A collection of true stories about grizzly and black bears in the Greater Southwest—Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, southern California, Chihuahua, and Sonora—from the 1820s to the present.
This was an enjoyable 1 day read. Lots of real life encounters with the now extinct grizzlies of the South western US. There's even an account in there from the well-known western author Zane Grey. I think I also enjoyed reading about many places that I have visited, such as the Tonto basin and some local (Arizona resident here) national parks.
