"I love you, Mummy, because you cover me with kisses, like warm sunbeams when I wake."
This book is perfect for cuddling amd bedtime story. It narrates a story about Mommy Bear and Baby Bear who shared precious moments filled with love and joy. It is also about the various love languages of a mother. ❤️
While reading this book to my 5 month old baby, she smiled and stared at me maybe to let me know she understand it because we also have the same love languages. Perhaps in her own world, she knows we are like Mommy Bear and Baby Bear. I am filled with joy and love. That kilig moment when I felt loved by my daughter...priceless. 🥰

I Love You, Mommy by Melanie Joyce, is a great book as it talks about loving mom being by your side for everything. I've actually read this to my one year old son and I love reading this to him. I believe this book can be read to newborn to PreK. Reading this to PreK students can allow kids to have a better understanding that mom's show their love in many different ways which is why we love moms. For an activity. I would ask students to draw a picture of their favorite things to do with their mom.
I’ve read this countless times. Though I’m a grown-up already, I still cherish certain children’s books like this. No judgments please LOL! Anyway, I love this book for the sweetness of this message. It’s wonderful how the cub enumerates all the reasons why he loves his mom. Plus, it’s also amazing that this book gives a glimpse into their daily activities together- from waking up to bedtime. I believe this should be read by people of all ages.
This book is a great book for anyone who has been shown unconditional love from their mother. The mother bear and baby bear are shown doing different activities together. The author brilliantly describes the relationship between a mother and her child. Since your child wakes up until your child falls asleep. The illustrations demonstrate and show the tenderness in the mother’s eyes when she is hugging and holding her child. The colors provoke a feeling of calmness, acceptance and belonging. The child feels safe when they are around their mother in this reading. You can see the sense of bond that is present. I encourage to people to read this book to child. After all the target audience are children between newborn to third grade.
Mommy Bear shows her love in so many ways. In Melanie Joyce's sweet story, a cub tells his mother, why he loves her. On each spread, he says " I love you because..." and lists the different things that she does for him. The charming paintings by Palina Livein are heartwarming. This lovely book is perfect for a child's early library. It would also make a great gift at Valentines's Day, because Mommy is a child's first valentine after all, or at Mother's Day so the kid's aren't left out when Mom gets her gifts. I gave this book to my toddler grandson last year at Mother's day and he still loves it.
A board book in a fairly large size with beautiful illustrations of the mummy bear and her cub. My baby is really attracted by the illustrations, and tries to turn the pages to the ones that appeal to him the most (he’s not entirely coordinated enough to do that yet, though).
The story is told in the cub’s voice as he lists the reasons why he loves his mother. We have actions to go with the text, and they make reading the book that much more interactive.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a very hard and heavy book to realize. I didn’t grow up with a mother around. I didn’t really know the significance of what a mother’s purpose was. This book definitely taught me what a mother really was.
Wish I knew this earlier, but it’s better now than never. A good book if you can find the time and ability to read to a child.
I enjoyed this book. I thought that the illustrations were very cute. the story flowed well and it held my kids attention. I would recommend this book to others.

This book has great illustrations and can depict ways a mother loves her child with no words. This children would have to use context clues to determine how the mother loves her child. Cute book!
I read this book and it was very nice to see the book provide such a real illustration of what a mom does for her child! Such a bonding book to keep the positive relationship with a child’s mother.
An ode from a child to their mother and the unconditional love that she gives and shows. A heart warming look at motherly love, and the joys it brings.
