DK Reader Level 2: "Angry Birds(TM) Transformers(TM) Robot Birds in Disguise" introduces the heroic Autobirds and their Deceptihog foes. Dynamic images recreate the awesome action and clear, informative text helps children beginning to read alone to develop their reading skills.
Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).
If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.
Note: WorldCat is an excellent resource for finding author information and contents of anthologies.
I'm sorry but these books are absolutely terrible. Not even remotely appropriate vocabulary for level 2 readers. Their level 1 Angry Birds Transformers is not readable by level 1 reading children, either.
No storyline, base description of the characters, and boring artwork. To top it off, the next book in the lineup is almost identical, just with a new item thrown in. This is literally just a money-grab for the Angry Birds people and after months of hearing about nothing but Angry Birds from one of the boys I watch, I'm sick of it.
The words were either too challenging or not challenging at all. That's not what I expect from a DK readers level 2 book.
Please, don't waste your money and just look up Angry Birds descriptions online. It amounts to the same thing.
There's no story. It's just a description of each bird. The words are quite big for kids trying to read them to themselves, and the lack of story makes it hella boring for adults to read out loud.
