Real and raw - Erica Clark uses her personal teenage journal stories to pull back the curtain on the pressures, perceptions, and provincialism that was an unfortunate inherent part of growing up on the Chicago North Shore in the 90's. A quick read, this is a short novella that I finished in an hour.

funny read with some heart wrenching moments
