I picked up this book because I was in the mood for an easy read and I thought the premise of a female tycoon was interesting. The book for me overall lacked development. I suppose that is to be expected from a Harlequin pocketbook romance. However, what was frustrating was that the female lead might be a tough broad in the boardroom but a pushover when it comes to love. She seems to have forgiven the male lead too quickly after he cheated on her with her best friend 12 years ago. And the ending just felt too convenient and rushed. I was hoping for more angst and that the male lead groveled some more; he was the one in the wrong after all. Had the plot, characters & the motivations behind their actions been better developed I may have rooted for the couple but alas it was a let down.

Loved the the strong female role of the story. Felt the characters could have been developed a little more. Nice change.
