A Prince In Plain Sight by LuAnn McLane is a modern day fairy tail about two people brought together unexpectedly in unique circumstances.

Anna and Nick's story was easy to fall into, and LuAnn made it interesting with the twist to this Prince's story! I felt for Anna and what she experienced after Nick left the first time...she waited, then began to give up hope he'd ever return. When he does he's full of surprises! But are the feelings real or just an act for Nick?

A Prince In Plain Sight flows well and I enjoyed this short story. I did feel like an epilogue would have ended the story neater, there were a few things to come I'd love to have been a part of!

I'd recommend A Prince In Plain Sight to any romance reader looking for a quick, romantic read.

This is the second part of LuAnn McLane's Happily Ever After trilogy. In it we have Nick Worth back in Daleville, AL hoping to find his way back into Anna Lee's heart. She's just as determined to keep him out. He's hoping she will soften when she finds out the truth about why he left her.

I'm really enjoying this story, just wish I didn't have to wait for the next installment. Definitely recommend the entire series.

Each book leaves you hanging.

I do not like books that are not complete. Yes, each book comes to a semi-conclusion but does not complete the couple's story. It leads you into the next book. Book one they meet. Book two they get to know each other. It looks like in book three they will get married. I won't be buying any more books from this author. I don't like being forced into buying books or when authors sell partial stories as full books. It's like buying a car then having to buy the engine, brakes, steering column, etc. Before you get the complete vehicle. Maybe this is your thing. That's fine, the story is good. I just don't like deception.

If you're good at self-correcting grammatical errors you can enjoy this story.

The story is good, but the lack of proof reading, editing was frustrating. Someone did do their job with this book. I gave it a three because the storyline was believable.

I read one and two in this series and much like Anna I felt duped at the end of book one, because unbeknownst to me it was a cliffhanger. I hate being compelled to buy a book Happily, the story and premiss were good.

So glad the story ended happily. I really got into the characters in the second book. Where do they go from there? What about Conner and Amber? Where is the next book? I can’t seem to find it. Do Belinda and Cade get back together or is it the sexy Agent Thompson who rings her bell?

We first met Anna Lee Brody and Prince Royal Nicholas Mackenzie Worthington in A Royal Christmas Gift. This is the conclusion to their story.

In this book, Nick has returned to Daleville Alabama to be with Anna Lee and explains why he left abruptly and who he really is. While he stays with Anna Lee, his identity must remain a secret as to not bring danger to Anna Lee, her family or the people of Daleville.

At first Anna Lee isn't sure what to make of him being a prince, but things quickly fall into place and the romance begins again.
As quickly as Nick arrives, he has to leave again without an explanation.

While visiting with her mother and sister, FBI agent Dylan Thompson arrives at the house and they are asked to come with him immediately. They are whisked away to Calloway Island where Nick has a surprise for Anna Lee.

This is a very quick sweet story. You definitely need to read A Royal Christmas Gift first as this is the conclusion to that story. I honestly think the two books should have been combined into one. By the short length and subject, I saw no need to split them up. If you’re looking for something lighthearted and quick to read, I think you’ll enjoy this story.

This is part two to A Royal Christmas Gift. The first book ends with Nick having to leave Daleville to begin the process of turning Calloway Island over to the U.S. A Prince in Plain Sight picks up where we left off. Nick comes back and with him, the truth of who he is and what he needs Anna Lee to do for him.

Needless to say, Anna Lee is a bit upset. Not only did Nick leave her, he had completely lied to her about his identity. Now she is expected to hide a Prince! Reluctantly she agrees and vows to avoid him at all costs. However, this does not last long and just as she has fallen deeply in love, Nick makes a quick exit…again! He asks her to trust him and to believe. Can Anna Lee trust him? She isn’t so sure this time.

I loved this second half of their story! I do wish there might have been a bit of danger, someone lurking in the woods instead of the hint of it. I also wish he would have found his brother. That was heartbreaking to read and had hopes of him showing up later in the story. Other than that, I loved it! I recommend both stories (in order of course)!

Anna Lee feels lost. Nick Worth had swept her off her feet and then abruptly left. He had promised to come back but that hadn't happened. Anna is struggling to get on with her life. Then out of the blue an FBI agent appears with Nick and forces her to help hide Prince Nicholas. She's shocked. How could he lie to her? I enjoyed this continuation of Anna and Nick's romance. What started in A Royal Christmas finishes in this book. Anna is a feisty woman who knows how to put the Prince in his place. I laughed as Nick struggled with everyday chores such as making meals or washing clothes. Nick is a charming royal who loves Anna and wants to make peace with her. He has his work cut out for him. Their interaction made for a charming and humorous romance. I loved returning to Daleville. It was the perfect setting for this second chance love affair. LuAnn McLane created character I liked with dialogue and situations that were romantic. I'm looking forward to more stories in this series.

Anna Lee is lost and confused after Nick leaves with no explanation, just a beautiful Christmas gift and declaration of love. When Nick returns with his FBI agent in tow, his explanations shock Anna Lee. She is angry, but agrees to let him stay, giving him a list of chores to help her complete the work on her Bed and Breakfast. She avoids him when at all possible, so Nick is left to figure out how to do things for himself, including food and laundry.
He finally corners her and she ultimately takes pity on him, teaching him to do his laundry and making him something other than a sandwich.
This was a light read and a good conclusion to the story, although the actual ending felt a bit rushed. It is definitely a 2-part story, so it does not stand alone. I recommend it for a light and quick read.

I couldn't wait for A Prince in Plain Sight and the ending to Anna and Nick's story. At the end of the first book, Nick left without any explanation and in a letter asked Anna to believe in him. For months Anna has been awaiting his return. Finally, Nick is back as himself Prince Nicholas. Now Anna has to decide if she is willing to help him make a better life for his people. She is heartbroken and feels betrayed by the man she loved. The FBI agent throws the back taxes on her property in her face and she agrees to help in exchange for the taxes being forgiven. The back taxes and the location of her bed and breakfast made her the perfect candidate, in the eyes of the FBI, to hide the prince. That was why they originally placed Nick there as a trial run before Christmas. Once "Nick" moves into the B&B they slowly fall back into their relationship. Maybe falling in love with a prince really is every girls dream. Great ending to a beautiful love story.

A Prince In Plain Sight is the sequel to A Royal Christmas Gift and really, to get the best out of both books you should read them in order. Set in Alabama, this charming love story is light, sweet and a breezy read.
I prefer each book in a series to be able to stand alone without leaving readers wondering who's who or how they came to be thinking or doing a particular thing and unfortunately neither the prequel nor A Prince In Plain Sight really works as a stand-alone. My preference in this case would have been to see both books melded into one.
I found the plot reasonably plausible although it would have been a better read had the threat of danger eventuated. The characters were likeable though at times I wanted to shake Anna Lee for her silliness. This book is ideal if you're after a non-demanding happy ever after

Nicholas Worth (actually Prince Royal Nicholas Mackenzie Worthington) left Anna Lee Brody alone and in love, on Christmas Eve without any way to contact him. He left a present and a note saying he would be back. Her heart is broken and she tries valiantly to fill her days renovating her historic home to build it into an inn. She has no idea of she will ever see Nick again.
Nick has been staying at Anna Lee’s in seclusion while his home island, Calloway, becomes an American territory. When he does return to Anna Lee, he tells her everything and the FBI agent with him tells her that she must continue to hide Nick until he is safe. Anna Lee doesn’t know what to do with Nick and her feelings so she keeps her distance.
You’ll find it’s a lovely story about earning trust and letting the heart rule.

Anna is ready for the ride of her life with Nick. The story picks ups after the conclusion of the first book, with Nick returning to Alabama to help Anna get ready for her bed and breakfast. Nick learns a lot of the average every day living , just as things were heating up in the romance department, Nick suddenly has to leave again. Will Anna, ever get her prince?

A fun short story that will leave you smiling and rooting for Anna and Nick. It can be read as a stand alone but I think reading the first book, A Royal Christmas Gift will even make the story better. Maybe a follow up story would be fun?

Anna Lee is at a loss. In the conclusion of the previous book in this series, Nick Worth had swept Anna Lee off her feet and then abruptly left-promising he would return. But Anna Lee is still waiting and struggling to get on with her life. Out of the blue an FBI agent appears with Nick and helps to explain why Nick disappeared and asks for Anna Lee's help to help hide Prince Nicholas. She's shocked by the idea that Nick is a prince and how could he lie to her. The more time they spend together, the harder it is for Anna Lee to keep Nick at arms length. Great story, great characters and I highly recommend this series for a great read.

This book picks up where the first book leaves off. Nick has left suddenly and Anna Lee is left to pick up the pieces of her broken heart. Just when she thinks she might of mended her broken heart, Nick shows back up and reveals his big "secret". Her hand is forced into helping Nick and hiding him "in plain sight". She looses her heart to him again and just as quickly as he came, he leaves again. This time she's been taken to him and finds out the best news of all. I would say the cover to this book, should probably be the cover for the NEXT book.

A Prince in Plain Sight by LuAnn McLane is book 2 in a series. It continues right where book one, A Royal Christmas Gift, left us. Book on, was quite the cliffhanger, so it was good to finally read the ending to a good story.
It's well written and a lovely fairy tale type of story. I like it. I don't like that it keep us waiting for the next book, but now that both books are out, you can read them back to back. In my mind, it should really just be one book.
nice story, nice characters and a really lovely setting.

I was so happy to read this second book of the series to get caught up with all I was left wondering about after the first book. Such good writing, has you cheering for Anna and Nick.
But now I am left full of hope for a third book, I was two pages from the end when I realized they could not wrap up all I still wanted to read about , please let there be another book.

This is a cute story. Nick Worth comes into Anna Lee's life with a grant to help refurbish her soon to be opening B&B and and alias about being from the historical society. And the. He disappears on Christmas Eve, leaving a gift and professing his love and begging her to have faith and believe in him. After a heartbreaking week he reappears, with an FBI agent and a a story she is hard pressed to believe.

Read this, it will make you smile.

I enjoyed this book until it got to the end, which seemed to rushed for me. Anna Lee is trying to restore her family home to open it as a B&B When Nick Worth shows up offering her grant money for the work. The two become involved and he leaves abruptly leaving only a note and a Christmas gift. When he shows back up he shocks her with news that he is a Prince and needs a place to hide. Unable to say no the two have a second chance, or do they?

Less parts to skip over so that was good. I didn't realize this was the second of something, but it explained the previous happenings pretty well. The story was short and cute though the southern slangs were a bit over the top at first.

After weeks of Nick being gone and not finding anything about him on face book and Google him and the F.B.I agent show up. Trying to tell her what has been going on and why he was hiding out her place she lets him stay but tries to stay out of his way. But there is still that love it first sight with them.

This is a very kitschy story of a small town girl who falls in love with someone who turns out to be someone else. It’s a cute story full of good ole southern sayings and some crazy wacky loving things. The message is clear though and people with good intentions end up where they need to be. Pick this one up if you are in for a bit of a fairy tale with a happy ending.
