This was an enjoyable 1 day read. Lots of real life encounters with the now extinct grizzlies of the South western US. There's even an account in there from the well-known western author Zane Grey. I think I also enjoyed reading about many places that I have visited, such as the Tonto basin and some local (Arizona resident here) national parks.

Mostly a collection of old hunting (extermination) stories. Little added insight except for a very brief epilogue.
