unfamiliar man’s bed. That man is Fox, and it turns out she was stealing a car HE was meant to steal. Fox is the leader of a ring of car thieves – stealing cars is his livelihood, and now Addison wants in so she can support her parents and grandparents. If there’s a hot chemistry between them, well, that’s an added bonus. So begins a dance of taunts and flirts and dares as Addison and Fox play with the attraction between them and enter an erotic relationship.

Addison and Fox felt pretty one dimensional to me. The attraction was hot, sure, but I never really connected with their characters, nor did I feel anything as their romance played out. The kink was fun, but nothing I’d never read before. I really enjoyed the first part of the book, with Addison meeting Fox and getting to know him and his car-stealing ways, but things flatlined a bit when sex was involved, because then it became ALL about the sex. I had to skim over quite a bit of the sex scenes because the story just wasn’t moving forward fast enough for me. I really wish that we could’ve focused more on the story and romance rather than the kink and lust.

All in all, Stealing His Thunder wasn’t a bad book, but it wasn’t something I fell in love with either. I probably wouldn’t continue with the series, but that’s not to say no one would enjoy the series either. Again, if you’re looking for something chock-full of steam and not too serious, then Stealing His Thunder just might be for you!

Boy oh boy how much I want to re-read this book! At first I didn't think I'm going to like Addison I thought she was OTT Sassy but I was so wrong! after the first chapter I end up liked her right away! And here's Fox our F*CKING HOT HERO! I love him so much! I love reading things that's going in his head I love how possessive he was over Addison. The chemistry between them is so hot the story made me really think that they're made for each other.

And let me tell you the sex scenes is GREAT! they are real explicit and steamy. Fox have a real dirty mouth! you'll need a cold shower after those scenes. I just can't believe why I didn't read this book sooner how silly!

Thanks to Sparrow Beckett you have no idea how long I suffered from book slum your book just save me!

Sparrow Beckett I'm going to stalk you FOREVER I just want to tell you that you did a great job. And I like 'Stealing His Thunder' so much! And I want more hero that like Fox! Sexy and have dirty mouth and all!

I need to start off by saying that this book was cute and light. A “Gone in Sixty Seconds” themed start to a new spinoff series where we are introduced to the new trio of heroes: well-off car thieves with a conscience.

That being said, this story was a miss for me. After finishing the Master’s Unleashed series, which I found (again) cute and light but really lacking substance, I was interested to start this new book, hoping for a bit more depth. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t there. I didn’t feel a connection to any of the characters, but more importantly, I didn’t feel like they had a connection to one another. Their attraction felt superficial and the situations in which they were put, implausible.

Addison is the student/wannabe car their who needs money to pay to put her grandmother in a retirement home to be with her grandfather. So, stealing cars seems to be the answer. On her first foray into the world of thievery she meets Fox, the head of a ring of car thieves, and it is insta-lust.

I have no problem with the insta-lust. It’s the insta-love that follows that gave me pause. Fox and Addision had no time to let any true emotional connection and trust grow, which left me feeling that I knew next to nothing about these characters and they knew even less about one another.

Addison was also a little too brash for me. I love it when there’s a heroine that’s ballsy and cocky and gives the hero a run for his money. When she is sassy and sarcastic. Addision was all these things, but I just found her to be one dimensional and lacking substance for me.

I am certainly not trying to dissuade anyone from giving this new series a try. As I said, it was fun and light and a quick, easy read, chock full of sexy scenes. But if you’re looking for any sort of a connection with the characters, something to draw out emotions and thought, this may not be the book for you.

DNFing at 25%. I wanted the heroine to be this bad ass, villainous car thief but she is not. She didn't feel at all like a car thief.

Her and the hero immediately start hooking up with no sexual tension - when he discussed safe words and brought out the toys I was done. No build up to their romance at all.

And no big car thief things yet!

Fox sure is a possessive one, “you’re mine, Addison,” he growled. “No matter where we are.” He grabbed her ****y and she gasped. “Do you understand me, woman?” Fox was demanding, pushy, all alpha and I loved it! Addison was fierce, spoke her mind and gave Fox a challenge which he needed I really liked this book.

I highlighted so much of the dialogue, the kindle pages have all turned pink!

I should have known when this book was dedicated to chocolate that I was going to do nothing less than love it. And I did!

Addison and Fox met in the most unconventional way possible, and their relationship never once strayed into the traditional—not for one minute. Addison was an uber-smart academic with a flair for finding and creating solutions as she pursued a career as an engineer. What that path didn’t give her was extra cash to help her family, or satisfy her secret need for the rush she craved from thrill-seeking, adrenaline highs. It seemed that Fox could give her all that, and much, much more.

Fox, what can I say about this sexy, ultra-dominant, tattoo-covered, tease of a bad boy? Deliciousness in a Mohawk may just cover it….

I wasn’t kidding when I said I highlighted this story to death… If it had been a real book I’m sure the highlighter would have been empty by the end. The conversations between Fox and Addison, their inner monologues, were some of the funniest, quirkiest and unexpected that I’ve ever read.

“How dare she say she was going to stalk him then not turn up for days? Did that show any commitment or pride in workmanship?”
“My father calls it healthy self-esteem. Do you think that’s a euphemism for ‘asshole’?”
“Her mom’s friends called themselves the Scrappers – like they were some kind of menopausal gang armed with decorative scissors and double-sided tape.”

And, not to be outdone, the heat and passion between them could burn up the highly-flammable highlights. Seriously off-the-charts, sexy scenes that pushed the Dom edges while still hanging on to the quirky, fun tone that threaded through the entire story. Even when things get serious—ailing grandparents, stolen cars, rival car thieves and the like—there was a light-heartedness to it all that made me struggle to take the thievery all that seriously. Even when the bullets were flying!

“Has anyone ever told you what a sexy ass you have?”
“Yeah, but I usually just call you Fox to your face.”

Geeky, funny, uber-hot and sexy, this was a secret gem I had no idea existed. And now I have to find everything this writing pair has ever written. There may be more Foxes about! ~ Diane, 4.5 stars

Every time I read a Sparrow Beckett book it becomes my favorite and I think how are they going to top this one. Well yeah this one was straight out fucking amazing. I loved that the main character girl Addison is a girl who steals cars. She is confident and strong willed and absolutely courageous. And the boy...Fox. To be honest I don't know who I had the bigger crush on, Addison or Fox. I mean Fox is moody and a tad hotheaded. However, that boy knows how to more than an engine started. Add in some hot man dominance and I am putty. I love it wasn't just mindless erotica or racing book. It is hot, sexy, erotica cars book. There is a reason behind everything it isn't just about hey let's steal some cars. Plus Addison has brains she isn't just tits and ass that will just hand over her integrity over a hot piece of ass. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but it's nice when the female and male characters are two separate people. They don't just meld into one person halfway through the book and you aren't sure who's actions are who's.

This book reminded of Gone in 60 Seconds but no Nicholas cage and a lot hotter. I love a hot car and even more hot sex in a hot car, on a car, etc. The book is so well written that it creates a movie within your head. You feel you are a voyeur in the relationship, but it's the most wonderful thing watching.

I would recommend reading this in an open space, due to the room will get hot. Not to mention there is a risk of shortness of breath and overwhelming desire to jump the persons bones closest to you. There may also may be a need to let off some sexual tension this book creates within you. If it doesn't make you all hot and bothered, I would suggest calling the dr. I would also say give yourself enough time to read the whole book. I was exhausted after work a 12 hour day and was like welllll I will just start with a chapter or two. Several hours later, the book was finished. Even though I was lacking sleep and exhausted, I could not regret my decision to say fuck sleep and continue reading this book.

What a ride.

There’s adrenaline here, alright.

And I don’t just mean the fast-paced plot. It’s also Addison and Fox’s funny rapid-fire banter, and the ferocious, all-consuming love scenes.

Since it’s a Sparrow Beckett novel there’s excellent consensual kink, of course, but it’s not high protocol. As Fox himself says, he’s dominant but not a Dom.

My only wish is that the third act breakup made more sense.

Highly recommended.

The Masters of Adrenaline series is an erotic romance where Fast and Furious meets Gone in 60 Seconds. As long as you don't mind the criminal element, this one will be a hit with some of my smutty fans and followers because it was H-O-T hot.

What can I say about Fox Larson? Mmmm... well let's start with his red gold locks, man bun and multitude of tattoos. Now pair that with an expensive suit, a nice house, a garage full of expensive cars, and a dominant personality. Sounds yummy right? I have to admit that Fox was pretty steamy. He was also the head of an family auto theft syndicate. He would be your Dom/Vin Diesel character in Fast and Furious. He was seriously bossy in a delightfully yummy way and, profession aside, I probably would let him boss me around too. But I just couldn't get behind all the car theft. He tried to justify it by saying they weren't hurting anyone - but I just don't buy that argument. This wasn't the scenario of the "good" bad boy... Fox and gang weren't out to help law enforcement or anything like Brian and Dom in F&F. This was just straight up stealing cars for profit. It wasn't sexy for me.

Addison Kennedy is a smart and sassy girl with lots of potential for a bright future. She is on scholarship to get her graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, and she has some real talent. But... she would rather be stealing cars. I honestly had a harder time with her character than Fox. I just couldn't relate to her as a professional female who spent a whack on my education, I can't imagine throwing it all away for the thrill that she got from boosting a car. Addison was also somewhat immature and I didn't like how she handled a rough patch in the relationship with Fox... I want my characters communicating instead of playing games. (Do I sound like an old lady or nerdy bird yet?)

It's been a while since I've read anything in the BDSM trope, and this author did a good job with the steamy sexytime. The focus was more on the sex than the emotion, and those parts were well-written and definitely fogged my kindle a time or two. Fox and Addison's chemistry was off the charts, even if they weren't good about the whole adult communication thing. I would have loved some more character development there... a little more backstory or inner monologue may have drawn me in enough to get past the criminal aspect.

I really thought that I would like this series more when I read the blurb... I love the Fast and Furious movies so I didn't think this would be a far stretch. But apparently I need some kind of redeeming aspects to support the illegal acts. Who knew? Don't get me wrong... I think the author's writing was good and most of the characters were interesting, and I had no qualms with the pacing or plot. I just couldn't get in the right head space to accept the premise. This surprised me given my love for mobsters and hit men... but thieves, not so much.

I voluntarily reviewed a gratuitous copy of this book that I received from the publisher, Berkley.

This is my first book from Sparrow Beckett and I thought it was really good!

I absolutely love how the story starts out!! From this line in the very beginning, "It was hard to believe she’d gone from mostly law-abiding undergrad student to criminal all because of a news segment on high-end car theft", I was hooked. That line in a nutshell describes the heroine, Addison Kennedy. She went from determined college student, to an adrenaline junkie. She hadn't found anything that fed into this newly discovered need, like stealing cars. One evening while trying to steal a gorgeous silver Lexus, she gets knocked unconscious. She comes to in a strange, sexy, tattooed man's bed.

Fox Larson thought he had knocked out a man stealing cars on his turf but discovers quickly, he, is a she. Not wanting to leave her there unconscious he takes her with him. Fox is the real deal car thief. He is a part of a close knit crew made up of family members. He exudes sex appeal in every way. He is the ultimate bad boy, alpha, dominate man.

Even though Addison enjoys stealing cars, she would do anything she could to help her family. Her family means the world to her. When her grandparents are in desperate need of money for care, she decides to take her car stealing to the next level for financial gain. Convincing Fox to let her join his crew is another story.

I really enjoyed this book. I went into it blind not expecting the intense, kinky relationship between the main characters. Fox was, simply put, HOT! I love the relationship between the two and I loved how feisty and fun Addison was.

I sometimes felt a little lost in the story because it seemed as though the reader was supposed to already know certain things and back stories. I also felt some of the sex scenes were a little over the top for me personally. I did like that the author realistically, in my opinion, described the progression of their relationship. While there was instant chemistry, there thankfully, wasn't instant love. They struggled a bit with understanding their feelings. Overall, it was an entertaining book. Based on this book I would read more from this author.

I always love the option of picking up an author I've never read before, and diving into their worlds. Sometimes you may get disappointed. In cases like this one, you aren't.

While reading the story, I immediately loved Addison, the good girl in search of the rush. Now, the way that Addison and Fox meet is extremely extremely unconventional. Extremely. But how Sparrow had them meet, and the way that she developed their relationship was awesome. Now I'm not saying there aren't things that threw me off. Like how we mention how quickly she falls into subspace, but yet after they finally do the deed, or during, there's no mention of it. It really doesn't come up often.. that seemed a little off to me. But it wasn't something that turned me off the story. Actually, the way that Fox went all Dommy, but wasn't a Dom was really hot. Sparrow definitely heats up the pages with these two, and she holds nothing back.

I did get a little nervous when the letter arrived, I mean who knows how smarty pants Addison is going to react.. I can't say she reacted at all how I expected. I expected truth, honesty and oversharing. I expected Fox to go all Dommy and order her around. I was surprised at the wrench that Sparrow threw these two.

I also loved the secondary characters- Fox and Addison's families. They really added to the relationship and characters. The drama that involved them didn't take away from Fox and Addison, it made their relationship that much more important.

All in all I really did like this book. And I'm kind of hoping Atlas and Luke get their own book... or maybe a tattoo.... or two...

I give this 3.5-4 stars

DNF at 67%.

Yeah, you'd think if I made it that far, I could just finish it. But I hadn't enjoyed reading it since around 35-40% and I finally couldn't do it anymore.

I've read other books with alpha males. I've read other D/s books before. I don't always like these Dominant, alpha men unless there's something softer about them that I can grasp onto. (See: anything by Cherise Sinclair, Samantha Young's On Dublin Street series) This...no. Fox was bossy, cold, and his emotions were told to us, not shown. There was no softness to him at all.

Mostly I stopped reading this because I felt dirty. I hesitate to even call this "romance" because that was one of the most messed up loves I've ever seen before. Fox held all the power and Addison was just along for the ride. That's not a relationship. Relationships are about balance and they had none of that. It felt gross because Addison was basically a stubborn, willful child to Fox and I was not ok with that.

I kept reading this for so long because I kinda liked the premise. I thought it was cool that Addison was an adrenaline junkie and the whole thing revolved around car theft. It was different. But ultimately, I couldn't get past my issues with them as a couple (again, if I can even call it that).

Dnf @46% - I really liked the master series this author so I wanted to give this a try. The blurb sounding interesting and made it seem like fast and the furious meets bdsm but I had a hard time getting into the characters and the plot. Addison was basically a good girl going to school but was an adrenaline junky. What I couldn't really understand is why stealing cars. I get she wanted her grandparents in the same place but putting her own life at risk and disappointing her parents just didn't seem worth it. I believe she could have found another way. Fox and her have a physical chemistry and some hot sex but that's all I really saw with them. I guess I hoping for more of an emotional depth and maybe that happens later on in the book but at 46% I expected it to be there already. This novel just wasn't for me.

Review for Stealing His Thunder by Sparrow Beckett

Holy Hotness Batman! Sparrow Beckett outdid herself with Stealing His Thunder. I went into this book expecting it to be sexy, but not as hot as the Masters Unleashed series -- I was wrong, this one is just as hot, maybe even more. It's a bit of Gone in 60 Seconds meets dirty, dirty, smutty goodness. It's the kind of book you don't want to put down, and if you did it's only for a panty change.

I know I'm talking up the smut parts, but the actual storyline is great as well. I was hooked from the start. All of the characters draw you in and make you root for them -- despite the whole criminal thing. Ha!

Cannot wait to get my hands on book two! I know it's going to be just as great. Four Stars and Five Plus Wet Panties.

Sparrow Beckett has not disappointed with Stealing His Thunder. Amazing characters, great plot, lots of witty dialogue and sass, and steaming hot scenes with a musley tattooed man who is very good at melting panties.

If you fell in love with the Masters Unleashed series, you will fall in love with Stealing His Thunder because everything that made the Masters Unleashed series as awesome as it is, you will find in this book. I absolutely fell in love with Fox and the smart mouthed Addison. They are such a fun and quirky couple and it won't take long for you to fall in love with them either. So many swoon worthy moments and dialoge that will have you chuckling as you read. I can't wait to read more in the Masters of Adrenaline series!

"All of it was like magic. Like a twisted fairy tale where Prince Charming was an evil, sadistic bastard, with a feather instead of a sword."

Addison and Fox burn up the pages in this first part of Sparrow Beckett's newest series. Fans of their Masters Unleashed series will remember meeting Fox briefly, but this is a completely new series.

I love the fact that although Addison comes from a completely different background and upbringing she is just as determined and addicted to the rush of fast cars and stealing them as Fox and his gang. Although I guarantee Fox and Addison will rev your engine more than any sports car.

Think Fast and Furious with kinky sex and more emotions!!!

Fans of Fast & Furious and Gone in 60 Seconds will love Stealing His Thunder. Set in Las Vegas Fox's car theft ring is fighting for a place in the underground when thrill seeking Addison stumbles across his path. Throw in some crazy German tattoo artists/dungeon masters, explosions, and shoot-outs, and you have an action filled book. Fox and Addison's feelings for one another grow as she juggles her normal life of job, college, and parents with her need for speed and Fox's touch. Can she find a balance, Can he let her in? I loved being part of the ride. The pacing is excellent, the scenes steamy, and the plot suspenseful.

I really loved this story! Addison and Fox are super hot together! I loved that they had to figure out who they are and what they want so they can be together. Loved that there was a reference to the Masters Unleashed guys who stole cars before their stories started. It's always really fun to see characters from other stories be mentioned. The story was great, the characters awesome and the sex super steamy. Definitely a good first book to a new series.

The book is cute! Not as intense as Finding Master Right, but still great. This is my second time rereading it, and it is still a whole ride. I liked the adrenaline rush of the story and the relationship between the characters.

Sparrow Beckett's "Stealing His Thunder" was a great action packed, steamy book.

Addison, is a college student trying to make extra money to help out her family, and gets caught by Fox Larson, and then our story begins.

Addison, is definitely a friend I would have. She's smart, kind, and a bit of a baddie. However, my only discrepancy with her is how she handled a situation with Fox towards the end of the book; after said situation she proved to me that she was a ride or die; and I respect her for that.

Fox Larson, is YUMM-TASTIC! He may be a DOM, but not in the overbearing sense. He controls her in the bedroom, but respects her brilliance, her mind, her body and everything in between. He may be overprotective, but he means well.

And, holy hot chemistry, batman! Fox & Addison's chemistry is off the charts! They're a good fit together, which makes the story and they're steamy moments so good.

If you're looking for a spicy, action-packed read, then definitely check the book out; well series as this is book 1 of "The Masters of Adrenaline Series". I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the Trilogy!

Happy Reading, Lovebugs📚🐞💋💕

I should start by saying that I enjoyed the stealing and the action in the novel. It was amazing and a lot of pleasure to read how Addison and Fox are introduced to us. The intensity in the book keeps building for me as the action moves along, and I adore every word. In several instances, Addison exhibits incredibly youthful behavior, but I am unable to explain why. The BDSM sequences were beautifully written and undoubtedly sexy. We did get to know some wonderful supporting players, especially Fox's brother and cousin, about whom I'm glad to announce that I'm looking forward to reading books.

I've read other books by this author and with this narrator, so I had high hopes for this one. Somehow the chemistry between these characters was never believable. I found myself not really caring about the car thieves or their turf war with a rival thief gang.

I might continue the series just because the audiobooks are available on scribd and these are the sort of books that I listen to when I find myself awake late at night thinking too much about work. These audios are distracting for that purpose.
